Charlotte knew how unbelievable her words sounded. She wouldn't have believed it herself despite what they knew about magic, but the thing which allowed them to believe such things was magic and the fact that they were in another world.
To those in Pagna, magic was sothing they wouldn't be able to just believe, but great artifacts from other dinsions did things that were beyond their imagination. Just like magic was to Pagna warriors.
The fact they were here, they had to believe that anything was possible, including that when Raze had moved over here, he had moved over into a body of another.

"Is she going to be okay?" Lily asked.
"It's just a shock to her, but everything I said is the truth," Charlotte claid, after explaining what had really happened to Raze. "Honestly, you can believe the rest of it yourself or not, but Raze claims that Alterian is really sick."
"A lot of what is happening on Pagna right now, even with you being sent here, it's all linked to the Grand Magus. Due to their position in Alterian, they can cover up anything. Raze isn't so saint."
"He wasn't going after the Grand Magus in hopes to help the people, or to fix Alterian in so way. He has his own reasons for going after them." Charlotte didn't think it was her place to share personal matters, and she didn't really know the full story of all of it anyway. "But that was why he did everything in Alterian."
"He had learned Alter was linked to Alterian and the Grand Magus in so way, and spreading the na Dark Magus, he wanted a reaction out of Alter. It certainly has worked, and everything has led us to the situation we are in now."
Aurora was just thinking, how… how could she have had a crush on the Dark Magus of all things. The man had even gotten so close to her brother, the man was even in the academy, and was close to Kelly as well.
It made her think nurous other thoughts, about whether Kelly knew about this or not, but still, she couldn't get it out of her head, that the two were the sa person.
"I just don't understand… how can you treat it like normal. I think I need to walk a bit," Aurora said.
Leaving the room, Aurora decided to just walk inside the town hall. It was fairly large, with the various rooms, it was almost like a museum, and there were a number of interesting things for her to look at.
She just couldn't get the image of what she had learned today out of her head, though. The Dark Magus was ant to be dead, but now he was in another world and was planning to co back in one way or another.
A big part of her brain was telling her to stop. Eventually, she sat down, slumped in the library the town hall had. Most of it was Yarlston's personal collection.
"Oh, I didn't know there was soone else in here… I haven't quite seen you before?" The person asking the question and reaching for a book was Beatrix.
She had been delighted with her new weapon and was looking for sothing that might co in handy in teaching her how to use it to her full capabilities.
When Aurora looked at Beatrix, she saw a stunning, elegant woman with flowing blonde hair. When sitting down, her posture was upright and her manners were perfect; it was a woman that scread of elegance, and was what Aurora even envisioned herself to be.
"Ah yes… I'm not from here, I think Charlotte says that I'm an Otherworlder," Aurora answered.
"Oh, like Raze?" Beatrix said, having learned about Alter and about Raze through the visions she had seen. She had experienced more than just Alterian through those visions.
"Right… like Raze," Aurora said silently, until she managed to pluck the courage to turn and talk to Beatrix more. "I'm a little troubled… and I don't know if it's just or… you see, Raze well… when he was in our world, he wasn't exactly the… how do I put it."
"The best person?" Beatrix replied as she closed the book. "I think I might know what you an, and more so than you think."
Beatrix started to think of the darkest monts of Raze's life she had seen. The large amount of killings he had done, to those that didn't even deserve it.
"Raze is a difficult person, who has grown up with a hard life, but despite that, it doesn't an that I agree with him morally," Beatrix answered. "I have struggled with this thought myself, if I was in his shoes I wouldn't act the sa way, but is my way the absolute right way?"
"There are tis when my actions have led to even more suffering than if soone like Raze was in charge. Sotis, I feel like there is almost a need for people like Raze."
"Right," Aurora replied. Thinking about how well everyone talked about him, and what Lily said before, one person's ally is another's enemy. "But even if he did do those things, isn't it also true that he's selfish, that it's only because his goal aligns with everyone else's."
"If it was the other way, he would easily be an enemy. A person like that is so scary, at any point in ti, his weapons, his swords, his power could be pointed towards us!"
Beatrix nodded, she definitely agreed with this sentint more and more. "It is scary… but I saw sothing, Raze's feelings are very pure and straightforward. They only go laterally in a particular direction. If you are his enemy, then you are his enemy, and if you are his friend, or even his family, then he will equally do anything he can to help you."
"I'll tell you one thing. If you want to see if Raze is truly the evil person you think he is. You should look at how he looks at one person. I don't even think he has realized it yet, but it's the only ti his eyes are soft."
"You're saying the Dark Magus cared about soone, I would like to see that," Aurora laughed.
"I think he's with her right now working on sothing, go find her, go see Safa," Beatrix added. "See if the Dark Magus in your mind is the sa one you see here."
