The black panther’s twisted, skeletal thin body now laid at their feet, its head twisted at an unnatural angle as black blood fell onto the cracked zoo sidewalk. Without a mont’s hesitation, Raven knelt down beside the panther and touched the body. In an instant, the corpse vanished into her system space, leaving only a faint bloody scent lingering in the cold winter air after the body disappeared.

Raven stood back up as her erald eyes looked at Alara’s blue eyes with pride. “We will keep the body for now. When we get back to Sanctuary, I will build a new museum wing dedicated to your achievents attached to the house. Your kill will be the first exhibit displayed there,” Raven said, her voice carrying an icy softness that sohow always felt more intimate than warmth.

Alara moved her head as her blonde hair brushed over the collar of her pink tank top. Her blue eyes narrowed slightly, and her lips parted with a hint of curiosity. “Isn’t that kind of behavior a Yandere move? Like in those shows, you made watch where the an obsessed woman creates a whole cult around her girlfriend.” Alara's tone of voice was casual, but a mischievous light danced across her eyes as she shifted her rifle across in her hands.

Raven’s eyes widened in shock, her breath catching in her throat for a second as she swung her head back asking. “Wait… you actually paid attention to that show? We watched it before your evolution?” The shock of Alara’s words showed on Raven’s face before she composed herself, clearing her throat with an awkward sound of guilt. “Never mind that, Alara! I would never do sothing as cringe as creating a cult of followers around you. Cults share their idols with others, and I would never share you with anyone. Besides,” Raven paused, leaning forward slightly, as her voice dropped to a low, whisper, “If you want, I could always build you a mindless army of robot followers instead.”

Alara’s cheeks flushed red instantly, the pink tint creeping down her pale flawless neck as she took her hand off her AK-203 and smacked Raven’s shoulder with a light, embarrassed slap. Her fingers trembled slightly as she drew them back, her brows furrowing into an embarrassed frown. “You’re such a romantic Raven! Only you would think to create an endless army of mindless robots to carry out my every order without rcy or concern for others.” Her words ca out harsh but softened by the end of her statent, barely concealing the laughter hiding in her tone of voice.

Raven’s chest rose subtly in satisfaction. Her eyes softening, as they lingered on Alara’s face. Inwardly, she felt a sense of satisfaction. As she successfully diverted Alara’s attention away from the exhibition of her first kill. With the promise of an endless hoard of machines to serve her every whim. Raven’s mind filled up with future plans now that she could freely build a museum to catalog every step of Alara’s evolution. All it cost her is the promise of a few disposable robotic pawns, sothing she can build in a few hours ti.

Alara shifted her feet, lowering her rifle slightly as her gaze swept over Raven’s body, her eyes softening with an affectionate appreciation. In her mind, Alara marveled at Raven’s dedication, thinking to herself, "What a devoted girlfriend…" Yet Alara had no real idea of just how deep Raven’s obsession with her truly went, how it bordered's on sothing monstrous and possessive, shaped by her own severe emotional damage that runs so deep it's more of wound than emotional scaring.

Raven’s inner thoughts echoed in her mind. "Soone like can never simply love soone. I claim them, possess them, and guard them endlessly. Her fingers flexed around her rifle grip as she watched Alara, her expression montarily distant before it softened again, her own expression returning to normal.

With the awkward mont over, they began to walk deeper into the zoo. Raven nodded once at Alara, gesturing silently for her to take point. Alara straightened, her posture as she stepped ahead of Raven, her fingers flexed lightly around her rifle’s trigger.

They moved in tandem with each other, each breath in sync. Raven’s eyes moved from Alara to the shifting shadows among the ruined animal exhibits. A sudden quiet fell over them as they rounded a corner. There, walking slowly across the cracked path, was a human zombie. Her skin sagged in colorless folds, with bits of hair sticking out in matted clumps on her head, her eyes were hollow and looking for food.

Raven slowed her steps, her fingers hovering above the trigger of her rifle. Her gaze hardened, looking at Alara’s face and thinking to herself. "Will Alara hesitate? Will she see this zombie as one of her own? Or can she pull the trigger without hesitation?"

Alara’s pale fingers curled slightly tighter around her rifle as the zombie stumbled forward, oblivious to its impending doom.
