The magic swordsn were clearly high-level mages, each one equipped with greatly enchanted items. Individually, the others could face them, but it would result in a stalemate, and Raze could already tell that the intimidation tactic he had used when he first entered was starting to wear off. The Noble Guild mages were adjusting, and that ant it was down to him to end this before the montum shifted any further.

"Dark Magus, you are not as powerful as you believe you are!" one of the n at the front shouted. "We, as a unit, will take you down, and pave the way for the new world!"

"Right," Raze answered, his voice calm. "Then I'd like you all to see if you can withstand this."

Raze lifted his foot and slamd it onto the ground.

In the sa instant, the entire unit fell. Every magic swordsman crashed face-first into the floor, weapons clattering as their bodies were pinned down. It wasn't a stagger, or a stumble; it was as if the air itself had beco a weight pressing them into the earth. Their arms trembled, their fingers scratched at stone, yet none of them could push themselves up.

A heavy pressure was sitting on top of them, crushing their chests and forcing the breath from their lungs.

"What is that? Is that gravitational magic!" one of them yelled.

"It has to be, I didn't know he had special affinities as well, and it's too strong!"

"I've never seen gravity magic this powerful before. The Dark Magus can use gravitational magic?"

Gravitational magic was one of the special affinities Raze had gained during his ti at the academy, and its effectiveness increased the stronger one's body was. With the body of a Pagna warrior, Raze didn't just increase the spell's pull; he could turn it into a force that threatened to crush bone.

Even so, the mages tried to resist. They activated as much mana as their bodies could hold, forcing energy through their limbs to fight back against the pressure. For a mont, a few elbows lifted, a few knees shifted, and so of them managed to raise their heads just enough to glare at him.

Raze lifted his foot again and slamd it down.

It was like an invisible giant foot had stomped on them all at once. Several scread as pain shot through their bodies, and blood spat out from their mouths. The sound of cracking echoed across the street as their enchanted gear shuddered under the strain.

Raze lifted his foot again and slamd it down.

The pressure intensified, and now even their swords began to fail. Steel snapped. Handles split. A few blades shattered into pieces and skidded across the ground. So of the swordsn went limp, their bodies no longer reacting, their eyes staring blankly as the force pressed them into the stone.

Raze lifted his foot one more ti and slamd it down.

When the gravity finally eased, the entire unit lay still. The large force of magic swordsn, considered skilled, feared, and one of the Noble Guild's main attackers, had been defeated just like that.

Around them, the street was littered with broken weapons and cracked stone, proof of how quickly the balance could be overturned. A few surviving mages hesitated, looking from the motionless swordsn to Raze, then back to their commanders, unsure whether to advance or retreat. That hesitation was exactly what Raze wanted right now.

"I gave you all a warning," Raze said, stepping forward. "Even with your enchanted items, they won't protect you. I'm fighting side by side with my allies, so where are the Grand Magi?"

Raze's gaze swept the battlefield.

"Even now, while we're fighting and killing you, they still haven't co out. Maybe it's because they're scared. Because if they do, they'll lose this fight as well!"

Raze lifted both hands, and lightning started to strike from above, slamming into the ground in precise points. Bolts hit mages trying to regroup, breaking their lines and forcing them to scatter. At the sa ti, the others surged forward again, moving as a compact team. As they moved together, they aid for the mages with the most annoying enchanted items, prioritising the ones using shields, reflections, and anything that disrupted their flow.

They were faring better now, just as Raze expected.

"Don't worry about ," Raze said.

His body disappeared, then reappeared in a different position. As long as he continued using ti magic on himself, he could restore his mana while staying in motion, never letting the enemy lock onto him. Through everything he had gained, he was an unstoppable machine now, showing how a Nine-Star Mage could eliminate entire armies on their own.

The group kept progressing, but there were still powerful mages with enchanted items, and Raze could tell they hadn't seen the best yet. The Noble Guild was still holding sothing back, waiting for the mont when their confidence returned fully.

Yet everything that was happening, everything that had happened from the first strike to now, was being witnessed directly from the palace. They could see through the towers that were observing the battlefield, and those watching weren't panicking. They were calculating.

"Well, he certainly knows how to make an entrance," Idore comnted. "I expected him to co, but to get past the first wall and break down the second with ease… it seems there will be a need for adjustnts once all of this is over."

Idore's eyes remained fixed on the scene below.

"In order to make it the perfect defence. But in the anti, it's ti to show them why the second area is so dangerous." Idore lifted his hands. "Activate the towers."
