The Pagna warriors and the mages in Noble land, their attention was drawn to the large objects in the sky, it was impossible to miss it due to the large shadows they were casting in the area. Even those that were locked in combat instinctively slowed for a second, their eyes drifting upward as the battlefield darkened unnaturally.

At first, when the Noble Guild could see who it was, they saw that it was Idore the Grand Magus. Seeing him had brought them hope, having a nine star mage on their side, would be able to eliminate a large number of the warriors they were going against. For many of them, Idore wasn't just a leader but a symbol of dominance, the strongest mage in Alterian descending into the battlefield.

But when they saw the large giant boulders of earth though, there was a thought that itched at the back of their mind. Sothing wasn't right. The scale of the spell, the positioning of it, it wasn't aid with precision.

Then the boulders were ignited with fire magic and lastly they were hurled towards the ground and their worst fears had co true.

"Do what you can to break those boulders before they hit the ground!" Alba shouted as she had jumped from her position trying to get to the bulk of where the others were fighting, since she had been quite a distance away due to taking out the towers.

While in the air, with a Qi strike and giant X shape in the air her attack had hit one of the large boulders splitting it apart, but due to the sheer size of the boulder it had only made them into more fiery rocks to descend on the people. What she had done had reduced the impact of a single mass, but now multiple chunks rained down instead, spreading the destruction wider.

The others did whatever they could, to stop the boulders, and for a mont even the mages were attacking the boulders trying to stop them, until they had crashed down. The boulders tore through the buildings and the shockwave of them landing, had destroyed several of the buildings around them. Windows shattered, walls collapsed, and the force rippled outward throwing both warriors and mages off their feet.

People that were from Pagna as well as mages from Alterian had been hit by the fiery rocks, and now the city was getting engulfed in flas. Smoke quickly began to rise between the streets, visibility lowering, the battlefield becoming chaos rather than formation.

Thankfully, so of the Pagna warriors had retreated to their allies.

Those like Tilion was able to use his shield to stop part of the attack, bracing himself as debris struck against it with a thunderous crash, the ground cracking beneath his feet from the pressure. Lince had used a large range attack with his daggers and ribbon to destroy several that would have done serious harm to his people, his blades weaving through the air cutting apart chunks before they could fully descend.

But the ones that were most unfortunate, were actually the Noble Guild mages. They weren't united in their plan. So of them had continued to try and fight against the warriors, refusing to abandon their duels even as death fell from the sky.

Others had tried to run, and then there were those that attacked the boulders but their little magic was unable to stop them as they got crushed. Their spells struck the flaming rocks but fizzled under the overwhelming mass and heat.

Compared to the Pagna warriors who had moved to those more capable and willing to stop the attacks, or attack the boulders together to minimise the damage, leading to the death of many of them, and now the numbers between the Noble Guild mbers and that of the Pagna warriors were looking pretty even.

What seed bizarre to the Pagna warriors though was, as soon as the dust started to settle from the teor crash that had just appeared in front of them, the mages started to attack.

There was no hesitation.

Tilion lifted up his shield as he blocked a large fire spell that was shot towards his way, the heat pressing against him even through the barrier.

"Get rid of them all now!" The mages shouted and things were the sa as they were just a few monts ago.

"These people are crazy." Kizer said. "Did that mage not just attack both sides, he didn't care if they lived or die, and yet they're still fighting for him like it's completely normal!"

He couldn't understand it. Idore's spell hadn't discriminated. It had fallen on mage and warrior alike.

"Regardless!" Lily shouted as she thrust her spear forward and fired out a beam of energy hitting one in the center, then jumped in the air spinning her spear and slamd it into the floor. "At least it seed to help us out a bit, even if these guys are crazy!"

The rubble had shifted the battlefield in their favour slightly, narrowing entry points and forcing the mages into closer range combat where the Pagna warriors excelled.

Kizer saw a group of mages, and rushed forward on top of a mound of rubble, he sliced at a couple of them, and then grabbed one from behind and slamd one's face into a rubble of wall to his side.

"What's wrong with you, can't you see that your leader doesn't care about you!" Kizer shouted.

"Didn't you just see what he's capable of?" The mage replied. "If we don't fight against you, then he'll kill us all, at least us being on the winning side, it gives us a chance of survival!"

Not all of the mages thought this way though. So truly were on Idore's side, believed in his goal while there were those controlled by fear.

"Everything we sacrifice is a greater aning for all of us in Alterian, and you people being here is proof!" A magic swordsman said as they clashed their sword going right up against Kizer.

Steel t enchanted blade, sparks flying between them.

"What you're fighting for, I guess you're all just crazy!"
