Grrrr!

Grrrr!

Low growls and groans began to fill the air, as Nellas activated the ’Dark Zombie’s Instinct’ skill, and, just as he did that, his skin began to rot and his eyes beca blood red.

His nails beca sharp and the veins on his neck slowly protruded.

Shortly, most of the skin on his face had rotted off, revealing the flesh underneath it. His once handso face had now turned into an ugly zombie’s one.

"Arrghhh!"

The monster that used to be human, let out a roar, and, as soon as he did that, the hares’ movents slowed down, and their bodies froze in fear.

Their crimson-red eyes had gone wide, and a shiver ran down their spine.

Their white hair began to stand at the end, and their ears laid flat against their head.

Because they knew better.

They knew what was going to happen next.

The zombie was going to slaughter them.

Just the thought of it was enough to make the rabbits shiver, and, make them wish they had never t him.

"Grrr,"

Nellas growled, and then, he charged towards the first rabbit, which was trembling with fear.

As of now, he had completely turned into a Dark Zombie.

And, his instinct was telling him to ’Kill, kill, kill, tear, tear, tear, and bite, bite, bite’.

So, he did that.

With a single leap, he landed in front of the hare and, before it could run away, he grabbed its neck.

"Guh,"

The creature’s scream was cut short as the zombie’s claws dug into its throat, and in an instant, the hare’s eyes went blank.

Its head was now dangling and the blood that was oozing out of its neck was making the ground wet.

"Grrr,"

With an unceremonious shove, he threw the lifeless corpse to the side and charged towards the next target.

Bam~!

In a split second, the rabbit’s face had t the zombie’s knee and a cracking sound was heard as its skull was broken into pieces.

The rabbit was dead before its body hit the ground.

"Grrr,"

Without missing a beat, the zombie once again charged towards the monsters and his eyes were full of rage and lust.

Kill, kill, kill, and, the urge to devour flesh had taken over his mind.

This was the Dark Zombie’s Instinct.

And, right now, Nellas was under its effect.

"Arrrghhh!!!"

His roars resounded throughout the area, and the sounds of bones breaking, and flesh being ripped apart, were a common thing to hear.

The white rabbits were dying left and right, and their blood was staining the ground and the trees around them.

Soon, all the monsters were killed, and, the only thing that was left was a puddle of blood and the lifeless corpses.

"Argh,"

The zombie groaned as the dark, rotten skin on his face slowly began to regrow, and his eyes returned to their original color.

Soon, his skin beca clean and smooth, the veins on his neck had disappeared, and, his nails had turned into the original shape.

’Looks like I am back,’

He thought and glanced at the system screen.

After reading through the ssage, a soft, "Hmm," escaped his lips.

"Do these rabbit’s bodies count as an evolved form? Or, should I look for sothing else?"

He asked as his eyes scanned the corpse in front of him.

The monsters were all lying on the ground, and, their limbs were scattered all over the place, while the red liquid had soaked the lush, green grass.

The scene was truly disgusting, and the sll of the blood and the dead carcasses was enough to make a person vomit.

But, for Nellas, the scene in front of him was beautiful, and the sll of the blood and the corpses was enough to make his mouth water.

After all, he was a Dark Zombie who craved for flesh and blood.

Ding!

[Yes, it does count as an evolved form. In fact, anything you consu will be counted as an evolved form.]

The system’s answer was short and concise, and, it cleared all of his doubts.

’So, I can eat the dead rabbit and beco a Red-Eyed Hare.’

Nellas nodded his head, and his lips curved into a smile.

’However, it doesn’t appeal to as much as reviving it and making it the first evolving monster under my control does,’

Saying that he walked towards one of the rabbit’s corpses that seed fully intact, and without wasting any ti, he picked it up.

"Hmm, now what, System? How do I revive it?"

Ding!

[Say, ’Dark Rebirth’ and the rest will follow. However, keep in mind that every ti you use this ability, 25 Dark Mana points will be consud.]

After reading the system’s reply, he nodded his head, and, the words imdiately left his mouth.

"Dark Rebirth!"

Suddenly, the rabbit’s corpse in his hand began to tremble, and its limbs began to twist and turn, while its eyes started glowing.

Ding!

Congratulations, the dead rabbit has been revived successfully.

Now, it is the Host’s pet.

You can also na it if you want.

If you na the monster, it will give it more strength, and the ability to grow and evolve, without your help.]

Soon, the creature was standing on its four legs, and its crimson-red eyes were looking at him.

Its once white and soft fur had beco black and rough, and its teeth had turned into razor-sharp, canine-like fangs.

However, the most important thing was the fact that the rabbit didn’t have any intention to attack him.

In fact, the rabbit was completely obedient and soon after it was reborn it quickly lowered its head, showing that it was completely submissive to him.

Nevertheless, as Nellas looked at the creature, he couldn’t help but feel the urge to tear and shred its flesh and bones.

’So, this is the effect of the Dark Zombie’s Instinct,’

His eyes narrowed, and, the desire to devour the rabbit grew even more.

However, he didn’t let himself lose control.

Instead, he took a deep breath, and, when his senses were a bit more calm, he looked at the rabbit.

"A na, huh?" He pondered, and his lips curved into a smile as he ca up with the perfect na.

"Blackie, let’s call you ’Blackie’, because of your new fur."

As he said the na, the rabbit’s ears moved and, its eyes lit up, indicating that it had understood his words.

’Looks like it likes the na,’

He smiled and looked at the system screen that had appeared after he had given the creature a na.

Ding!
