[Vol.3] Quest 200.3- Tales of Orario, A Pallum’s Grind4th floor.

The two arrogant level 1 adventures turn to Lili using her magic to disguise herself.
"That’s right sirs!" She said with a slightly deeper voice than her own. "Did you buy a disease potion?"
"I did, but still though! Who just tells you got an STD after you fuck’em!?"
"Hahaha, you're right!"
‘Disgusting bastards!! I’ll be sure to loot everything off your backs!’
Lili was currently about to steal everything off the adventures she is supporting for. She took out a few smoke bombs and lit them.
"Hey, I see another monster over there!" She points out.
"Huh? Where? I don’t see—Poof!!"
They were surrounded by smoke. Lili moved quickly. She pulled out her brass knuckles and punched them both as quickly and as hard as she could in their balls while screaming to seem as though she is being kidnapped.
"Help!! Help!! Thud!!"
"Guah!!"
"I’m being kidnapped!! Thud!!!"
"Ahh!!"
Thud!! Thud!!
Even before the smoke cleared, Lili was already taking all of their stuff. She rembered what they had on them and left them with only their underwear and two cheap knives.
"Bye-bye!!" She said, quickly running away.
The mont she turned the corner, she quickly changed her appearance into soone else and kept running all the way to the surface.
She sold all the magic stones and monster drops and left for Daedalus.
"Fuu~ Another hard day of robbing assholes!" She said laying on her futon. "Hup!" She takes off her boots that give her a few more feet in height and puts them neatly next to several more boots of varying sizes. "Haa…Sora sir. I really wish you were here. Or maybe... You could have taken
with you? No!" She snapped herself out of it. "I can do this! He left
enough stuff to make the money to pay off the debt!"
She got up, took a shower, made herself so food, and went to sleep.
The next day she went to The Library. After stealing from adventures Lili would take a break from doing it again.
"Thanks, D!" She said entering while in disguise.
"Hm," He nods. "Lord Anansi wishes to see you."
"Another job?"
"Hm." He nods.
"Alright. Thanks for telling ."
During the 7 years since Cirrus had left, Lili had gotten an invitation to The Library. It was partially due to her being close to Cirrus that she was admitted.
Given the nature of The Library, one of its primary sources of inco is brokering information. Sothing Lili was quite adept at obtaining.
"Lord Anansi! What's the job and how much am I getting paid!"
"Always on the grind, Ms. Liliruca." He said still reading his book. He glanced up from his book at her. "It will be 400k upon completion. The client wants to know their whole schedule." He reached into his attire and pulled out a folded-up paper. "All the details are here."
"Any recovery jobs?" She said, walking up and taking the paper.
"No. Due to the Gale’s actions, followed by the Loki, Freya, and Ganesha Familia’s cri has significantly dropped, so the rate of recovery jobs has dwindled."
"Damn. They pay really good."
"Very. Good luck."
Leaving, Lili reads what she needs to do.
"Again? These inter-Familia affairs are getting more common."
She would do stakes out disguised as an improvised Pallum. The job in question takes about one to two weeks to finish.
This was how Lili would spend her days collecting money. With expenses for her tools, food, clothes, and shelter, she was set to be debt free in 2 years at the pace she was going.
"Hm! Hm! Tomorrow is another day to make money!"
Sadly, Cirrus did not teach her about Murphy’s Law.
The next day, in the east section of Orario.
"Shit!! Shit!! Shit!!" Lili was running for her life.
"You fucking little shit!!" shouted an angry adventurer.
"We are going to fucking kill you!!" shouted another.
"We are going to get our money back and toss you into the dungeon!!" Shouted one of the adventures she recently looted.
'Damn! Damn! Damn!! How!? I was careful in everything!! Was it my height!? Dammit!! I’m too far away from Daedalus!! Dammit!! I have to lose them!!’
Lili took off as fast as she could. She went through dark alleyways and threw everything to slow them down. For her, she knew these streets like the back of her hand.
"Haha!! Lili gets away again—!"
"Eh?" said a white-haired boy.
"Shi—!?"
Trip!!
Wham!!
"Ahh!! Dammit! My face!" Lili said on the ground.
"E-excuse . I’m sorry for—"
"Ugh…" She turned to et the boy’s ruby eyes.
"Are you okay—"
"FOUND HER!! THERE’S THE BITCH!!!"
"Ah dammit!"
As Lili tried to get up, she felt a sharp pain in her ankle.
‘Did I sprain my ankle!? What the fuck!!!’
She looked up to see the group of angry n coming up to her.
"You shitty Pallum!!"
"Yer not getting’ away!!"
"!?" Lili was cornered. She still had the hidden weapons in her clothes, but most of her actual damage dealers were in the bag she abandoned to escape.
"Co over—!?"
"Stop!!" The white-haired boy stood before her and the angry adventurers.
She could see his hand slightly shaking from the fear, yet he stood as tall as he could.
"Hey, brat. Outta the way."
"Beat it Mr. Knight in Shinning Armor, before we kick your ass."
"And sell all your shit!"
"I-I-I don’t k-know what happened, but please calm down!"
"Are you friends with this little Pallum cunt!!"
"N-no! I am just doing it because it is right!"
"Oh~ we have a hero here!" said one of the adventurers as he drew his weapon.
Bell places his hand on his dagger, ready for what happens next.
"I-I’ll buy you as much ti as I can." He said, gathering his strength.
Lili could see vestiges of him, Sora (Cirrus). It has been a long ti since she needed to be saved.
"Tsk! Get him!!"
They all drew their weapons and ca at him.
"Freeze."
"!?!?"
Everyone was frozen in place. They could feel an intense looming bloodlust. They looked to see an elf with green hair in a green maid outfit carrying a bag of groceries.
"!!" Lili instantly knew who it was. She knew those fierce sky-blue eyes and faces, even under her mask.
‘The Gale!? Sora’s Familia!! We can get out of this ss!!’
Ryuu turned to face Bell, then Lili. When she t Lili’s eyes, she recognized her.
"…Leave now. You are trying to harm my coworker’s destined companion and my Familia brother’s helper."
