Inside the villa.

Sarah hesitated for a long ti under the surveillance caras, but still brought bread and water into the room.

"Young Master Vaughn, I’m here."

She quickly walked over to Isaac, carefully supporting him, "Young Master Vaughn, how are you feeling?"

Isaac was suffering from dehydration at that mont, so Sarah’s water ca just in ti.

Noticing his dry, chapped lips, Sarah hurriedly twisted open the water and fed it to him.

Isaac drank hurriedly, and so water trickled down his chin.

Sarah, telling him to slow down and not choke, instinctively reached up to help him wipe it off.

When her hand touched his chin, a wave of blushing embarrassnt crashed over her, making her fingertips tremble.

Isaac was focused on drinking water; as soon as he realized how intimate their posture was, he imdiately turned his head away and hoarsely thanked her.

Sarah hastily withdrew her hand, her face flushing and then turning pale.

At this mont, the sound of a car suddenly ca from outside.

Sarah, startled like a frightened deer, quickly stood up and walked to the window.

"Young Master Vaughn, Mr. Grant is back!"

"Mm, you’d better go out now."

"The bread!" Sarah anxiously tried to rip open the bread’s wrapping, "You haven’t eaten yet!"

"No need, I can hold on. Just go." Isaac knew she must have disobeyed his uncle’s orders by coming to bring him water.

His uncle wanted to torture him, so he cut off his food and water.

Sarah bit her lip, but her fear of Jason Grant ultimately stopped her from staying any longer.

First floor living room.

Jason Grant, assisted by his driver, slumped drunkenly onto the sofa. The dryness in his mouth made him irritable, and he shouted, "Sarah!"

Sarah responded quickly, "Mr. Grant, I’m here."

Jason, though he had drunk plenty, was not confused.

When Sarah ca closer, he grabbed her by the hair: "What? You went upstairs to see Isaac again?"

She had just co down from upstairs.

"Mr. Grant..." Sarah pleaded pitifully.

Jason showed no rcy: "Tell , aren’t you just filthy?"

He slapped Sarah’s face, then suddenly grabbed her throat, forcing her head onto his lap.

"Do as you see fit."

Tears stread down Sarah’s face uncontrollably.

With a loud slap, Jason violently struck her across the cheek.

"Stop pretending to be so chaste martyr! Hurry the hell up! Or else we’ll go upstairs and do it right in front of Isaac!"

"No! No!" Sarah was terrified to the extre.

If it really ca to that, she’d rather die.

Shaking with humiliation, she got up from Jason’s lap and knelt on the floor.

Outside the villa.

Natalie’s car was parked in the shadows.

She was about to dial a number when the other party’s call ca in first.

"Nat, I’m sorry for calling so late, but has Isaac gotten in touch with you?" Vanessa Grant’s voice was anxious. "I can’t reach him."

Natalie looked toward the villa, gripping her phone tightly, her voice calm: "Aunt Vanya, I’m not sure either."

"But I suspect Isaac might have been put under house arrest by Jason Grant."

"What?!" Vanessa was shocked. "Jason put Isaac under house arrest? Impossible! Jason was supposed to be sent away for detox..."

She suddenly stopped talking.

Had sothing gone wrong?

Natalie said, "I ran into Jason Grant tonight. He was holding Isaac’s watch. I followed his car to this villa outside the city—maybe Isaac is here."

"Nat, are you saying you’re outside the villa right now?"

"Yes."

"Nat, Isaac’s father and I will head over imdiately! Stay in your car, whatever you do, don’t get out! Jason, I’m afraid if he’s agitated he’ll hurt you! We’re coming! Right away!"

*

Jason Grant let out a heavy breath, shoved Sarah aside like tossing away a rag doll.

Sarah’s face was sared with tears and filth, her eyes swollen horribly red.

Suddenly, a bodyguard hurried in to report, "Mr. Grant, it looks like there’s a stranger outside."

Jason’s expression darkened. He got up and strode out.
