Chapter 605: Chapter 601: Returning to Base
The scientists attempted to input a command, “ASI89I%%$,” which was a query instruction for specific observation data about a Constant Star.
All the data was processed by Oga and then published; these commands are just like programming languages in a database, where humans have the authority to access data but are unable to modify the content within.
Indeed, with just a blink of an eye, people obtained a massive stream of related data.
Dense strings of numbers flickered incessantly on the screen.
In these data, a large portion pertained to observational data of the Constant Star, accumulating several thousand PBs per second. It was due to such precise observations that the Dyson Sphere could be controlled optimally.
A small part comprised the main control programs, such as which gate had been opened, which component had been damaged, and so on.
The last bit included future construction instructions that would be released, encompassing all the necessary materials, components, and specific performance requirents—a complete array!
“What a treasure! What a treasure!” Zhang Yuan exclaid excitedly.
The group analyzed the data for a long ti and generally agreed that just the observational data of the Constant Star were enough for humans to benefit greatly, not to ntion the other assorted stuff.
“Very valuable data.”
“This Artificial Intelligence is enough to keep us busy for decades. We can fully understand the Constant Star and the operation of the Dyson Sphere.”
If the database was used well, most of the structure of the Dyson Sphere could be deduced. Zhang Yuan couldn’t help but marvel at the Tabi Civilization’s generosity and confidence. If humans had designed the Dyson Sphere, it was very likely that they would not have shared so much… yet the other party had such confidence.
“But then again, the Tabi Civilization capable of building this Dyson Sphere may have very different principles from those of humans. We wouldn’t be the sa at that level.”
“Let’s go, let’s head back. The basic inspection is over. It’s ti to stun everyone!”
“Yes!”
Everyone’s mood was exhilarated, and they started joking with each other.
After more than a month of exploration, most of the intelligence had been organized. A portion of the people would remain at the New Human Civilization Embassy, where the Foreign Minister, Yang Fan, would lead two to three hundred diplomats to stay here and receive any Alien Civilization that might visit.
Many engineering machines had already appeared around the entire embassy. Over the past month, the main base had dispatched a construction team of about five hundred people, and the engineers would build a comfortable ho here.
Zhang Yuan and the other scientists would return to the main base, bringing back all the inspection materials to discuss the future developnt direction together.
The Transport Ship distanced itself from the Dyson Sphere and then initiated Curvature Navigation. The speed of the entire journey was swift—roughly two days later, they arrived at the location of the Qi Cheng Mother Ship.
Seeing the spaceship return successfully, all the expedition mbers were greeted with enthusiastic cheers and applause.
Zhang Yuan took a deep breath; the feeling of returning to the Mother Ship was always so relaxing. Moreover, the gains from this ti were far too significant…
People must make good use of everything here to strengthen themselves.
After resting for a few hours, Zhang Yuan and the other returnees reported the specifics of their expedition that afternoon.
In fact, there wasn’t anything particularly noteworthy; most of the basic data about the Dyson Sphere was not a secret and had already been transmitted back to the main base via wireless communication.
Since the mbers of the assembly were already aware of these details, there was no need to repeat them.
Other sensitive matters that needed discussion included so human conjectures and future developnt directions.
“First is the reason for the construction of the Dyson Sphere…” A diplomat on stage began, “We had asked many interstellar civilizations, but most of them did not know the details of this aspect… Perhaps so civilizations are aware, but they are unwilling to tell us directly without reason.”
“But what we can be certain of is that it has a very strong capacity for warfare. Based on so weapon structures, its primary attack mode is speculated to be close to the speed of light with antimatter particle beams.”
“Additionally, there are so space weapons we do not understand. Near the Dyson Sphere, due to the massive gravity, Curvature Navigation is unfeasible, so various Curvature Missiles would be hard-pressed to approach… but the space weapons created by the Dyson Sphere itself can surpass the speed of light. It would utterly crush a real Fourth-level Civilization in battle.”
“…Furthermore, military supplies in the interstellar trading market are slowly appreciating in value. Especially the price index of antimatter, which has slowly doubled over the past three thousand years.”
“If the Dyson Sphere is fully constructed, the production of antimatter will greatly increase, yet the price of the substance continues to appreciate. This is sothing we should pay particular attention to… No phenonon occurs without reason; there must be a firm logic behind it.”
The few journalists listening at the side widened their eyes with a sense of an impending storm.
Could it be… this place is dangerous? So, certain civilizations that received the news ahead of ti are amassing a large amount of antimatter.
Zhang Yuan raised his hand and added, “However, after investigation, we generally believe that the main purpose of this colossal structure is not for warfare. There should be other reasons, such as serving as a platform for an interstellar trading market or as a super spaceship that crosses millions of light-years between star systems!”
“This now-vanished Tabi Civilization was a particularly gentle ideologically. According to the agreent, every civilization that has built a Dyson Sphere has the freedom to land on that Dyson Sphere to carry out activities and access relevant data, on condition that they do not cause destruction…”
“It’s equivalent to a natural, interstellar civilization’s refuge!”
“The Dyson Sphere also has a series of self-repair capabilities. Even without the trading market’s maintenance, it can still issue a series of tasks, with antimatter as the basic reward.”
“I believe that without special industrial ans, it is very difficult to mass-produce antimatter. It is a high-level energy source and a weapon of war. For most civilizations, a large amount of antimatter is quite tempting, so they are willing to serve here for it.”
So industrial experts in the audience nodded silently. For humanity, the production of antimatter is not particularly difficult: two beams of special frequency lasers colliding can produce a small amount of antimatter.
But how to produce antimatter both well and quickly has beco a significant challenge.
