Magic was sothing that Raze didn’t expect to see, but he had noticed it imdiately. However, there wasn’t a doubt that Raze would eventually see magic, and if his guess was right, then that would an the man that was in front of him was soone he sowhat knew about.
The real question was whether it was a person he could trust or not.
"I know you probably want to fight all of these, but believe , it’s not good for us, so we are going to have to co back another day!" the man claid as he lifted up his hand.
A bright light shined. It was such a blistering light that it covered the vision of all of the warriors. If they attacked, they would have to do so blind, and there was a good chance they could hit each other.
So they would just wait for their vision to return, holding their ground rather than acting recklessly. But when they did, looking into the centre, they could see the two had disappeared.
"Crap, he got away. Wasn’t that the Loner?" one of the n asked.
"I think you’re right, but he hasn’t appeared in a while. What was he doing here? And why would he co out now of all tis? Still it appears he is as strong and annoying as he always has been.
"Who knows, but we should report this. There’s a few of us that are dead. It’s been a while since sothing like this has happened. Whether it’s the Loner or not, there will be those that aren’t too happy."
Their voices carried a mixture of frustration and concern, as they looked around at the aftermath of the battle. The damage that had been done, the fallen warriors, it was clear that this wasn’t sothing that could be ignored.
When Raze could see again, it almost felt like he had been transported to another world once more. There were now several large trees and greenery around them, along with the flowing grass that moved gently with the wind.
And right in front of them, there was what looked like a rather large cabin, clearly a place lived in based on the decorations. It didn’t look abandoned or temporary, it felt established, like soone had spent ti making it into a proper ho.
When Raze looked up at the sky, he could tell from the colours that they were still in the Divine realm.
"A quick teleportation circle, I guess they all lead to one point if you were able to create them that fast," Raze said.
"I’m sure you have a lot of questions to ask, so I thought I would bring us to a place where the two of us could speak more peacefully," the man said as he walked ahead, revealing his back to Raze.
One thing was for sure, this man didn’t see Raze as an enemy. Otherwise, he wouldn’t leave himself so open to attacks. It was either that, or he was incredibly confident in himself.
Entering into the cabin, the place had everything one needed to live. There were cooking utensils, a living area, and a dining table. It was simple, but functional, and clearly maintained.
What Raze also noticed was that there was the use of magic almost everywhere.
Subtle traces of magic were embedded into the structure itself, whether it was in the way the light seed to stay consistent, or how the air felt slightly different compared to outside. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was present.
"The Divine warriors have never been able to find this place, so it’s safe. I created it myself, so it’s extrely well hidden," the man said as he sat down and gestured for Raze to do the sa at the table.
"I’m sure you have realised it yourself, that I am a mage, and I have been looking for those like yourself, those that can use magic, that have ascended into the Divine realm. Which ans you are much like , a person who can use magic, as well as techniques of Pagna."
The words of the man had confird pretty much what Raze had thought.
"You’re Bofan, aren’t you?" Raze asked. "The founder of the Dark Faction, the person who created the Dark Edge sword arts. It’s like I thought, the reason why you disappeared from both Alterian, as well as Pagna, is because you managed to reach the Divine realm."
Bofan then took off his hood, revealing grey hair. It almost looked like Raze’s, but it wasn’t white, it was grey from age. Bofan looked like a man who was in his fifties, but he was most likely much older than that.
His hair swept back over his head, long as it went down past his ears and was resting on his shoulders.
"It appears you have been through a lot," Bofan said. "And you are correct. I was hoping that there would be soone like you, who had managed to go through everything."
"I have so many questions I want to ask you, but before we share each other’s stories, let answer the most pressing question you have."
Raze narrowed his eyes slightly, wondering what Bofan ant by that. There were many questions running through his mind, but there was one above all others.
The door was heard creaking open, and naturally Raze turned his head.
The mont he did, he saw a straight black-haired woman walking through the door, whose eyes imdiately started to tear up.
Her presence alone was enough to confirm everything.
"Raze... you’re here, you ca for ..." Safa said.
Her voice was filled with emotion, and in that mont, everything else seed to fade away.
