Chapter 720 – Chapter 700: The Heart Of The Devil

The once prosperous streets were now deserted. There were overturned stalls and carriages. There were broken limbs and bones everywhere. There were children’s bones among the corpses. It was like a purgatory, it was a pity.

Dudian’s footsteps were silent as if he was a ghost floating in the ruins.

Aisha was the sa. Although she didn’t have consciousness, but her fighting instinct was still engraved in her bones. She walked quietly. The two of them passed through the streets like shadows.

The night covered the sky of the city. There were no sparks or laughter. There were only one or two howls and screams from afar.

“There have been hundreds of thousands of pows killed by generals in history. I don’t know how many people will spit on in the future.”Dudian whispered to himself as he stepped over the ssy corpses on the ground, it sounded like he was talking to Aisha but also to himself.

He smiled faintly and self-deprecatingly.

It seed that every ti he was alone with Aisha, he would be more sentintal and have human emotions.

After passing through half of the city, Dudian gradually approached the Monster Institute on the map. At this ti, he suddenly noticed two figures hiding in the corner of the alley in front of the street. One was big and the other was small.

He was surprised that he didn’t see any living people along the way. He didn’t expect that there were people here.

He didn’t change his route and continued to walk forward. He imdiately saw that the two people hiding in the alley were an old man and a seven or eight-year-old girl. They were wearing coarse linen clothes. It was obvious that they were poor civilians.

The old man also noticed Dudian and Aisha. He was shocked when he saw them. He thought that there were two undeads quietly approaching. However, under the faint moonlight, he quickly saw the appearance of Dudian and Aisha, the color of their skin was not pale like the undeads. Moreover, they didn’t have blue eyes. He was relieved. He waved to Dudian and Aisha and pointed to the corner in front of him.

Dudian didn’t intend to pay attention to the two but he noticed the old man’s action. He looked in the direction of the old man’s finger and saw four or five undeads wandering in the street corner.

Since he saw the old man’s kind gesture, Dudian didn’t continue to be blind. He was ready to clean up the undeads. Suddenly, the old man held the little girl’s hand and quietly ran over, she grabbed Dudian’s hand and used two fingers to write a shushing gesture on her small mouth. She used the other hand to grab Aisha’s hand as if she was going to pull her into the alley.

Aisha was covered by her hand. Her face was expressionless but her pure black eyes slightly turned as if there was evil killing intent seeping out.

Dudian didn’t expect the little girl to be so bold. His heart moved but he didn’t resist. He held Aisha’s hand and went back to the alley with her.

The old man saw the little girl return. His anxious face was obviously relieved. Previously, he didn’t hold the little girl down and caused her to run out by herself. He almost scared her to death. At this mont, seeing that she had returned safely, he imdiately held her firmly, he gave her a reproachful look. However, when he thought of the presence of outsiders, he didn’t want to be too obvious. He raised his head and looked at Dudian and Aisha.

Dean whispered to the old man: “Why didn’t you stay in the house? Why did you co outside? There are undeads in the vicinity.”

The old man was frightened by his words. He looked at the entrance of the alley. He was relieved to see that the undeads didn’t notice him, he lowered his voice and said to dean: “We don’t have any food in our house. If we don’t co out to find food, we will starve to death. Are you going to take refuge in Baron Angeli’s castle? If you are willing then we can go together.”

He saw that Dudian and Aisha were young and strong. If they were in danger then they might be able to help them.

Dudian understood the old man’s thoughts. He asked: “Can Baron Angela take refuge? Does he have an army?”It was rare to et a disaster victim in the inner wall so he could understand the situation here.

“You don’t Know?”The old man was surprised. He looked at Dudian and Aisha. His eyes lit up when he saw the giant sword on Dudian’s back, “Baron Angela’s castle is guarded by knights. The infected people can’t get close to it. Many people have gone there to take refuge. If we can get there then we will be completely safe!”

Dudian nodded. It seed that the civilians were the most affected by the chaos in the inner wall. The nobles and monasteries had enough power to protect themselves in the chaos.

He asked: “Have the army entered the city to clean up the undeads?”

The old man felt strange but replied in a low voice: “The army has co a few tis but only took a few people away. It is said that the army will co to deal with them soon.”

Dudian understood that the army had temporarily given up on ordinary civilians. It was like the last ti he saw them. They had given priority to protecting the nobles. Perhaps the military would choose the nobles from the chaos, they would be able to use lightning to clean up the ss. As for whether ordinary civilians would be implicated or not, it would depend on their own luck.

“I have sothing to do. I will take my leave first.”Dudian didn’t stay any longer and was ready to leave.

The old man was stunned.

“Big Brother, don’t go. Those people will eat people.”At this ti, Dudian’s wrist was pulled by the little girl. He looked down and saw that the little girl’s face was dirty, but at the mont she was anxiously pulling him: “Once you go out, they will eat you. You will go with us. As long as we go to the Baron, we will be safe.”

