New armor
I carefully created a "track" inside the box to move the marbles properly and even labeled the buttons to prevent confusion. I then created the "top" of the box that was in fact a curse tool in and of itself that was a jackbird's golden egg refined, ascended and ford into a "speaker" of sorts that when a marble was "played" created the exact sound recorded on the marble in clear and precise volu. Just for shits and giggles I also created an amplifier that could be used to make the sound louder as well in a controlled way.-
The whole thing was made of Adamantite with detailed golden engraved images of people singing and playing instrunts. It took all day and three potions to finish the box and send word to Ptah that I was done with his order. It ca as little surprise when he showed up first thing in the morning with a palpable excitent.
"Ah Alex my fabulous man I am simply beyond delighted to have received word of your completion of my commission!" the dark skinned god said with a wide smile and bright eyes.
"You certainly didn't make it easy on with your vague requirent." I said with a smile.
"I understand. Admittedly I was curious what that beautiful mind of yours would manifest into reality when I made this request." he said slightly apologetically.
"I assud so, I hope you'll be as happy with my creation as I am." I said as I went into my workshop and retrieved the box.
Ptah's eyes lit up as he beheld the detailed images upon it's surface before even understanding what it did.
"It's gorgeous Alex truly! Why I can almost hear the sweet lody they sing by rely gazing upon this objects surface!" he said excitedly as he ran a finger over the figures with a wide smile.
"I figured you'd be pleased with the extra work I did to pretty it up for you." I said with a grin and he nodded agreeing whole heartedly.
"Yes you never fail to disappoint Alex! I would be happy to have this in my collection even if it didn't have a separate function! Ah! Speaking of would you explain what it is please?" he asked happily.
"Oh you are going to lose your mind once I am done telling you just what you have in your hands there." I say with a grin before explaining what the box did and how.
"Remarkable! If I am understanding correctly I could use this magic item to record and listen to any thirty conversations or songs I so wish as if I were listening to it in person?" he said questioningly and I nodded.
"There is a limit of five minutes worth of recording space in each of the marbles but yes that is how it works." I said proudly.
"Marvelous work as always my friend, truly you have outdone yourself this ti! This will hold a place of honor amongst my belongings that only the best pieces of art have!" he said praising my work highly.
I got my paynt for the box later that day and stored it in the vault with the rest of our rather sizable fortune. Ptah like always was very generous with his paynt as it was easily enough to purchase three master crafted pieces of first grade equipnt from Hephaestus herself. Financial status settled I chose to spend the next few days of my bodies adjustnt to my new stats working on replacing my lost armor that until now I had only had a unenchanted set of.-
This ti however I planned to make the most durable set of armor likely possible with the bones and hide of the goliath. To be specific I was sitting in the chair in my workshop with my eyes closed as the hide sat on my lap glowing faintly. My power seeped into every part of it and forced all the impurities out while enhancing the entire thing evenly to be more and more durable. When I was done a layer of gray dust sat on the hide and I shook the thing to get rid of it revealing the true appearance of it from under those impurities.-
The hide was now considerably smaller and unlike the gray brown coloration that the goliaths hide normally had this one was now a gleaming bronze like a strange tallic cloth. I set that aside and reached into the pile of goliath bones that imdiately began to liquefy and fuse like a strange demonic bone sludge that I lifted up and began to condense into a single orb the size of . I then downed an undiluted mana potion now that I could and in fact NEEDED to in order to refill my cursed energy reservoir quickly.-
Once I was topped off I began to refine and further improve the mass of bone just as i had with the hide though this ti my focus wasn't just on durability but the innate regenerative properties held within the bones. It was only when I pushed the mass to the utmost limit of my ability and almost to the verge of ascension that I was done. Much like the hide the bone mass was reduced to about three fifths the size it was originally but was far far more potent for it.-
I then stripped naked and draped the hide over my shoulders while using my technique to weave it into a full body suit that I set for the base of my armor. I then grabbed the orb of bone and it slithered over the hide to fully coat it and I created an opening on the front that I stepped out of before sealing shut again to get to work from there. I separated the suit at the waist into two parts with one for the upper body and one for the lower. I slipped on the pants and began to modify them for my purpose. -
A zipper ford at the front from bone while the rest of the coated bone began to move to cover the thighs, calves and knees in a denser layer while the joints remained unobstructed. I styled the bone plates in a jagged demonic manner while creating black fire and ice patterns on them. For the chest piece I repeated the process except I split the front of it like a jacket while creating latches to cover this split from the bone. Once my new armor was done I took four cursed stones and carefully fused them onto the elbow and knees of the armor set before imbuing a cursed technique for self repair and several durability properties into both pieces of the armor by hijacking the regenerative aspect of the goliath in the materials.
