The morning air in Central Park was cold, the snow crunching beneath Raven’s boots as she walked with calm, deliberate steps through the ruined park. Her black crop top clung tightly to her chest, leaving her toned stomach and arms exposed to the chill. Tight jean shorts showed off her beautiful jade like legs, her skin remained unbothered by the cold.

Beside her, Alara moved quietly in contrast, wrapped in a fluffy pink down winter coat that looked almost comically out of place in the middle of an apocalypse. It was soft, warm, fluffy, and entirely impractical, but it suited her well.

As they continued toward the Central Park Zoo, Raven’s eyes moved towards the display in her mind. Her flying drones swept the area ahead using thermal imaging, and imdiately detected multiple sniper nests hidden in the trees ahead of them. The Yellow Fish Raiders haven't given up. This ti, though, Raven is ready to test her new drone.

She gave a silent ntal command to the system.

Out of her system space, a quiet spider-shaped drone materialized in front of them. It stands around two and a half feet tall, with a sleek tal body that was thin in the legs and with a large central body. After a mont, the spider drone disappeared using its optical camouflage. Alara tilted her head, intrigued. Their ntal link showed Alara's curiosity as Raven sent it a command.

Show what you can do.

The spider drone responded instantly. Its body bent low to the ground, and then eight chanical legs carried it forward—completely invisible to the naked eye, undetectable to infrared imaging, and as silent as the falling snow. It is a true stealth unit built for one thing ambush and covert elimination.

It approached the first sniper nest—one raider in a tree, three more hiding at the base as backup. From its belly, the drone deployed four miniature spiders, each the size of a fingernail. They hit the dirt and moved towards their targets, climbing up their pant legs and jacket sleeves with barely a sound.

One crawled up the sniper’s back. The others latched onto the ground team. Seconds passed. Then a faint beeping started.

Four synchronized explosions ripped through the air quiet, and deadly. The sniper was blown out of the tree in a rain of blood and limbs, while the three ground guards were torn apart where they stood. Gore splashed across tree bark and snow like rain in a sumr wind.

Raven didn’t blink. She only nodded with pride and sent the drone ahead to its next target.

The next group of Yellow Fish Raiders moved in a group in the park. The spider drone launched a set of small tal stakes into the dirt ahead of the raiders’ path from its under belly. When the raiders stepped on them BOOM. Five bodies were blown into chunks by carefully planted pressure mines.

Blood and pieces of yellow leather coats rained down onto their path.

The spider drone moved on to the third group.

Another sniper squad. This ti, five mini-spiders erged and crept into position. Each climbed onto a different raider and bit into exposed skin. The poison was imdiate. Within monts, the raiders began convulsing, blood pouring from their eyes, ears, nose, and mouths. They collapsed to the ground, twitching, with dying gasps.

The mini-spiders detached from their dead bodies and returned, re-entering the drone’s main body for more poison.

From the edge of the field, Raven stood with her arms folded, her AK-47 slung casually on her shoulder. Alara stood beside her, her pink coat rustling softly as she shifted to keep close.

"Let them try that shit again Alara!" Raven said. Her tone was flat, but the anger simred just beneath. "Let them even look at you wrong again and they will die in an even more painful way.

The Yellow Fish Raiders made a fatal error. Their ambush tactics worked once—but now, Raven had counterasures. The spider drone’s efficiency was clear. From stealth attacks to landmines to lethal poisons, it handled every situation without hesitation.

With the snipers and their crews eliminated, the path to the Central Park Zoo is now clear.
