She took a big bite of her al, then sighed: “I really miss the tis when Director Yan was around.”
Song Qinghuan, slightly shocked, remarked teasingly: “Director Yan? You an the director who made the news a while ago?”
Li Wei nodded: “Yes, him.”
Song Qinghuan feigned surprise: “The whole incident was quite sensational. He embezzled the company’s money, and yet you surprisingly still think he was good.”
“No, Director Yan isn’t that kind of person. He…” Li Wei almost said sothing out of line but caught herself just in ti and abruptly stopped.
She chuckled, talking as she ate: “Forget it, it’s best not to ntion him in the company. It doesn’t benefit any of us. I need to quickly finish my al and get back to work to complete my tasks, otherwise, when the old maid arrives, I’ll suffer.”
Song Qinghuan didn’t press for more and simply smiled and nodded, giving a noncommittal “Hmm”.
A thought suddenly sprang into her mind. She looked at Li Wei and offered: “Do you want my help? I’m usually just playing gas during lunchti anyway. If there’s anything I can do to help you in the finance departnt, let
know?”
Li Wei was overjoyed: “Really? If you could help , that would be great! I would love that. I have over ten pages of data to photocopy later. If you help
with that, it would lighten my workload by half.”
