Fang Che raced through the night in a wraith-like fashion, traveling toward the Hundred Miasma Peak.

It was ti to pick up the Golden Horn Flood Dragon.

At his current speed, he was able to get there very quickly, and he deposited everything that he didn't need into the Thousand Poison Scourge's cave abode to free up so space in his luggage.

Yin Shengong was definitely going to be giving him so precious resources for this Parasite Ascension Project, so he had to ensure that there was space in his luggage.

The Thousand Poison Scourge's cave abode was extrely obscure, and over the past half-year, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon's powers had been significantly enhanced from the devouring all the soul energy of all of the deceased Su Clan warriors. As a result, it was able to nurture formidable hordes of poisonous and venomous creatures, and the entire area was crawling with poisonous vines.

Furthermore, Fang Che had sealed the entrance of the cave abode shut with a pile of massive rocks, transforming this place into his personal vault.

Never would the Thousand Poison Scourge have imagined that his cave abode would turn into the personal vault of his killer.

If he were to learn of this, he would most likely be so enraged that he would crawl out of his grave to confront Fang Che.

The Golden Horn Flood Dragon was racing back and forth joyfully through the air at Fang Che's return.

Fang Che extended a hand forward with a faint smile, and the piece of divine tal appeared in his grasp.

"See if you can get in here."

The Golden Horn Flood Dragon imdiately did as it was told, flying into the divine tal without encountering any impedint.

Fang Che's spirit sense followed it inside.

The little fairy was in the middle of a blissful nap when the Golden Horn Flood Dragon barged into its territory as a ball of light.

The little fairy instantly awakened, then sealed the entire space, immobilizing the Golden Horn Flood Dragon.

Imdiately thereafter, the little fairy pounced on the Golden Horn Flood Dragon, and its mouth opened up to an extraordinary degree, threatening to devour the Golden Horn Flood Dragon whole.

Essential spirits like these were not to be ssed with on their ho turf. It had resided in this piece of divine tal for tens of thousands of years, and it would've t its demise long ago if it couldn't defend itself.

Right as the helpless Golden Horn Flood Dragon was about to be devoured, Fang Che's spirit sense arrived.

"Stop!" he hurriedly yelled.

The sharp fangs that the little fairy had manifested drew to an abrupt halt re inches away from the Golden Horn Flood Dragon's head.

Fang Che's spirit sense hurriedly drifted over and explained, "I've found you a friend!"

The little fairy: "???"

"Aren't you lonely in here all by yourself? I can't be with you all the ti because I have to fight, study, and cultivate, so I found you a friend. You two can play together when I can't be with you."

The little fairy undid the spatial seal in a hesitant manner, and the terrified Golden Horn Flood Dragon instantly darted behind Fang Che, where it cowered and trembled in fear.

These essential spirits were the natural bane of spirit bodies like the Golden Horn Flood Dragon, and if Fang Che hadn't intervened just in the nick of ti, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon would've been torn to shreds and devoured in seconds.

Fang Che was feeling very thankful that he had decided to follow the Golden Horn Flood Dragon in here. Otherwise, a true tragedy would've unfolded.

"Don't hide behind . You two are going to be friends for life, so co out and get familiar with each other."

Fang Che plucked the Golden Horn Flood Dragon out from behind him.

In this spirit sense space, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon was only a tiny snake around half the length of a chopstick, while the little fairy was even smaller.

Both of them were timidly sizing up one another, following which an intriguing scene began to unfold.

A ray of white light as thin as a strand of hair erged from the little fairy's head and began to inch its way forward.

An identical ray of white light erged from the Golden Horn Flood Dragon's head as well, and the two rays of white light slowly extended their way toward each other.

Finally, their tips ca into contact with one another, then twisted together into a braid before imdiately separating again.

After that, the two rays of white light began dancing erratically, and the two little spirits also began racing back and forth in the spirit sense space.

After a while, they began flying through the spirit sense space alongside each other, leaving Fang Che to gawk in astonishnt.

Are they making friends? This way of making friends is certainly... unique...

The two spirits were indeed befriending each other, but this was also a process to determine their hierarchy.

In the end, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon was naturally no match for the Golden Horn Flood Dragon, and it conceded its inferiority.

The little fairy put on a generous display, allowing the Golden Horn Flood Dragon to follow it as its underling.