The old man saw the situation: “Yes Yes, you will go with us!”

Dudian looked at him. He knew that the old man wanted to borrow him to protect them. But the little girl obviously didn’t see this. He raised his hand and touched the little girl’s head. He looked at her pure eyes, he sighed: “Poor Child.”

The old man quickly said: “The child’s parents went out to look for food a few days ago. Now only the child is left alone…”

Dudian slightly shook his head and interrupted him. He took out half a bottle of undead powder and handed it to the old man, “You Sar this thing on your body. These monsters won’t chase after you. As for the ones in front, I will take care of them for you. You should seize the opportunity to leave.”

The old man was startled. He held the small bottle in his hand and was a bit confused.

Dudian had already taken Aisha out of the alley. He strode towards the few undeads at the corner.

The undeads felt Aisha’s sll as they were close to her. The malevolence on their faces suddenly disappeared. They shivered and their mouths were full of sharp teeth.

Dudian grabbed the handle of the knife and swung it in a circle. The heads of the undeads were cut off. He walked straight away without looking back.

The old man and the little girl were stunned. They waited for a long ti after Dudian left before they reacted. The old man imdiately opened the bottle and poured out the powder to sar on his body, then he held the little girl’s hand and carefully walked along the street.

Dudian walked to the front of a forest. In front of him was the Monster Institute. He looked back at the street. The old man and the little girl had gone far away. His eyes slightly flickered, he looked at Aisha: “I have hard many people like them. Don’t you think it’s hypocritical of to save them out of sympathy? Sure enough, it is difficult for people to control the stimulation brought by the senses. Visual touch can control emotions…”

Aisha was silent as if she had acquiesced.

Dean shook his head slightly and no longer looked at it. He slowly went deeper into the forest.

The moonlight didn’t shine into the forest. It was dark inside but under Dudian’s night vision everything was as bright as day. He killed the poisonous snakes and insects that ambushed him. Soon he walked out of the forest. There was a small hill in front of him, there was a flat building on top of it. It was the Institute of Monsters.

The structure of the Institute of Monsters was the sa as the one in Carn City. Dudian could see that there was a nine-story underground institute under the hill. There was no activity on the ninth floor. There were only so items on the other side, it seed that the ninth floor was too deep and the humidity on the ground would affect the experint.

This ti Dudian found that the range of his perspective was much larger than before. Moreover the things he could see were much clearer. His confidence increased a bit. He raised his hand to hold the knife to ensure that nothing was wrong, he directly activated the magic body. The knife lted and covered his body like a living black mucus. Soon, his appearance turned into a ferocious human-shaped beast. His arms were long and scythe-like.

Whoosh!

His body flashed as the leaves on the ground splashed. The Breeze brushed past the leaves and swayed slightly.

There were eight people guarding the building. The defense was the sa as that of the Monster Institute in Carn City. Dudian quickly approached and broke through an open window.

The young man who was holding the blade was talking to his companion. He didn’t notice that Dudian was suddenly alert when he jumped through the window. He was about to turn his head when a cold light flashed past. His movent suddenly froze, his head fell down.

Dudian didn’t stop as he killed one person in an instant. He jumped towards the person who was chatting with the youth. It was a beautiful woman who was wearing armor. She was stunned for a mont but quickly reacted and retreated, however Dudian’s speed was as fast as a tiger. Her back hit the wall and the next mont she saw the terrifying figure in front of her.

Puff! Dudian’s arm passed by and turned to another place. He didn’t look back at the result.

He saw the position of the eight people when he attacked. He planned all the actions and sequence of the attacks. When he attacked the third person, the others reacted and imdiately shouted in anger, at the sa ti he activated the magic body to surround Dudian.

“Too slow!”Dudian’s dark golden eyes slightly turned. Every ti his arm crossed the human body he would feel a sense of pleasure. He suddenly changed his mind when he saw the group of people surrounding him, he gave up on the original plan to attack them one by one. He suddenly realized that these people were not on the sa level as the last ti he t them.

Moreover the splitter was the legendary monster that was not afraid of group battles!

It could be said that the splitter was a monster that was born for group battles. The more it was in the army, the more it could unleash its destructive power to the extre!

Puff! Puff! Puff!

Dudian’s tail was spinning rapidly. The structure of his tail was extrely special. Every part of his tail could open up and beco a fierce blade bush. At this mont, it was dancing and shooting out in an instant, the four people who ca over imdiately fell to the ground. They didn’t have ti to scream. Their injuries were too horrible to look at. Their faces were blurred. From the neck to the upper half of their chest they were all broken. It was as if they had been cut by a sharp blade countless tis.

