Before driving to the airport, Lucas Lowell sent Natalie Kendall a ssage.

Lucas Lowell put down his phone, the green light turned on, he started the car, drove a bit, and quietly glanced at the passenger seat at Isaac Vaughn.
Isaac Vaughn silently looked out the window, his expression was utterly serious.

Lucas Lowell couldn’t help but grip the steering wheel more tightly and opened the window a bit for so air.
An hour later, they arrived at the airport.
There was still an hour before Natalie Kendall’s flight boarding.
The luggage had already been checked in, and Natalie Kendall was in the lounge sipping coffee.
Lucas Lowell spotted Natalie Kendall sitting by the window, looking at the scenery outside, and strode over.
"Hey, didn’t we agree I’d see you off?"
He stood by the table, tapped his finger on the table to remind Natalie Kendall of his arrival.
Natalie Kendall ca to her senses, turned her head and saw Lucas Lowell, and imdiately also saw Isaac Vaughn behind him.

Natalie Kendall was the first to look away.
Seeing Isaac Vaughn, she couldn’t help but recall the ridiculousness from that day.
Lucas Lowell turned back to glance at Isaac Vaughn, thinking he was natural but actually exaggeratedly pointing at the coffee in front of Natalie Kendall: "What’s this coffee that slls so good? I gotta go get a cup too."
Saying that, he left in large strides.
Isaac Vaughn sat across from Natalie Kendall.
"Business trip?" his voice was hoarse.
Natalie Kendall casually replied "Mm".
"When will you be back?"
Natalie Kendall didn’t answer, took a sip of coffee.
She didn’t feel it earlier, but for so reason this sip was so bitter that she couldn’t help but frown.
Isaac Vaughn seed to think she was annoyed by his question.

Natalie Kendall grabbed her bag and stood up.
"Oh, well, safe travels." Lucas Lowell mid a hug with Natalie Kendall, lightly patting her shoulder.
"Take good care of Mia."
"Of course." Lucas Lowell tilted his chin: "You too, take care out there. You might not like the food, don’t let yourself get too thin."
Natalie Kendall smiled.
Standing beside Lucas Lowell, Isaac Vaughn said in a low voice "Safe travels" before Natalie Kendall turned to leave.
As if he indeed just ca to see her off.
They stood in front of the airport glass watching the plane Natalie Kendall was on leave.
No longer visible.
Lucas Lowell tilted his head: "Let’s go."
He drove Isaac Vaughn back.
On the way, Isaac Vaughn was even more dejected than when he arrived.
He wasn’t looking outside anymore, resting his head on the headrest, arms covering his eyes.
Lucas Lowell at one point suspected he was secretly crying and ssaged Natalie Kendall about it.

Five months later.
Lucas Lowell was with the heavily pregnant Mia while video chatting with Natalie Kendall.
Natalie Kendall had cut her hair short, looking very neat and more like a strong woman.
"Nat, the gifts you sent for the baby, we received them, thank you, they’re all so cute."
Mia was eating cherries, while Lucas Lowell naturally caught the pits she spat out with his hand.
Natalie Kendall smiled lightly: "Glad you like them."
"Natalie Kendall, let tell you, there’s been so intriguing trouble recently in Janton, Second Master Vaughn and his elder brother..."
Lucas Lowell hadn’t finished speaking when Mia interrupted him.
