The cavalry clashed, their warhorses intertwined.

The Northern Barbarians’ cavalry, just as they raised their sabers, were already bewildered and pierced by long spears, then tumbled from their horses.

Even so Northern Barbarians’ riders, with their heads swirling with dark vapor, witnessed a scene they couldn’t comprehend.

In the clash of cavalry, chaos should have ensued; collisions between horses were likely.

Yet these player soldiers managed to slightly turn their mounts’ heads and, while using the length of their long spears to pierce the Northern Barbarians’ cavalry, forced their horses through the narrow gaps!

Cavalry charges are not ant to be as densely packed as infantry formations.

There should be a fair distance between two horses, otherwise, once they started running, they could likely crash into each other.

This should have been nothing significant, but now, surprisingly, these players exploited it, turning the cavalry clash into a ga of threading the needle!

To achieve this, two things were clearly needed: first, an excellent control of the warhorse to the point of unity between horse and rider; second, swift eyes and hands to find gaps in the enemy lines amidst the rapidly changing battlefield.

And, quite coincidentally, this batch of players t both requirents.

Of course, threading the needle like this often also led to accidents, and many players still inevitably collided with the Northern Barbarians’ horses or riders.

But as the players were heavy cavalry with substantial weight, they had a significant advantage during collisions.

Thus, this unit of player cavalry forcefully broke through the encirclent of the Northern Barbarians’ riders, leaving only a field littered with bodies!

Many Northern Barbarians’ soldiers and horses lay on the ground, along with nurous masterless warhorses wandering the battlefield, lost and aimless.

Reining in their horses, Emperor Taizu of Sheng surveyed his n and discovered that, after this clash, it seed... incredibly... no one had fallen behind.

So were injured, but they could still fight because the cavalry’s innate skill allowed n and horses to share the damage, dying only together.

Emperor Taizu of Sheng’s expression couldn’t help but show so astonishnt.

Although heavy cavalry charging light cavalry should indeed crush the opposition, the casualty rate was excessively low.

For so reason, he felt like he was leading a charge with thousands of General Gu Yuans, which was preposterous...

On the other side, the Northern Barbarians’ cavalry also collided thunderously with the infantry formations arrayed in well-prepared ranks!

To be precise, they collided with the barrier-like chariots on the outermost edge.

Of course, there were significant gaps between each chariot, it wasn’t a complete tight seal, but within those gaps were either sharp long spears or the dark muzzles of guns and cannons.

Before these Northern Barbarians’ riders collided, once they entered the range, General Deng had already ordered the guns and cannons to blaze away and arrows to fly en masse, inflicting the first wave of casualties on the charging cavalry.

But under the influence of demonic forces, they continued to charge fearlessly and relentlessly.

Nurous long spears extended from behind the chariots, enduring fierce impacts.

Many confident players had been waiting behind the chariots, but in the next instant, they felt a massive force transmitted through their long spears. Despite having already planted the butt of the spears into the ground to form the most resistant structure against shocks, it was all futile; they were sent flying.

Their hands were numb, and the long spears instantly snapped.

Even the seemingly sturdy chariots were hit so hard they wobbled as if about to collapse at any mont, threatening to beco a giant breach.

Using cavalry to charge against an infantry formation is an incredibly wasteful act.

Because cavalry are much more valuable than infantry.

But throughout history, this tactic has not been uncommon.

Because if the cavalry broke through the infantry ranks, what followed was a lopsided slaughter, and even at so cost, it was well worth it.

Only this ti, this cavalry was t with fierce resistance that was beyond imagination!
