"Damn it, fucking damn it", Big One cursed as he smashed the items around him.
Just three hours ago, he heard about the news that the Supre was going to take action against the alliance team that was sent to find those ruins.
The original plan was to let the spy learn about the ruins, and when the alliance ca to know about that information, then they would send a few powerhouses, especially when the cults added that the Supre would take action soon there.
As the cults guessed and hoped, the alliance did send a lot of Rank-6 and above professionals. There were even Rank-9 powerhouses, though they stand in the early levels mostly.
After wasting over a month’s ti, they found an entrance to the ruins, well, one of the ruins.
The Cult found that the ruins can be entered through multiple paths. What they found was one of those paths, and going through the path was not easy. A few died on that journey to enter the ruins.
The Cult didn’t find any dead bodies of the previous explorers, and from what little they found, they knew that those first explorers might have taken one of the other entrances that were noted and perished.
So, they didn’t look for any more entrances, but secured what they found.
If not for the fact that they failed spectacularly, losing a lot of professionals, they might not have allowed the leak about the ruins. Not only were they able to waste valuable ti of the alliance professionals, they were also able to divert a small amount of alliance power away.
It was a win situation, no matter how one looks at it.
It was because they were sure that the alliance wouldn’t be able to ta the power inside. First, they have to cross the hurdles in between before they co across the power.
Also, they knew that the Supre would take action, once it was known that the alliance found anything substantial regarding the ruins, wasting both ti, effort and professionals of the alliance.
If any reinforcents appear, for the Supre, that won’t matter much and can easily deal with them, or at least that was the plan.
Three hours ago, he got news that the Supre had acted and attacked the Alliance Expedition team of seventy-plus.
It made Big One happy. He also passed the information to the other four. They all were hoping that they would get so good news soon, but what he got was not good news, but bad news.
The alliance team sohow captured the Supre.
No one understood how they were able to do that, especially because the supre was supposed to be at the peak of Rank-9, while none in the alliance team were even close to that rank.
Though there was a partial good news that most of the alliance team were either dead or critically injured, but with the supre had been caught by the alliance, that partly good news didn’t enter their minds at all.
There are bigger thoughts on their minds, and they didn’t care about the small win at all, as with supre possibly gone forever, it might not be considered as a win in the end.

Within half an hour, the other four arrived at the underground base.
They were present in the capital, just to be sure if anything out of their thinking happens, and it did.
"What the hell happened?" Big Three entered the room while shouting loudly.
The others arrived as well, similarly, but Big One didn’t say anything against that.
Normally, he would have caused a ruckus if they ca like that, but today’s scenario that they found themselves in, he couldn’t care about such a small matter.
Big One sighed as he handed them the full details of what had happened to them.
"I only knew the detail that a lot of alliance team mbers were dead and Supre was caught at the end, but even I don’t know much about what happened".
"If what the report says is true, then the battle started with Supre making his first move, which ended a few lives. Then the most powerful of the alliance mbers attacked directly, while the weaker ones activated a formation, sothing that weakened the Supre’s power while boosting the alliance mbers’ powers".
"Normally, that could have worked as a benefit for the alliance, but in front of the supre, that didn’t work. He was able to eliminate the alliance dogs easily. In fact, what our scouts reported was that the supre was playing with them. When they saw what was happening, they all thought that the supre would eliminate them easily, but no one saw what ca next".
"Supre faltered suddenly, weakened, even though the formation was almost gone. No one understood what happened. From the looks, even the alliance mbers had no idea, as the scouts didn’t approach the fallen supre. Only after slowly checking that the supre had in fact fallen unconscious, did they reach and imprison him", Big One explained what happened.
"Hmm, this is bad. If they have the supre, soone who has control over the entire cult, then the cult would be in danger. Every base, every mber, every resource storage, it was known to the supre", Big Two exclaid in horror.
"What Big Two said is true. Though I don’t think that the supre would spill and destroy everything that he built, there are ways to know what the supre knows without his cooperation", Big Four said in frustration, clearing thinking a way to escape what is to co.
"Yeah, we may have to run away from here and change ourselves if we want to survive what cos next", Big Five agreed.
"Wait, before that, you said that the supre suddenly fell and even the alliance was surprised by the fact, right?" Big Three asked suddenly.
"Yes, why?" Big One replied, though surprised why Big Three spoke about it.
"Think about it. There is sothing wrong with that situation", Big Three stated.
The others thought for a second, before frowns started to appear on their faces.
"Wait, don’t tell that...."
