Drusilla faced Zephyx, her expression a combination of shock, wonder, and sothing else he couldn't quite identify—concern, maybe. Her scarlet eyes were fixed on him, examining him as if she desired to find very depths of his soul. At last, she spoke the question that had been bothering her.

"Have you finally beco a vampire?"

Zephyx stared at her, confused by the way she asked it. His transformation had been far from ordinary, but still, he didn't expect this level of questioning from her.

"Yeah, why?" he replied, still trying to process everything.

Her lips compressed, and she shook her head slightly, as if attempting to reassure herself of sothing. "Because your change is a bit...different than normal," she said, her voice trailing off with uncertainty.

Zephyx already knew that his transformation had been far from normal, but he couldn't help but ask, "What do you an?"

Instead of responding, Drusilla brought out a mirror from her storage ring. For an instant, Zephyx was confused and wondered why on earth she carried a mirror with her in a storage ring. He didn't voice the question—there were more important issues to deal with.

When the mirror was in front of him, he froze, his breath caught in his chest.

The face looking back at him was... different. His complexion was whiter, the typical indication of vampirism, but that wasn't what stunned him. His hair, still the sa pure white, surrounded a face that was unmistakably more handso than it had been. But the biggest shock ca when he gazed into his eyes.

His left eye, once serene and blue, now was deep, radiant crimson. The other, though, was still blue.

"Your eyes," Drusilla whispered, her tone laced with a hint of skepticism. "Both eyes would have turned crimson red, but only one has." She actually sounded baffled.

Then, intrigued, she asked, "What Category of vampire are you? Because I know that you didn't beco a Crimsonvale Vampire."

Her question seed so natural. In most vampire lore, when soone was turned, they gained an innate understanding of their new vampiric category. Zephyx had also received this innate understanding, but he needed to focus on it. Alternatively, he could simply ask the system about it.

After a beat, he replied, "It's sothing like... Eldritch Bloodborn."

Drusilla paused, clearly surprised. She tapped her chin thoughtfully, considering his words. "I don't know this category," she said, her voice tinged with mystery. "Maybe my father will know sothing about it."

At the ntion of her father, Zephyx's interest piqued. Drusilla's father was the sole ruler of the vampire race, the one and only primordial vampire before Zephyx's transformation.

She continued, her tone turning serious. "What skills did you receive after the transformation?"

Zephyx stopped, taking a mont to get himself together. "Wait, let receive the information that was attached to the category first. Then I can tell you," he stated, attempting to concentrate internally.

"Alright," she said, her gaze not wavering.

"But first, can you clean this place up?" he asked, gesturing to the bloody ss that was still lingering in the room.

Without a word, Drusilla waved her hand, and in an instant, all the blood and gore vanished into her storage ring.

"Do you use that storage ring as a dustbin?" he asked, more out of curiosity than anything else.

She shrugged nonchalantly. "Yes, why? Everyone has a storage ring for garbage, right?"

Zephyx blinked at her, a bit taken aback. "No... not everyone has that kind of storage ring."

She tilted her head. "Did you say sothing?"

"No, nothing," he muttered, rolling his eyes.

He then sat cross-legged on the now-clean floor, closing his eyes in an attempt to show her that he was receiving the information that had co with his new category while internally calling out to the system.

"System, show the description of Eldritch Bloodborn."

[Okay, host.]

After that, the system panel materialized in his mind with a description about his category.

[Eldritch Bloodborn: Category of vampire which was not heard before. This category is specially ford for the host. The more the host grows, the greater the potential of their power will beco.

Skills:

Crimson Renewal: The host regenerates rapidly from injuries. Small wounds, severe injuries like broken bones or organ damage heal in seconds. Fatal injuries to the heart or brain take a minute to heal.

Shrouded Insight: The host can sense life forms, emotions, and supernatural presences within a limited radius of 100 ters..

Crimson Wielding: The host can weaponize their own blood, forming spikes, tendrils, or weapons for offense or defense.

Vital Surge: The host can sacrifice their own blood to temporarily increase agility and strength. However, they will feel weak based on the amount of blood they sacrifice. Sacrificed blood will not regenerate for 24 hours.]

Zephyx opened his eyes, the overwhelming flood of information still fresh in his mind. He looked at Drusilla, who was waiting expectantly.

"These are the abilities I learned," he explained slowly, carefully picking his words. "Crimson Renewal enables to recover from injuries quickly. It's a persistent regeneration power. Shrouded Insight enables to perceive life forms and supernatural entities around . Crimson Wielding enables to transform my blood into weapons. And Vital Surge enables to use my own blood as a sacrifice to beco stronger for a short while."

Drusilla's expression shifted as he spoke, her emotions shifting like a rollercoaster. She seed impressed.

"Crimson Renewal... a regeneration skill that can compete with our family's regeneration ability," she remarked.

"Shrouded Insight is useful, especially in forests or when enemies are closing in on you."

"But Crimson Wielding... that's a unique power. Vampires can't usually manipulate their blood. Our family is the only exception, but even we can't use our own blood—only the blood of dead foes or allies. This could be your main weapon. With the help of regeneration, you can always regenerate your blood."

"Vital Surge..." She paused, her eyes glowing with admiration. "It's an overpowered skill. You can use it whenever you're losing, to turn the tide of battle or escape. If you learn to control it, there will be no one who can stop you."

Zephyx felt a chill run down his spine at her words. Drusilla's emotions were difficult to read, but one thing was clear—she was excited for what he could beco.

Then, with a soft smile, she said, "As you are my disciple now, tomorrow will be your training."

Zephyx froze, a sense of dread creeping into his chest. Despite her soft smile, there was sothing unsettling about it. A cold shiver ran down his spine as he nodded in response.

"Okay," he said, trying to keep his voice steady.

At that ti, he had not the slightest clue that how greatly his life was going to shift. But one thing was certain here—future Zephyx would damn the current one for welcoming Drusilla's training on this day.
