The Day of Start of Tournant...Breakfast Ti...
"Okay, everyone, once the breakfast is done, we need to wait in the lobby for other teams as well, two teams to be precise. They, too, like us, would have five students and three staff mbers as chaperones".
"For the tournant, we have to travel a bit, and for that travel, the alliance provided us with travelling vans just like the ones that picked us up at the station. There is a lot of space in the van, and it can accommodate more than 24 passengers but fewer than 32. So, only three teams would join in a van".
"Also, all the best for the tournant and hope that you can bring us not just to the top five, but a bit higher than last year. Now, enjoy your breakfast", Lyanna ended her dialogue.
There was nothing much to say now. Whatever she wanted to say, she said it already. From now on, everything depends on them. There is nothing that she or the other two can do about it, except to make sure that there are no partial referees during the tournant.
The referees are also people. They, too, would have families and friends. It ans that not every ti they can be unbiased. If it involves soone they knew, there is no guarantee that they would stay unbiased.
In situations like that, the opposite person may be affected. These three have to make sure that their students wouldn’t have to suffer from situations such as those.

After breakfast, the group from Dusk Academy appeared in the lobby, where they took guest seats to wait for the others. Within fifteen minutes, the other two teams appeared as well.
Though they were staying in the sa hotel, each had their own plans, especially against Dusk Academy.
The two groups that are coming along with the Dusk Academy group belong to Mirth Academy and Valiant Academy. They were ranked in the top ten, and last ti, Valiant Academy even ranked sixth. That makes Dusk Academy their number one enemy in this tournant.
Though Mirth Academy was a bit far from the fifth rank, they are close to Valiant Academy, making them opponents of Dusk Academy as well.
There is another reason why Valiant Academy is against Dusk Academy. Valiant Academy mainly takes in students who have awakened Light Professions. Other students are mixed in as well, but they mainly concentrate on Light-based Professionals.
If not for the presence of Luminar Academy, which is also an academy that recruits Light-based professions and stands in third place, Valiant could have been the destination place for Light-based professionals, but it was not.
There were two reasons behind that.
One is that Luminar always stays in the top five, and the second reason is that it was established by one of the Human gods, and not just anyone. He was the second to beco a Human God.
Back then, there were no academies when the first Human God rose, not even the alliance. It only ca after the first human god rose in power. After the second one appeared, the alliance created academies to help the awakened grow perfectly.
At that ti, he created Luminar Academy, which beca the destination for many Light-based professionals, but as ti went on, they took only the talented ones.
The ones with less talent had to seek out seats in lower academies. There is nothing Valiant Academy can do regarding that, but what they can do now is improve their ranks, which would lead to them getting students with better talents.
So, to them, Dusk Academy, which was a rank above them, is the enemy. If it were another academy, they would have been treated more or less the sa.
As said before, Valiant Academy is established for Light-based professionals, while Dusk Academy is for Dark and Death-based professionals, which is the opposite of Light.
Light and Dark/Death are considered enemies, just like Fire and Water/Frost.
Though all humans, no matter their profession, are supposed to be working for the betternt of human society, there are always people who look down on other professions.
Most of the ti, combat professionals look down on creator professions, though it was known that, for better survivability in the wild, the products crafted by these creator professions were needed.
Smiths produce weapons and armour. Alchemists produce potions that can heal, improve prowess and bring many other improvents.
Without products from these classes, even if you awakened a top-rated class, it wouldn’t matter while facing a powerful monster, which can smash you in seconds.
The creations of these awakeners would help them survive the attacks and escape if the enemies are too powerful.
Even though that was the case, looking down on non-combat professionals didn’t disappear.
It was not just like this. Even among the combat professionals, there are differences. Everyone believes that their profession is the greatest and their elent is the most important and powerful one, even though every elent and profession are required in one way or another.
This enmity is even worse if their elents or professions are opposite to each other. This is sothing that no one was able to eradicate, and even if they do, that would be only for a short ti, as issues like these are ever prevalent.

"Okay, all three teams are here. Let’s go", a coordinator from the alliance ca to them and spoke.
The three teams followed him to a van, which would take them to the grounds where the tournant would take place.
As soon as everyone got onboard, the van started to move.
Even though it was quite early in the morning, it still took half an hour to reach their destination. It was lucky that the destination was also on the outside of the city, or else it would have taken them a bit longer.
The train station was on the south side, while the hotel that they stayed at was on the west side, and their destination was on the North side, where the Staton Mountains are present and also the two academies of the capital.
