Seeing the flas appear in the woman's hands made everyone almost jump back. Even the restaurant workers behind the counters flinched as they looked at the fire in her hands. They didn't understand it.
How was a person able to produce a fla, and not only that, to have it constantly there and not burning the person itself.
"Is that visual Qi?" the warrior with the sword on his back said. "Are you trying to threaten , little girl? You have no idea who I am, do you."
The man who was standing behind her had decided to pull the sword from his back and pointed it right at her. Seeing as there was a fight that appeared as if it was about to start, several of those in the restaurant started to move away and were no longer queuing up for their food.
"You're pointing your sword at ... you can't just go around and point large swords at people unless you're willing to fight!" Aurora said. "Just because you're a magic swordsman, you really think that you can deal with !"
Seeing the major threat that was on hand, and what the man said before, Aurora threw her hand, and the fire grew into a giant fireball. As the attack ca towards him, the man swung his sword down, embedding his Qi into his body and the sword.
It cut through the fireball, but parts of it broke off and hit his body.
"ARGHH, it's hot!" The man said as he swung his body, dwindling the flas that had touched him. "What kind of visual Qi is that?"
'He cut through the fireball? Is it Wind magic he just used?' Aurora thought.
The man, angered, gritted his teeth and then decided to charge forward, running at her.
That was when Aurora lifted both hands in the air. "You... even after that, you're coming to attack ! That is not how you treat a woman!"
The man stopped before charging forward as he could see a giant fireball that was raised above the woman's head. It was three tis bigger than the last one, and after feeling the pain of the last one, the man was frightened. For the first ti, he was frightened by sothing he didn't understand.
'I don't think this is visual Qi...'
A large explosion had occurred, and the front of the restaurant was destroyed, and flas covered the outside. Soon, though, wind flowed through, dwindling the flas, extinguishing them as they broke down into nothing but particles.
Imdiately, people started to rush out of the restaurant.
"It's a witch, a fire witch! Everybody run. It's a witch, a witch!"
People were running, shouting all over the place, while Aurora herself, looking at what she had just done, raised her hand to her face.
'Crap, I didn't an to go that far... I hope my brother can deal with this situation. He's good at this type of stuff, right, right?'
With her stomach still a bit hungry, for now, she decided to take a few of the stead buns. She shoved one in her face as she walked forward, but the mont she had stepped out of the restaurant, she could see several people on the street having drawn their swords and had them all pointed toward her.
"Stop, Fire Witch!" The people shouted.
Aurora did stop, not because she understood them but because of the sheer amount of people.
"This is all a misunderstanding, please, can you guys just get soone that can understand , please!" Aurora shouted.
As for those who had surrounded her, all of them wore strange clothes, each with a weapon in hand. If they were all as troubleso as the first, then it would be bad news.
One of the n charged forward, jumping at her. Imdiately, she started to swirl her hand, hitting the warrior in the stomach and sending him flying back.
"I don't want to hurt anyone; can soone just co that can understand !"
All Aurora could do in this strange land was defend herself from the countless people that were attacking her. However, the more she used her magic, even she could tell the situation was getting worse.
More warriors were starting to appear, and eventually, she would run out of mana.
"What do I do, what do I do? Won't anyone please help !" Aurora almost wanted to collapse and fall to her knees. Both of her hands were held out, and she had knocked out several of the warriors already.
She made sure not to use too much magic to kill them because she had no idea what political ss this would put her and her brother in.
"Stop!" A voice shouted out.
Imdiately, the others turned around, and when they saw who it was, they bowed down their heads.
"We greet the Crimson Crane!"
Aurora's hands were starting to fall, but she kept one up, pointed outward at the sudden involvent of a dark-skinned woman. It was clear because of her they had all stopped attacking, but if soone of importance arrived, then maybe it ant they were far stronger as well.
"Can you understand ?" Aurora asked, hoping this important figure would know Alterian.
"What did she say?" Alba shouted.
Hearing non-Alterian, Aurora was ready to lose hope.
"Don't worry, I can understand you," a voice said.
Aurora's eyes lit up as she understood the words that had co out, the words that were
spoken. When she turned, she could see an orange-haired girl speaking.
"It's okay... you must have been frightened, right?" Charlotte said. "We'll take you
sowhere safe, where the situation can be dealt with."
Reports had co in about what had been seen at the restaurant. As the reports traveled, the town of Flendon was made aware of what type of powers were being used. Hearing the
powers, they oddly felt like it was similar to what had been seen before.
And there was a guess that there was a high chance that this was magic. No one thought Alter would be foolish enough to attack the way the attacks had occurred. So Charlotte thought, what if it was soone from Alterian?
Otherworlders would still be coming into the world of Pagna, and without Alter doing their usual job of helping those Otherworlders, then what would happen to them?
"Co on, I'll take you in... we'll et Raze and see what he wants to do."
"Raze..." Aurora repeated as her eyes felt weak.