Dudian’s knees slightly bent. He suddenly rushed forward and rushed to the person in front of him who was about to escape. He hugged him with both hands. To be precise, he pierced through his back and out of his chest.

“No, don’t –”the other man was scared out of his wits when he saw Dudian turn his head. He knelt down and begged. He knew that he couldn’t escape from Dudian’s speed.

Dudian quickly rushed forward and cut off the man’s head. He didn’t hesitate to beg.

He looked at the corpse on the ground. He felt that the excitent in his mind was getting stronger and stronger. There was an extrely pleasant feeling in his heart. He didn’t expect his strength to be so strong, he had observed the heat reaction of the eight people. Five of them showed the heat reaction of the high-level limiters. However, he didn’t have the strength to fight back.

“With my current strength, ordinary pioneers should be able to fight. Unless I et a god of war, it will be difficult for .”Dudian thought as he stepped on the door, he entered the research institute.

Although the previous fight was short but it still alerted the guards. Dudian went down the stairs and t a few guards who were rushing up to check the situation. He imdiately took action and dealt with them.

When Dudian ca to the underground laboratory, he saw that so people were still conducting experints. They didn’t notice the chaos outside. So people opened the door and ca out of the laboratory, they were asking the guards what had happened.

Dudian was more familiar with the last robbery. He killed all the guards. As for the experinters, he let them escape.

An hour later.

Dudian carried a three ter tall storage bag and escorted a middle-aged man with glasses out of the institute. The middle-aged man was called Sumr Manson. He was the director of the Institute and also the Doctor here, there were two doctors in the institute. The other one happened to be out tonight. He had received an invitation from a noble to attend a banquet.

“Walk faster.”Dudian shouted.

“It’s not that I’m slow. It’s that you are too fast.”Shamanson bitterly smiled as he took a few steps forward.

Dudian took him to the edge of the woods. He shook the bell and asked Aisha to follow him. They continued to walk through the woods and ca to the street outside.

Sumr Manson said: “I heard that the Monster Institute in Carn City was attacked not long ago. That person is you. Who Are You? How dare you go against Our Monster Institute? Do you know how dangerous it is?”

“Do you know Poland? You will see him later.”Dudian said: “He will tell you what to do.”

Shamanson was surprised: “Poland is still alive?”

“You are also alive.”

“I know.”

There was no communication along the way.

Dudian went back the way he ca. He walked through a few streets. Suddenly a red dot ca into his eyes. His pupils shrank. He looked up and saw that the red dot was flying from the sky, its body was emitting an astonishing heat. It was as strong as the pioneers he saw in the wasteland of the Dragon Clan.

“Support? It Ca So Soon?”Dudian was shocked.

But at this ti, the figure flew over. It didn’t slow down at all. It flew over the heads of the three people and flew into the distance.

Dudian was startled for a mont. It seed that the person didn’t co for Charmanson. It seed that he was in a hurry to go sowhere. He didn’t notice them. He had practiced the dragon blood technique so that the heat in his body was always low. Moreover, Charmanson was an ordinary person so it was even more insignificant. Needless to say, Haisha’s body didn’t have any heat fluctuation.

Charmanson looked at the rapidly disappearing figure. The excitent in his eyes suddenly beca dull. He couldn’t help but stomp his feet. He was so angry that he wanted to curse.

Dudian looked at him: “It seems that this person has an urgent matter. You are destined to fall into my hands.”

Charmanson heard his words and held back the anger on his face, he pretended to be calm: “It’s nothing. He should be rushing to Baron Angela’s castle. There should be a situation there. It’s better to save more people than to save here.”

“Oh?”Dudian frowned. Baron Angela? He suddenly thought of the old man and the little girl he had t earlier. It seed that they were going to take refuge there. Could it be that the place was not safe?

Wait a minute. The people who had rushed to the castle were pioneers. Could it be that there were pioneers? Could it be Eleanor who he had thrown back to the inner wall?

As he thought of this, his thoughts were in turmoil. The images of the old man and the little girl flashed through his mind.

The reason why he thought of them was not because he was worried about their safety.

Instead, it was because what he planned to do would very likely cause the two people who had just helped him to be sacrificed there.

When he thought of the possibility of Eleanor appearing there, the first thing he thought of was to stop the pioneers who had just rushed there. To him, there were very few pioneer-level zombies. If he could protect one, he would be able to protect one.., the main force that was really holding back the inner wall was also relying on these limiter-level zombies and pioneer-level zombies.

However, if he helped Eleanor, it would be equivalent to sacrificing everyone in Baron Angeli’s Castle!

“The plan can not be ssed up…”he closed his eyes slightly and discarded the images in his mind. He turned his head to look at Aisha beside him and took a deep breath, he said to Charmanson coldly, “Lead the way to Baron Angeli’s castle.”

“Go There? Why?”Charmanson was surprised. This was in a completely different direction.

“Help.”
