Chapter 366: 366, Danger, Here it Cos

Despite it being his day off, where he could be lazing in bed, Shi Yuhuan woke up early.

Unexpected developnts; Liu Yuandong called Shi Yuhuan, reporting a crisis at Wancheng Enterprises, a firm closely linked to Tis Group’s business.

Wancheng Enterprises was suddenly reported and exposed, it was said a portion of their industries were illegal operations hidden from the spotlight.

The evidence provided by the whistle-blower was extensive and specific, the companies under Wancheng Enterprises were all suddenly shut down by financial, taxation, and comrcial investigations.

Simultaneously, several companies that had business relations with Wancheng Enterprises were all investigated, among them, Tis Group.

This was initially a trivial matter as the Tis Group is a legitimate business without any illicit operations, so they weren’t afraid of investigations.

However, when Liu Yuandong did so digging, he found that Tis Group might indeed be implicated by Wancheng. Several transactions were problematic, he urgently tried to iron out the records before any investigation.

The money that Yan Pingdan embezzled was also related to Wancheng.

All these incidents told Shi Yuhuan that the company’s financial statents seed fine on the surface, but soone was manipulating them behind the scenes.

Shi Yuhuan had already discovered this after Yan Pingdan’s disappearance.

But neither he nor Li Chengyun, the owner of Tis Group, could trace the person responsible.

If it hadn’t been for Song Qinghuan stepping in, they might not have been able to find anything at all, such was the perpetrator’s skill at hiding.

After investigating within Tis Group for a year, Song Qinghuan had found many leads, but each one was quickly severed as soon as it was surfaced.

The enemy was ruthless, leaving no gaps to investigate.

This left Shi Yuhuan and Li Chengyun at a loss, but they also understood how powerful the opponent was.

Despite both Shi Yuhuan and Li Chengyun being incredibly skilled individuals, the fact they couldn’t find any flaws indicated it might be an inside job.

So, early in the morning, Shi Yuhuan reluctantly rose from his bed.

However, he didn’t go to the office, but to a villa in the countryside. Liu Yuandong, Chen Tian and Xia Yang were all there, and inside the living room was a large black screen displaying a mix of data and random code.

Liu Yuandong sat in front of the computer, seemingly deciphering programs or tracing leads.

Liu Yuandong was a renowned hacker when working with Shi Yuhuan at Wall Street, normally able to trace any lead within minutes.

Yet now, half an hour later, he still appeared to be tracing sothing.

With his anxious temperant, Xia Yang couldn’t help but ask, “Yuandong, it’s almost been half a month. Why isn’t it done yet?”

Liu Yuandong’s face tightened, “It’s complicated!”

Unable to hold back, Chen Tian asked softly, “How much longer?”

Liu Yuandong frowned yet again, but remained silent, his fingers now tapping even faster on the keyboard.

Only Shi Yuhuan was relaxed and casual as ever, elegantly sitting with his legs crossed, nonchalantly leaning on the sofa.

A stark contrast to the tension in the room.

Ti ticked by in the quiet room until Liu Yuandong finally yelled, “Done!”

Chen Tian and Xia Yang leapt to their feet in excitent, but Shi Yuhuan remained in the sa position, only shifting his calm gaze towards the big screen.

As Liu Yuandong opened one file after another, Shi Yuhuan saw the investigation data from Song Qinghuan.

Xia Yang blurted out in surprise, “This person only reported Wancheng. Why do they have such detailed information about Mrs. Song? And why is it so thorough?”
