Leinster felt uneasy sowhere deep in his heart.
It was as if they were frogs being boiled in warm water, unaware of their demise.
This ruin gave him exactly that feeling.
Leinster told Oton Lover about his speculation and Oton Lover shuddered, her face turning pale.
"T-then what to do? Does this ruin have a deadline or sothing? Maybe we actually have to clear the Ruin before a certain ti..."
If that’s the case, it would be the worst.
Leinster didn’t deny this possibility but their priority was still to evade the pursuers and find clues about the guardian deity.
They only have this little ti to think about the clues, so Leinster quickly told Oton Lover about his conspiracy theory.
"I think the shops in this mall are the keys to finding the guardian spirit."
Each store had a strange rule and they tried to harm the challengers, turning them into products for the ghosts to buy.
Since all they could do in the mall was to shop for goods, the clues must lie within the goods or the store.

Oton Lover imdiately lanted a few tis before she saw Leinster’s lips slowly rising all the way to his ears.

Her heart skipped a beat, but not with love.
It was a bad premonition.

They really didn’t steal the clothes, right? The shopkeeper didn’t react at all.
Leinster wagged his imaginary devil tail as he whispered to Oton Lover whose face slowly turned even paler than before.
"Y-you! You’re insane!" Oton Lover stood up abruptly and almost shouted at Leinster.
"No, no, it’s entirely plausible. We just need to observe, and...hehehe."
Oton Lover saw Leinster’s scheming face and knew that he had made up his mind.
She could only count her stocks of oil and grumbled.
"After all the commotion before, we only have one oil can each."
Next, they had to genuinely buy another product to get free oils.

Leinster slowly stood up and walked back...
Towards the clothing store.

Leinster and Oton Lover held their breaths, hiding in the gap between the stores, their lamps tucked beneath their clothes, only emitting an extrely dim light.

Then, Leinster spotted a lone custor— a male.
This one was limping, but it walked fast, looking extrely disturbing.
The most eye-catching thing was his clothes— it looked brand new.
Leinster’s eyes instantly lit up.

Oton Lover clutched her oil lamp tightly as she watched Leinster manipulate his chains.
His black chains slithered in silence, like a poisonous snake hunting for prey.
The target, the limping male ghost, didn’t notice the chains at all.
He just kept walking stiffly, looking for another prey while the Bounty Event was still on-going.
Behind the ghost, the chains sneaked into the male ghost’s simple t-shirt and then....
Grabbed the ghost’s wrists.

The male ghost felt sothing, but the chains moved so swiftly that by the ti he noticed sothing wrong, his hands were already pulled up and his t-shirt was smoothly taken out of his body.

The ghost felt so humiliated that its grey skin turned crimson red but then, he watched as the t-shirt slowly floated away towards a dark place.
And then, the chains ca back!
This ti, they restrained the ghost’s legs, instantly pulling down his pants.

The ghost felt that he was about to faint.
At the sa ti, Leinster was thrilled as he stuffed the two clothes onto the shopping bag, not knowing that a person stood at the corridor on the other side, separated by the empty place in the middle.
The person compared the floating bounty picture and the one across their place.
After making sure that the target was right, a cold smile flashed on the person’s expressionless face.
A familiar scythe glead sharply in the dark.
Ha. The number one criminal.
