Chapter 196: 196, Seeing each other, but as strangers

By the ti Song Qinghuan woke up again, she was lying in her own bed.

She blankly stared at the ceiling for a while, as if only then rembering everything that happened before she fell unconscious.

Exhausted, she closed her eyes and pulled the blanket over herself, tears welling up instantly.

Her head hurt, so did her heart. At that mont, she despised Shi Yuhuan, resented his kindness, his gentleness towards her, and even more so, the mobile phone he gave her.

She didn’t want to use that phone again, even if she didn’t have a phone, she wouldn’t use it.

That morning, she and Zhao Jingnan took a leave of absence, only erging from her room when she felt that Shi Yuhuan had finished his breakfast and left.

She grabbed her purse and a couple of changes of clothes, then headed straight to i Jun’s house, declaring that she missed her and planned to stay for a few days.

i Jun clearly noticed that sothing was off with her, but didn’t say anything. Having known Song Qinghuan for so long, she understood her personality. If there were things Song Qinghuan wanted to say, she would do so without being asked. If there were things she didn’t want to discuss, no amount of asking would make her share.

Staying at i Jun’s place for a few days, she never saw Shi Yuhuan again and he never sought her out. Whether or not she went ho was of no concern to her anymore.

Song Qinghuan no longer wanted to live so close to Shi Yuhuan. She asked i Jun to help her find a new place. If possible, she wanted to move away from the villa.

But after searching for several days, she found no suitable place.

Eventually, i Jun decided to move into her boyfriend’s house, leaving her rental place for Song Qinghuan.

Days passed, and Song Qinghuan still hadn’t returned to the villa, and Shi Yuhuan never tried to track her down.

However, during this ti, she ran into Shi Yuhuan once, inside the company.

There were four or five people, all clad in suits and radiating charm. Shi Yuhuan was leading the group, looking like the moon among the stars, his handso features, extraordinary aura, a man of such caliber was the eye-catching center of the group.

At that ti, she was holding a thick stack of docunts, waiting for the elevator with Yu Yang, with him and his group standing not far from her.

When the elevator arrived, she and Yu Yang instinctively stepped back, leaving the elevator for them.

However, there was still room in the elevator. Yu Yang stepped in, and Song Qinghuan was left hesitating outside, debating if she should wait for another elevator. Yu Yang glared at her impatiently: “Erhuan, would you hurry up?”

As ti passed, the relationship between Yu Yang and Song Qinghuan improved.

She always said that Song Qinghuan was a bit silly sotis, so she had started calling her Erhuan.

Song Qinghuan pursed her lips and didn’t utter a word as she stepped into the elevator.

There were only about six or seven people in the elevator, and everyone stood against the walls, leaving the most space for Shi Yuhuan.

As Song Qinghuan was the last to enter, she had to stand at the front, with her back to him and near the door.

There was quite a distance between them, so it didn’t seem inappropriate.

The elevator stopped on the 20th floor, letting in two or three more people which pushed her further inside.

She subconsciously stepped back, her back touched a hot chest, and Song Qinghuan’s body imdiately tensed up, her heart racing.

She awkwardly tried to push forward, trying to put as much distance between them as possible, but she could still feel his breath on the back of her neck.

Finally, they reached the 60th floor, Song Qinghuan felt as if her body was numb, she practically ran to escape the elevator.
