Master Xing Cheng also nodded. The North Sea was the footing of the Python Tribe; after a hundred years of managent, it could be called their lair, and there was absolutely no possibility they would give it up so easily. They would surely find a way to suppress the sea‑tide; thus East Victory Continent could sleep soundly without worry, and in passing they could secretly calculate against it once. Most likely the Zhongtai Sect had long been waiting for this very day.
Wei Daoist, however, said coldly, "So what? That Demon Tribe has a Cave Heaven True Master sitting in town; dealing with this matter should not be difficult. At most it will rely add so trouble."
Master Xing Cheng shook his head and sighed. "That is the reasoning. Once one’s cultivation reaches that step, their Divine Power Techniques are no longer sothing people like us can fathom."
Zeng Conglun gave a dry laugh, glanced at Wei Daoist, and said, "Now the situation within Divine House Mountain is unstable; that Daoist Zhang must be having a headache. If we go knock on his door at this ti..."
Hearing these words, everyone present turned their eyes over to look.
Who would have thought that Wei Daoist would instead say decisively, "Wait until he has passed through this calamity, then go seek him."
She, being a Little Cang Realm Disciple, naturally carried her own pride; she felt she could make the other party willingly hand people over. As for this act of taking advantage of another’s danger, she disdained to do it.
Zeng Conglun secretly cried what a pity. If this Daoist nun had agreed at this mont and led everyone to press their way to the door, the matter would likely have been settled quickly.
They were clearly relying on power to seize another’s Disciple, yet still putting on this fake lofty air?
Though he was grumbling inwardly, on the surface he still echoed, "That is so. Kicking soone when they are down is not what we cultivators speak of. Let us quietly watch the changes. That seawater will probably recede in ten days or half a month; in any case we won’t be waiting many days."
After Zhang Yan issued the decree, the thirty‑eight Sects within Divine House Mountain did not dare defy the order. The several thousand Cultivators in the mountain all began to move; every day there were over a thousand Flying Boats coming and going, ferrying people back and forth. Though the people of the various countries were many, yet with the Cultivators exerting themselves to assist, after several months they had all been relocated into East Divine House Mountain.
Within the Cave Mansion on Cangzhu Peak, Chu Muran reported, "Senior Sect Brother Sect Leader, although the Spiritual Shells produced by the seven shell fields of my Divine House Mountain have already been moved into the immortal city, once the seawater arrives, I fear all the shell fields will be damaged."
Wen Liang, however, took it lightly, saying, "So long as we are still here, if they are gone we can simply build them again. A thousand years ago, was not our West Divine House the sa barren mountains and desolate ridges as East Divine House?"
Zhang Yan smiled and nodded. "Junior Brother speaks reasonably."
Chu Muran said, "In this relocation of the common folk of the various countries, among the thirty‑eight Sects, the E Mountain Sect contributed the most. The other sects, though not outstanding, also acted in accordance with the decree. Only Longxiang Sect entirely ignored Senior Brother’s decree; not only was there no movent within the sect for a long ti, but it was only several days ago that their Sect Leader was seen taking a dozen or so Disciples and over a thousand servants and going off to East Divine House."
Within Divine House Mountain, Longxiang Sect counted as rather aloof and independent, ordinarily never interacting with the sa path. As early as when the E Mountain Sect held the immortal city, they did not pay up their offerings. After Zhang Yan replaced them in the position of control, seeing that this Sect had rely several dozen people at most, Yong Fu probably had his reasons for acting thus. Since he had not broken the old precedent, he had simply let them be. Yet to dare act like this in this matter was openly refusing to heed the decree of him, the immortal city’s master.
Zhang Yan’s eye‑light flickered and he asked, "Does this Sect have any Mortals worshiping under it?"
Zhao Ge also said, "Longxiang Sect only ca to Divine House Mountain a hundred years ago. At first they were invited as Sacrifice by two small walled towns. After a hundred years, that land and waters held over a hundred thousand people. But in this flight from disaster, this Sect brought only the servants in the sect, and completely abandoned the rest of the Mortals. In the end it was Daoist Tong Sun Tong of Xuhua Sect who could not bear it and sent those common folk away."
Chu Muran, rarely, spoke in anger: "After hearing of this, this junior once sent Disciples to question them, but Longxiang Sect did not respond in the least, and did not even deign to give half a sentence."
Zhang Yan said faintly, "Transmit my decree: henceforth, any Longxiang Sect Disciple is not allowed to set foot half a step into the immortal city."
The three all had their expressions tighten and said, "Yes."
With this order, if Longxiang Sect did not honestly withdraw from Divine House Mountain, it could only choose to stand against Han Yuan Sect.
In forr days, even Yong Fu did not dare easily offend Longxiang Sect; they were likely of so origin. Yet now was different from the past. This Senior Sect Brother Sect Leader possessed vast Divine Skills and extraordinary ans; naturally he had no such misgivings.
Sea View Cliff, East Divine House.
Longxiang Sect Sect Leader Shao Zhongxiang stood with his hands behind his back at the edge of the cliff. On his back were thrust two Dharma Swords, one male and one female, their hilts hung with long crimson tassels, faintly giving off an air of soaring.
His appearance was strange. His eyeballs were just a bit small; seen from afar, it was as though he had no pupils at all, only a large expanse of eye‑white, extrely grim. His forehead rose high like a knoll, the hair bun on his head stood upright like Lingzhi, with a double‑bent dragon‑serpent hairpin stuck in it. His body was wrapped in a bright‑red satin robe; when it fluttered in the wind, it was as though blazing fire‑clouds were billowing. Within ten zhang of where he stood, it seed as though threads of cold, sharp, baleful Qi were spreading out; whether turf or soil and stone were all shattered and broken. Even his own Disciples kept far away.
At this mont the sea had already raised an evil wind. As he gazed far out, he saw at the distant line where sea and sky t streaks of lightning flashing, a mass of extrely bright cloud‑Qi rising up, brilliant in five colors, gradually dyeing the entire sky. Seeing this on, he knew that the tide calamity was about to arrive.
He pointed with his hand. With a clear ring, a sword ball flew out, circled twice around him, then turned into a wisp of Clear Qi and returned into his nostrils.
He laughed loudly and said, "Back then my honored master left a comntary: in the tide calamity’s Vortex Tribulation, the dragon soars and the phoenix bows; my opportunity has finally co. Chen Yuan, the humiliation of that day I shall repay a hundredfold."
In those days he had a demon body in cultivation. Because it was rare to have talent for learning the sword, he was taken in as a disciple by the previous Sect Leader of Fengxiang Sword Sect. Yet he suffered heavy discrimination. After that old Sect Leader passed away, there was no place for him in the sect; thus he went alone to sea, seeking Dao and learning the sword abroad. Only a hundred‑plus years ago did he return and establish Longxiang Sect here, all for the sake of competing with Fengxiang Sword on equal terms.
Just then he suddenly heard a few Disciples below whispering behind him: "Senior Brother is giving that Han Yuan Sect no face at all like this. I fear that Daoist Zhang will co to seek fault with our sect."
"What is there to fear? If not for Master usually caring only about honing his swordsmanship, with no ti to pay them any heed, how would that Daoist Zhang have had a turn to sit in the immortal city’s seat of power? If he doesn’t co, that counts as knowing his place; if he does, we’ll make sure he looks bad."
"Han Yuan Sect?" Shao Zhongxiang gave a cold snort. His whole mind was set on sparring with Fengxiang Sect; he had never taken the sects within Divine House Mountain to heart. Ordinarily he rely could not be bothered. If they dared to co provoke him, they would be just right to use as a Sacrificial Sword.
