Tobao calmed down.
-Amitabha... You did awaken your Intent before reaching the Region God Realm, so I will simply think of this as the same kind of phenomenon. Flying before the Zone God Realm... Alright. I think I can accept it...-
Arcis, however, wasn’t nearly as willing to let it go.
-You kidding? There is definitely something strange going on here! More than Intents, being able to fly this early would cause an even bigger motion. And yet...-
Roan already knew what Arcis meant.
’It isn’t exactly something we can hide. If the situation demands it, we will fly to gain an advantage. At that point, anyone watching will immediately realize we can do it. In fact, we need to fly to adapt to the conditions of the Celestial Plane.’
Arcis nodded.
-Yeah, that’s another problem. Still, I’m more curious about why you can do it in the first place.-
’I can’t answer that,’ Roan replied.
Neither Arcis nor Tobao believed him pletely. In fact, Roan sounded less like someone who didn’t know the answer and more like someone who knew perfectly well but simply couldn’t speak about it.
-So you can’t tell us, huh?- Arcis asked.
’Interpret it however you want,’ Roan answered. ’Let’s just say... that if I knew the reason, it would still be something no one else could replicate.’
He paused briefly before continuing.
’In any case, I only contacted you to give you a heads-up before this bees public.’
The two Law Gods accepted that explanation much more readily.
If the twins’ group had discovered a method that anyone could learn, then after countless years of cultivation history, someone else should have stumbled upon it already. Since no one ever had, the most reasonable conclusion was that whatever made the four different was something unique to them... or perhaps to the Great Void they came from.
-Alright. Then there is no point pretending nothing is happening from the very beginning,- Tobao said.
-Wait!- Arcis immediately interrupted. -How exactly are you planning to explain this? Flying at the Aura God Realm... everyone will want an answer, especially after they already witnessed the four of them using Intent before the Region God Realm.-
Tobao remained silent for a moment before shaking his head.
-Amitabha... There is no point trying to explain something even we don’t understand. We will simply report the facts. They possess no measurable aptitude, yet they can use Intent before the Region God Realm and fly before the Zone God Realm. Those are facts no one can deny.-
He then looked directly at Roan through the munication screen.
-As for the reason... our official conclusion will simply be that it is most likely related to your Vinx Great Void. There are no previous records anywhere in the Besgol Region of cultivators ascending from that Great Void. For all we know, its laws may differ from every other Great Void connected to the Celestial Plane.-
Arcis rubbed his forehead.
-That still sounds like we’re making excuses.-
-We are,- Tobao admitted without hesitation. -But it is also the only explanation supported by the information we currently possess. Until another cultivator ascends from the Vinx Great Void, no one can prove us wrong... nor can anyone prove us right. That alone is enough for the explanation to stand.-
Roan narrowed his eyes.
’You do know everyone will think that sounds pretty convenient, don’t you?’
-Of course they will,- Tobao replied calmly. -However, there isn’t a better answer. We cannot claim the Celestial Plane itself is treating you differently because we have no way to verify such a thing. On the other hand, your Great Void is a plete unknown. It is the only variable no one here understands.-
Arcis thought about it for a few moments before slowly nodding.
-Now that you put it that way... it is actually much easier to accept. They already awakened Intent long before they should have. Flying early is simply another abnormality pointing toward the same conclusion. Their cultivation clearly doesn’t follow the same rules as everyone else’s.-
-Exactly,- Tobao agreed. -If someone insists on asking how they do it, the answer is simple: we don’t know. We only know they came from a Great Void unlike any we have records of. Unless someone somehow brings another Vinx Great Void ascender here for parison, the discussion ends there.-
Roan considered the explanation for a moment before giving a slight nod.
’That should be enough. At least it won’t raise as many questions as claiming the Celestial Plane is somehow pensating for our lack of aptitude.’
-Amitabha... Then it is settled,- Tobao concluded. -If this matter ever bees public, that will be the official explanation given by the Besgol Region.-
Both explanations shared the same fundamental issue.
How could anyone prove that the Celestial Plane itself had somehow relaxed its restrictions on the twins’ group? They couldn’t. There wasn’t any artifact or array capable of measuring whether the Celestial Plane’s natural restrictions were functioning properly.
Likewise, no one could prove that those abnormalities came from the Vinx Great Void itself. To verify such a claim, they would need another ascender from that same Great Void for parison... yet none existed. The twins’ group were the very first cultivators known to have ascended from the Vinx Great Void, and no one in this part of the Celestial Plane had any means of returning to the Great Voids to investigate the matter further.
For that very reason, neither explanation could ever be confirmed... but neither could they be disproved. In the end, that was more than enough. It gave the Besgol Region an official answer while ensuring the true secrets behind the twins’ group remained hidden. Secrets that Tobao and Arcis didn’t know themselves.
Now, why would they go that far to help the twins? That answer was a lot easier to explain. They are real Law Gods that care for the region they live in. For them, the twins’ group could bee great prospects that will help plenty in the future. They already had. So, why would they create problems? What all regions need the most are strength, especially individual ones like Law Gods or those who can get to that realm.
’That is helpful. I’m going to end the call now,’ Roan said.
-Wait...- Arcis noticed something at that very moment.
Tobao and Roan waited for his words.
-Roan... we have been talking for a few minutes already, haven’t we?-
’So?’ Roan asked back.
-You are still in the air...-
Roan looked below, and sure enough, he hadn’t landed since he showed he could fly. ’Tch...’
