Song Qinghuan tilted her head up, trying to discern Shi Yuhuan’s expression, but all in vain.
She blinked, only to realize that her vision had blurred.
His back was noticeably moist. Though he had always been good at keeping his emotions in check, even now in his impassiveness, he looked at the crying Song Qinghuan helplessly, “Why are you crying? I’m not crying, am I?”
Song Qinghuan sobbed, releasing her grip on him and wiping her tears, “You must have cried back then!”
“No, I didn’t.” Shi Yuhuan replied without hesitation.
Song Qinghuan didn’t believe him, “Impossible, you were so helpless and desperate. How could you not cry, you were just ten then.”
“No, I didn’t shed a single tear.” Shi Yuhuan insisted, rubbing her head gently, “Don’t cry anymore, I don’t like seeing you cry.”
“Do you only like it when I smile?” Song Qinghuan asked gently.
“Yes!” Shi Yuhuan’s deep eyes slightly downcast.
“What if I don’t smile for a day, or two days, or three days, or even one whole month, you wouldn’t like
then?” Song Qinghuan instinctively asked, her heart pounding fast after.
My God, she was indirectly questioning Shi Yuhuan’s feelings for her, sothing she would never dare to do if she had thought it through.
Shi Yuhuan looked at her aningfully, then flatly replied, “If you don’t smile for a day, I will keep you bedridden for a day and night. If you don’t smile for two days, I will keep you bedridden for two days and nights. If you don’t smile for three days, I will keep you bedridden for three days and nights, and so on for a month!”
As he said this, his expression was indifferent, a hint of seriousness showing, as if he was dead serious.
Wait, this wasn’t a flirtation gesture, then what was it?
“Shi Yuhuan…you… I…” Song Qinghuan choked up, montarly choked on her own saliva, “Can’t you think of sothing else other than sharing a bed, Shi Yuhuan?”
Shi Yuhuan raised his hand, gently patting Song Qinghuan’s back, “Choked again, didn’t I let you finish speaking? Which ‘it’ did I think of? Not allowing you to get out of bed ans I would tie you to the bed. What dirty thoughts are you thinking of again?”
His expression still showed no change, his eyes indifferent, devoid of mischief or charm.
Song Qinghuan imdiately blushed, “Pfth, I…”
Shi Yuhuan suddenly leaned in, his breath as fragrant as orchids by her ear, his voice low and husky, “What is it, you don’t want to be tied to the bed? If you want another way to stay bedridden, I can also agree to that. Although it may be tiring, I have more than enough energy for a little mischief.”
A warm, soft tingling lingered in her ear.
Song Qinghuan froze, biting her lip for a mont before finally managing to stutter out his na, sounding sowhat irritated, “Shi Yuhuan!”
Shi Yuhuan suddenly covered her mouth, his kiss gentle but assertive, as if taking a stronghold.
Song Qinghuan was slightly stunned, raising her hands to his shoulders in confusion, then slowly wrapping them around his neck, passionately reciprocating the kiss.
After the kiss ended, Shi Yuhuan carried on as if nothing happened; however, this was not the case for Song Qinghuan. His kiss had left her weak and breathless, only able to lean against him as she gathered her breath.
