His heartbeat was hamring wildly, like a countdown to death!
However, the expected didn’t happen.
Yin Qin opened his eyes to see a wild dog that had seemingly leapt from nowhere, launching itself directly at the three corpses.
Before the corpses had a chance to attack Yin Qin, they were surrounded by more than ten wild dogs who set upon them in a frenzy.
A cacophony of weapon clashing sounds.
In that mont, Yin Qin couldn’t move. All he could do was watch as the wild dogs battled with the three corpses.
Blood was flowing like a river.
Yin Qin was petrified, watching with wide-eyed horror.
Suddenly, he felt himself being yanked up by soone.
Yin Qin jumped in fright. He felt like his soul might have left his body at that mont.
Scaring people to death isn’t okay, you know!
Luo Xiaolang didn’t say a word, simply grabbing Yin Qin and dragging him to safety, quietly watching the deadly struggle unfold.
A while passed.
The three corpses were savagely mauled to death by the pack of dogs; it was a sight too horrible to witness.
Several of the wild dogs also lay lifeless.
Blood was flowing everywhere.
One of the dogs turned its head towards Yin Qin.
Yin Qin paused.
He surely didn’t want to be mauled to death by a dog.
He raised his weapon.
Luo Xiaolang snatched it from his grasp.
"Listen here..." Yin Qin was about to lose his temper.
Without a word, Luo Xiaolang walked forward from the brush, towards the largest of the wild dogs.
"Damn, this pup sure is brave." Yin Qin muttered.
And yet, the wild dog did not attack Luo Xiaolang.
Luo Xiaolang squatted down, stroking the feral dog’s head.
The wild dog stared straight back at her.
Luo Xiaolang leaned her head down, brushing her forehead against the dog’s.
The wild dog turned around, leading its pack away swiftly.
Only after the wild dogs had disappeared did Yin Qin dare to venture out and comnted, inspecting the grueso scene around him, "Damn, these wild dogs are brutal."
"They’re wolves." Luo Xiaolang snapped back.
"What?"
"They’re wolves!" Luo Xiaolang turned to stare at him.
"So they’re wolves, why are you so angry? They sort of look like huskies anyway. I was wondering when huskies beca so fierce..." Yin Qin mumbled.
"Even a husky is better than you." Luo Xiaolang stood up from the ground and began walking back.
Yin Qin, upset, retorted, "You don’t know a husky’s IQ!"
Luo Xiaolang had no interest in arguing.
Yin Qin continued to ramble, "Huskies are really dumb, really dumb. When Ji Baijian wanted to get a dog, I wanted to buy him a husky just to piss him off..."
"At least, a husky wouldn’t wet itself in fear." Stooping down, Luo Xiaolang halted her steps, and slowly said each word, looking at Yin Qin.
Yin Qin blinked in surprise.
What does she an?
Who wet their pants?
He looked down at his crotch in alarm...
Damn.
He clamped his hands over his crotch.
When did he wet himself?
He had completely forgotten.
Or entirely unaware.
Was it that mont when he thought he was about to die?
No.
He’d rather die than admit to it.
The distinguished Master Yin could never be involved in such an embarrassing incident.
Yin Qin strode over to Luo Xiaolang, who was already so distance away, and quickly explained, "That’s not pee, it’s sweat. You try running a hundred, no, a thousand ters and see, don’t just spout nonsense."
Luo Xiaolang completely ignored him.
"Luo Xiaolang, did you hear !" Yin Qin yelled angrily.
Still, Luo Xiaolang didn’t respond.
Yin Qin grabbed her, speaking slowly and articulating each word clearly, "I didn’t wet my pants, you got it wrong, got it?!"
Luo Xiaolang looked at him.
"Got it?!" Yin Qin’s voice was loud.
"I’m not interested in what happened to you." Luo Xiaolang pushed away Yin Qin’s hand and walked away briskly.
Yin Qin stared at Luo Xiaolang’s retreating figure.
This little wolf sure has a temper.
Isn’t she usually cheerful and radiant in front of who was it? Wei Ziming? Doesn’t she usually act like an 18-year-old girl?
This little dog, playing two roles huh!
