The Director’s office, Milky Way Group.

Weng Cheng held his mobile phone with a look of contempt and veiled sarcasm on his face.

The caller was Li Wenjun.

Li Wenjun, full of passion on the other end, said, "Director Cheng, to prevent Yin Qin’s success is quite simple. You currently manage the Milky Way Group. Everyone will listen to you. Just a slight manipulation, Yin Qin will be unable to recover and will even be slapped in the face quite hard!"

"Really?" Weng Cheng didn’t show any interest at all.

It’s not that he wasn’t interested in Yin Qin. It was about having no interest in Li Wenjun as a person.

His mother called Li Wenjun shifty, manipulating petty sches.

The news that broke today just sared Yin Qin without impacting him at all. Yin Qin didn’t care. The biggest benefit was not that it added any glitter to Li Wenjun. It did not have any effect he intended.

Only his mother would be gullible enough to believe this sweet talker, even having him cooperate with the charr.

Li Wenjun continued, "I wonder if Director Cheng has considered this. "Hall of Heaven" is a live broadcast, what do live broadcasts worry about the most? Not the quality of the program itself, not the pre-show promotion, but the smooth execution of the live broadcast."

At that mont, Weng Cheng furrowed his brows.

Li Wenjun eagerly went on, "As long as Director Cheng can ensure that there’s a sudden glitch in the live broadcast of "Hall of Heaven" tonight, a brief interruption, or minor issues like stage sound or lighting, it will directly impact the audience’s enjoynt. Thus, wouldn’t Yin Qin’s ability be questioned? Thus, wouldn’t the great montum Yin Qin constructed be like slapping his own face?!"

Listening to Li Wenjun, Weng Cheng sneered sinisterly, "Li Wenjun, you are much more malicious than I thought!"

"Director Cheng flatters . I rely want to protect my business interests. If Yin Qin rises, will I have good days? Besides, I’m with your mother now, I naturally want to ease her worries."

"Knowing what you want is good. Li Wenjun, rest assured, if you keep pleasing my mother, your so-called business, I can make you rise to the top with just a little finger."

"Rest assured, Director Cheng."

"Alright, I know what to do now." Saying that, Weng Cheng hung up the phone.

No matter what, even if Li Wenjun had given him a thought, that would not change his contempt for the man.

He picked up the office phone and dialed his trusted aide.

"Co in."

"Yes."

The aide knocked on the door and entered.

Weng Cheng cut to the chase, "Is there anyone reliable among tonight’s staff?"

"There are a couple."

"Who are they in charge of?"

"One handles cara cuts, the other controls the stage lighting."

"Tell them, to cause a bit of trouble during the live broadcast. Don’t let it go too smoothly." Weng Cheng instructed.

"Yes."

The aide respectfully withdrew.

Weng Cheng sneered sinisterly.

In truth, he hadn’t thought about creating chaos on the spot. He didn’t think Yin Qin could attract that many audience mbers to watch this show. Did he believe that the news he had staged would certainly arouse the audience’s curiosity? The audience were not fools, ready to be manipulated as he wished.

But since... since it can further his downfall, and it wasn’t much effort for him now, why not?!

He leaned back in his chair, lit a cigarette, and was ready to sit back and savor the accomplishnt.

A knock sounded at the office door.

The aide entered and respectfully reported, "The command has been delivered. Both of them agreed, but there’s sothing I need to report to the Director."

"Speak." Weng Cheng exhaled smoke, not particularly concerned.

"During the morning, Yin Qin held a eting with the site staff, stating that if any of them made a mistake, that person would have to leave the Milky Way Group and wouldn’t be able to stay in Jin City. He also offered them an enticing paycheck."

Weng Cheng’s smoking paused, "So Yin Qin knows how to buy people’s hearts."

"So, when I found those two just now, both of them hesitated. Luckily, Director Cheng, your status is high enough, otherwise, no one else could persuade them to cooperate!"

Weng Cheng smirked, as if he hadn’t taken Yin Qin seriously in the first place.

Right on cue.

The aide’s phone suddenly rang.

Checking the caller, the aide quickly answered.

After the call, his face turned quite solemn.

"What happened?" Weng Cheng looked extrely displeased.

The aide stated, "Yin Qin has sent soone to monitor their exclusive broadcast location, and now the place for the live broadcast at every link is equipped with 360-degree unblindfolded caras. Under such intensive surveillance, they’ll have a hard ti causing trouble. If they do, they’ll certainly be exposed."

Weng Cheng abruptly stood up from his chair.

The aide dared not breathe.

Weng Cheng’s face turned ashen, "Is Yin Qin guarding against causing trouble?"

"Yin Qin is truly not ordinary..."

"How extraordinary can he be!" Refusing to acknowledge anything about Yin Qin, Weng Cheng said scornfully, "I only interfered to satisfy my mother. It’s her womanly kindness, always believing Yin Qin could accomplish sothing, that she forced to undertake trivial matters. I personally never believed Yin Qin could achieve anything significant! So be it! I want to see just what Yin Qin can pull off, what he can show after learning so much and putting in so much effort for tonight’s show!"

"Director, I think we really mustn’t underestimate Yin Qin now. Yin Qin can manage so many things in such a short ti, it’s obvious he is capable..."

One glance from Weng Cheng.

The aide shut up, not daring to say more.

