Chapter 231: 231. Feeding, His concern and protection.

Song Qinghuan took the bowls and walked out, filled two bowls of soup, and placed one in front of Shi Yuhuan.

Shi Yuhuan, however, was utterly unperturbed, and commanded dominantly, “Feed !”

Song Qinghuan, who was in the middle of sipping her soup, was taken aback and choked slightly.

“What did you say?” She couldn’t help but glare at him, sowhat incredulous.

Shi Yuhuan leaned back leisurely against the dining chair, displaying a completely unruffled expression, his slender, ten fingers twirling on the table, also dusted with the salt Song Qinghuan had spilled earlier.

Song Qinghuan felt extrely embarrassed, longing to crawl into a corner in misery.

She’d like to ignore Shi Yuhuan, but his stern face across the dining table was a real appetite killer.

Looking up at him, unresponsive for a while, just sitting there quietly, he projected a frosty deanor, as if saying, “If you don’t feed , I definitely won’t eat.”

Song Qinghuan was quite helpless, so she picked up her spoon, scooped up a spoonful of soup, and carefully brought it toward Shi Yuhuan’s mouth.

A faint smile suddenly appeared at the corner of Shi Yuhuan’s mouth, rippling like clear waves in water, his eyes deep and captivating.

Song Qinghuan was montarily stupefied. Damn, a grown man shouldn’t laugh that attractively.

Certainly not accustod to it; Shi Yuhuan really shouldn’t smile.

As she stared at Shi Yuhuan, he had already taken a sip of soup from the spoon she held.

Song Qinghuan quickly scooped up a second spoonful, then a third…

For a long ti, in the quiet room, only the subtle sound of bowls and chopsticks clinking could be heard.

Song Qinghuan felt that taking care of a “disabled person” was genuinely taxing; even a simple al seed like a full-scale battle.

Usually, he finished just one bowl of rice, but today, perhaps because he skipped breakfast, he ate one bowl after another, demanding one more each ti.

After three bowls of rice, Song Qinghuan’s spoon-feeding hand was sore.

Finally, after he finished eating, she could start her own al, yet the dishes had already gone cold.

There was no choice but to make do.

After dinner, as Song Qinghuan cleared the table, Shi Yuhuan stood up to help carry the bowls and chopsticks to the kitchen.

That he could still manage to help her out even though he was injured genuinely surprised Song Qinghuan.

Turning on the water heater, Song Qinghuan started washing the dishes, with Shi Yuhuan silently standing by her side.

Song Qinghuan looked at him, perplexed, “What’s up? Is there sothing you need?”

“I have to leave, Zishi will co to keep you company.” Having said that, Shi Yuhuan turned around and left.

A faint flush crossed his face, not escaping Song Qinghuan’s eyes.

Song Qinghuan couldn’t help but chuckle. My God, why was Shi Yuhuan blushing just because he asked Zishi to accompany her? It was so strange.

Shaking her head, she felt both amused and a sense of warmth in her heart.

Could it be that this was the first ti he had used words to show concern and protect soone, so he was shy?!

After Shi Yuhuan left, Zishi stayed with Song Qinghuan.

The night wore on, and Shi Yuhuan did not return. Song Qinghuan didn’t go to sleep in the villa out back, as she didn’t have the keys for it.

She had no idea how busy Shi Yuhuan was, and felt as though she’d been waiting for a very long ti, but he didn’t show up.

She feared disturbing him in case he was busy, but she didn’t dare to go upstairs to sleep, so she ended up sleeping in the living room, with Zishi lying nearby. With Zishi there, she felt secure, just as if Shi Yuhuan was by her side.

However, when she woke up the next day, she found herself lying in the master bed in the villa.

And Shi Yuhuan was right beside her.