Shortly thereafter, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon suddenly perked up in excitent, as if it had caught a whiff of sothing appealing, and it imdiately set off to investigate.

Before long, it stumbled upon the boundless wealth of baleful qi in Fang Che's consciousness.

The little fairy flew out of after the Golden Horn Flood Dragon, and the latter pounced onto the Formless Divine Jade, then began greedily devouring baleful qi.

In contrast, the little fairy had no interest in baleful qi, and it quickly went back.

After devouring as much baleful qi as it could, the Golden Horn Flood Dragon returned to the space within the divine tal to digest its al, and part of its digested residual baleful qi lingered in the divine tal.

The little fairy was clearly not very happy with this, but with no way to expel the baleful qi, it could only herd all of the baleful qi into a corner of the divine tal.

As the Golden Horn Flood Dragon devoured more and more baleful qi, more and more of it was deposited into the divine tal before being dumped into the sa corner.

Fang Che was ecstatic to see this! The corner in which the baleful qi was being deposited was going to be a perfect spear tip!

With that in mind, he began to lant all of the baleful qi that he had already expelled. If he had known this would happen, then he would've retained as much of it as possible.

Having said that, he knew that it would've been realistically unfeasible as his body wouldn't have been able to handle so much pent-up baleful qi.

I wonder how much more is left in there...

As the Golden Horn Flood Dragon continued to transport more baleful qi into the divine tal, Fang Che began to communicate with the little fairy, encouraging it to alter the form of the divine tal into a spear.

However, the little fairy was either wilfully ignoring him or didn't understand what he wanted it to do.

Hence, Fang Che began conjuring up spears for it to look at as reference, but it continued to ignore him, so it beca clear that it was simply playing dumb.

However, that wasn't a cause for concern.

So people took decades to forge divine weapons, so the process couldn't be rushed.

With that in mind, Fang Che withdrew his spirit sense from the divine tal, then departed from the Hundred Miasma Peak.

Parasite Ascension Project, here I co!

Yin Shengong was standing on a mountain summit with Hou Fang, Qian Sanjiang, and Mu Linyuan.

It was a clear night, and the moon and stars were glowing particularly bright.

Yin Shengong was staring up at the stars, paying particular attention to the brightest star in the night sky.

"All of our Generals will be setting off for the headquarters tomorrow at noon. Elder Qian, Elder Hou, and I will be accompanying you. Elder Mu, you stay behind and focus on your recovery," Yin Shengong instructed.

"You can count on , Pope Yin," Mu Lin Yuan declared. "I can't wait to be back after being trapped in Night Demon's underground secret chamber for so long!"

"How was your ti with Night Demon?" Yin Shengong asked with a smile.

"It was great. Night Demon looked after very well, even taking so ti to co and chat with every day. In exchange, I taught him sothing every ti he ca down to chat, and he's taken full advantage. I have nothing left that I can teach him!"

Even though Mu Linyuan was complaining, there was a wide smile on his face.

Hou Fang and Qian Sanjiang burst into laughter, both feeling a little envious of mu Linyuan.

"Night Demon is still too young," Mu Linyuan continued. "He's very earnest, thoughtful, and loyal, but those are not necessarily good qualities if he wants to make it far in the main church."

Yin Shengong and the others nodded in agreent.

"Having said that, he's also very decisive and ruthless when he needs to be. He's very goal-oriented, has great foresight for his age, and always gets what he wants."

"For example?"

"There's no better example than the ti I spent with him. I wanted to teach him so things, but I never intended to teach him everything. However, he was extrely cunning, using all sorts of tactics to coax more information out of ," Mu Linyuan said with a wry smile.

"That does sound like him," Yin Shengong. "No one went to search his manor while you were there?"

"They did send people once. Night Demon was at the academy at the ti, and those people searched the manor with their spirit sense. I was able to remain hidden thanks to my Cool as Ice, and no one else ca after that."

Yin Shengong nodded in response.

This made sense in his mind.

Fang Che's manor was within the White Cloud Warrior Academy catchnt zone, so it was understandable that no thorough search was conducted.

"Night Demon should be here soon."

"I'm sure he's on his way. Having said that, he's been away from ho for half a year, so it would make sense if he wanted to spend a bit more ti with his mother."

"We'll probably have to wait for him until after midnight," Yin Shengong scoffed. "This is the first ti I've ever had to personally wait for soone like this."