Weng Cheng angrily said, "Don’t fan the flas of others and tarnish your own prestige! Yin Qin and I have known each other for decades, I know exactly what kind of person he is! Rest assured, he is simply a sudden whim, his enthusiasm doesn’t last more than three seconds! This man, he has had no ambition since childhood!"

The aide could only remain silent.

Weng Cheng didn’t want to say anymore. He coldly commanded, "Out!"

The aide left.

Weng Cheng ruthlessly extinguished his cigarette.

How could he be scared of Yin Qin, that wastrel? He had been suppressed under Yin Bin in the Milky Way Group for so long. He had had enough of feeling helpless, endlessly doubting himself, and lacking confidence. Now, he looked down on everyone, he was the strongest king in the Milky Way Group!

At three in the afternoon.

Ji Baixin handed out costus to the actors again.

The rehearsals began, one after another.

Yin Qin sat in the audience, and Ji Baixing never left either.

She admired her own designs. Under the lighting and the stage, the colorful clothes indeed brightened up the entire stage. She had a premonition that her clothing line would be the dark horse of the spring release.

And all the credit for this goes to Yin Qin.

She turned to look at the man sitting next to her, his total concentration on the scene, expressing no opinions of his own, ticulously observing everything as an audience mber.

For so reason, Ji Baixing felt that Yin Qin was learning, learning silently and seriously.

Perhaps he already had so thoughts, but he chose to keep them to himself.

It was like her first design, he had his own ideas, but said nothing. When his opinion was really needed, he could pinpoint the crux of the issue.

She did not know whether he was considering the feelings of the people involved and temporarily withheld his opinions, or he was waiting for a mont to astound the world!

The rehearsal was over.

Two hours of touch-up makeup in the middle.

8:30 in the evening.

The live broadcast officially began.

Yin Qin moved from the audience to the backstage to watch the show.

He seed very composed.

Ji Baixing really couldn’t tell if Yin Qin was nervous at this mont. According to the circumstances, he should have been, but he just sat there, showing no emotion.

Wu ili has always been by Yin Qin’s side.

She also couldn’t figure out the exact situation of her company’s chairman at the mont.

She constantly looked at her phone, logged in backstage, and checked the real-ti viewership situation.

The live broadcast just started.

The number of viewers was not large, but it was more than any previous episode, which was a very good start.

However, after about 30 minutes into the broadcast, the number of viewers did not increase much, but the ones that ca in almost never left and the chasing rate was about ninety-five percent, indicating that there was no problem with the quality of the show, it’s just that the viewer base was too small.

Does this an that the initial publicity did not achieve the effect they expected?!

Wu ili looked at her mobile phone and did not dare to speak.

Her chairman didn’t ask about the data situation either, he just watched the TV as if watching the show.

At this mont, Weng Cheng was also in his office, watching the auditions for "Hall of Heaven" and his confidant was reporting the latest developnts to him at his side.

Weng Cheng sneered, "I thought they were capable of sothing. After putting in so much effort, the public number increased only by 0.01 percent. How much audience rating can it increase?! It’s ridiculously funny!"

HIs confidant looked at the data, feeling they might have worried too much.

Despite all the things Yin Qin had done, the audience might not necessarily buy tickets.

The show was one and a half hours long and there was still only the last half hour left.

The data had been stable, not many people was coming but only few were leaving, it was just a near straight line on the graph.

Wu ili was sowhat resigned.

According to the present trend, the viewership might rise to a maximum of 0.6, and a rating of 2 was simply a pie in the sky.

Yin Qin appeared very calm.

All his attention was on the quality of the show itself, with his mind recording what needed to be improved for the next episode, not only the live performance of the actors but also the way the live cara switched, the host’s charisma and the interaction of the star ntors.

The show had only the last ten minutes left.

Two actors would be eliminated in this episode.

This was also the last climax of the show.

If the viewership doesn’t increase at this ti, it would be very difficult to lift up later.

Wu ili opened the app on her phone and checked the real-ti analytics.

The mont she saw it, she almost dropped her phone in shock.

She thought she must have seen it wrong.

Since the last half-hour, the stream of viewers was completely growing exponentially. Right now the numbers were still rolling, the viewing figures kept refreshing the previous data over and over again.

She blinked her eyes and excitedly exclaid, "Chairman, the number of viewers has reached half a million now! The highest simultaneous viewership has reached three hundred thousand!"

Yin Qin seed to finally react.

Wu ili continued ecstatically, "Now, it has reached three hundred and twenty thousand!"

Yin Qin looked at the screen, and the host was precisely announcing the final list of advancing candidates at that mont.

And then.

Wu ili said, "The viewer count is starting to drop now..."

Yin Qin closed his lips tightly.

The show was about to end.

Wu ili put down her phone and said, "According to the current viewing situation, the highest audience rating may indeed break through 2."

Yin Qin gave a slight nod.

At that mont, he got up from the sofa, instructed in a confident tone, "Tell everyone in the project departnt, we’ll have a group dinner tonight."

Wu ili imdiately responded, "Yes."

Ji Baixing stood next to Yin Qin.

This ti she really saw Yin Qin smile, his mouth was upturned, bright and sunshiny.

At the mont Wu ili turned to leave, she saw Ji Baixing looking at her chairman like that.

Oh my goodness.

Could it be that Ji Baixing really likes the chairman of her company?!

But... didn’t the chairman already get married?

To Luo Xiaolang!
