On the plane.
Chu Qin’s reproachful and mocking voice echoed through the cabin.
Song Zhizhi didn’t actually want to draw her sword against Chu Qin in front of so many people, but obviously, Chu Qin would not let her off the hook.
She questioned, "Is there a stipulated rule by the Comrcial Managent stating one cannot bring a family mber on a business trip?"
"Song Zhizhi! This is common sense and it doesn’t need to be spelled out." Chu Qin retorted coldly.
"I can assure that she will not cause any trouble."
"Her re presence is trouble itself." Chu Qin, threateningly rebuked.
"Is it hampering your breathing, Manager Chu?"
Song Zhizhi sneered back.
"Song Zhizhi!" Chu Qin gritted her teeth in anger.
Unfazed, Song Zhizhi responded, "I admit, it’s indeed inappropriate to bring family mbers on a business trip, an impropriety mainly resulting from its potential to negatively impact work. However, let assure you, she will have no effect on our work whatsoever. If it leads to any detrintal outco, I’ll take full responsibility!"
"Can you really bear such a responsibility?"
"So, Manager Chu, do you really think it is such a big cri for to bring soone along?" An exasperated Song Zhizhi retorted, "If it weren’t for the fact that Luo Xiaolang is sitting next to , appearing rely as a tourist on this plane, would you even have the right to control him? Or, is it just because I am your subordinate, you feel you can control all aspects of my life?"
Insinuating that Chu Qin was abusing her position.
Humbled, Chu Qin’s face turned red out of embarrassnt.
She was about to retort back.
But Song Zhizhi didn’t give her a chance. Instead she addressed Luo Xiaolang, "Xiaolang, you go and sit in the back. Find soone and swap places with them. After all, my boss does not allow anyone connected with to sit next to ."
"Song Zhizhi, don’t twist my words!" An image-less Chu Qin was even pushed to a corner.
"I’m simply following the common sense that Manager Chu just explained," Song Zhizhi coolly responded. Watching Luo Xiaolang stand up to leave, she turned back to Chu Qin and asked, "Is that okay now?"
"You better make sure nothing happens on this trip." Chu Qin, giving one final remark, sat down on her seat.
It was clear she could not out-argue Song Zhizhi.
After sitting down, she clenched her fists, seemingly struggling to contain her rage.
Song Zhizhi.
Song Zhizhi!
She vowed to make it impossible for her to "survive comfortably" in the Comrcial Managent!
anwhile, Yi Wenhan, who was sitting on one side, watched the whole argunt unfold, a cold smirk on his face.
Song Zhizhi sure had quite a few enemies now!
This woman truly was getting too full of herself.
He eagerly looked forward to her downfall, the more tragic, the better!
Song Zhizhi took a deep breath after the hefty argunt to calm herself down.
Of course, she wasn’t going to let Luo Xiaolang go back as so people wished for. She even suspected that soone was purposely trying to prevent her from taking Luo Xiaolang on the trip given that no one could guarantee a peaceful journey.
The flight took eight hours to reach the capital of Beixia Country, Imperial City, and then another two and a half hours to reach Linbin City. By the ti they landed it was already eight in the evening – everyone handled their check-ins: Luo Xiaolang got a room for himself, and Song Zhizhi shared one with Li Sheng.
They were exhausted from the long journey. After settling his stuff, Li Sheng asked Song Zhizhi, "Do you need to use the bathroom?"
"I’m not staying here; I’ll be staying with Luo Xiaolang," Song Zhizhi answered plainly.
"Is she your servant?" Li Sheng asked.
"No, a friend." Song Zhizhi replied.
Li Sheng nodded, "Go ahead, if Manager Chu asks, I’ll play dumb."
"You can answer however you like, if she does. Our boss can’t possibly have control over our personal lives as well."
"Indeed." Li Sheng laughed, "As long as it doesn’t affect work, she really is overstepping. Honestly, I felt everyone in our departnt, no, not just our departnt, but even those from other departnts relished our argunt."
Song Zhizhi laughed lightly. "Then I should leave first."
"Hmm."
