Chapter 84
Chu Yunsheng and Lan Chaoyin were heading towards the west on the national highway, in the pitch-black suburb. Because of the limited visibility, broken cars, and the bodies on the highway, they couldn’t drive very fast.
A lot of regular citizens also started to co out of the fog city, most of them did not have any transportation tools. But since they all knew Jin Ling city was the safest city, they all headed towards the west.

Commander Yang suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart, he imdiately held up the politician commissar, “Lao Quan! Why are you doing this!? They were startled and instantly took out the infrared binoculars. At the front line, just right behind the insect’s swarm, a thin long tank gun slowly appeared in the dark. Then a group of awakened warriors quickly rushed out and started to attack the red-shelled insects from behind!

Yang Baili finally sighed with relief. He then shouted, “Du Qishang you bastard!”

Chu Yunsheng could see explosions, rockets, and fires spreading across the sky, and the red-shelled insects spreading across the ground. There were so many insects in the swarm that it even made his soul tremble.
There was no way he and Lan Chaoyin could get through this swarm of red-shelled insects.
He imdiately told Lan Chaoyin to turn around. He didn’t want the insects to notice them. If the insects noticed them, then it would be too late!
There was a big lake in the north, if they headed that way, the journey would be too long. They had to head to the south and find a way to go around the swarm!
They were not far from Gu Shu city, however, Chu Yunsheng was scared that Gu Shu city would be like the fog city – Kun city, so he didn’t agree to Lan Chaoyin’s idea of going through Gu Shu city.
Then they started to see more and more people. Most of them ca from Shen Cheng city, and most of them did not have any cars. They were all moving on foot.
The only light sources in the crowd were the fire torches. Although they were not very bright, with the number of torches they had, it was already enough to light up the sky above them.
People tended to follow where the fire torches went, they did not have a sense of direction nor did they want to go into the dark alone.
They felt safe to be in the crowd or near the light, even Chu Yunsheng had that feeling as well.
At least, when they encountered dangers, the more people there were in the crowd, the higher the chances of surviving.
Lan Chaoyin had already stopped using her ability, she said that she did not have much energy left, and she needed to keep so to protect herself, but who knows if she was telling the truth.
Once the fla disappeared, the motorbike beca a regular motorbike. It needed to consu petrol, but Chu Yunsheng wasn’t worried. because he still had so in his storage talisman.
Lan Chaoyin’s riding skill was undoubtedly good. She used every possible route in the crowd, but then it started to cause trouble.

Turning around in fear, he imdiately saw that around four green-shelled insects were diving down at them. The crowds panicked, people were running into each other, pushing each other, trying to find a place to hide.
Chu Yunsheng held onto Lan Chaoyin and clenched his legs to lock himself onto the motorbike. He then suddenly forced himself to lean to the left with the bike to dodge the green-shelled insects’ dive attack. However, it also caused the motorbike to imdiately fall down and slide on the ground very far.
At the sa ti, people at the back shouted, “insect! They have caught up with us!”
