Within the Solar System, it was virtually impossible for any naturally evolved species to threaten human dominance. As the apex of the food chain, humans had an attitude of taking from other life forms as they pleased.
Take, for example, corgis and teddy bears, so dog breeds whose tails were cut off just to make them “look cute.”
Or consider purebred dogs and cats that, despite nurous genetic defects, were bred in large numbers simply for their “cuteness,” even though they possessed weak life forces and poor resistance, often suffering from hereditary diseases from birth; king of the jungle, the tiger, kept in cages for people’s viewing pleasure; elephants and bears beca circus perforrs…
Such long-term habits led all people to unconsciously develop a sense of superiority. The so-called animal protection associations, cat lovers, and dog lovers were rely based on this sense of superiority that allowed control over animals; without it, no one would love cats or dogs.
