"Mm, not only have I seen him, but I’ve also crossed hands with him."

Zhu Fei nodded slightly, his gaze making a quick pass over the other police officers present.

Qiu Ruoxue felt a shock in her heart, but she imdiately understood Zhu Fei’s ssage and nodded back at him, "Mm, co with ."

Following her words, Zhu Fei accompanied Qiu Ruoxue to a secluded area.

Once they were alone, Qiu Ruoxue’s expression beca serious as she looked at Zhu Fei anew, "Zhu Fei, tell exactly what happened just now?"

Earlier, Qiu Ruoxue had already asked the teachers and students present at the scene, but had not obtained any useful concrete clues.

Pan Tingting, as Zhu Fei’s friend, naturally knew to keep secrets on behalf of Zhu Fei; therefore, she didn’t reveal anything when questioned by the police.

As for Tang ngyun, she knew even less, having had her eyes covered by Zhu Fei and Pan Tingting the whole ti.

At Qiu Ruoxue’s question, Zhu Fei frowned slightly as well.

After a mont of thought, he said, "Just as you had suspected earlier, that murderer is indeed a martial artist, and not just any martial artist, but one in the interdiate stage of Light Power..."

Zhu Fei did not hold back but recounted everything that had just transpired in full detail to Qiu Ruoxue.

After listening to Zhu Fei’s account, Qiu Ruoxue’s face once again showed anger, and then her brows deeply furrowed.

"So, you’re saying that the so-called murderer is actually two people? Or should I say, the culprit related to that murderer should be two people?" Qiu Ruoxue pondered.

"Mm, I think that’s probably the case, at least from what we currently know. Why? It sounds like even the police don’t know this. You’re not going to tell that the police don’t even know what that murderer looks like, are you?"

In saying this, a flash of surprise crossed Zhu Fei’s face, and he couldn’t help but feel sowhat speechless.

Qiu Ruoxue gave Zhu Fei an annoyed look and said irritably, "What do you think? You know what martial artists are like. Besides those in certain departnts, it’s extrely difficult for us local police to deal with them."

Qiu Ruoxue’s words still carried a bit of an idealistic tone.

The idea that they would have difficulty dealing with martial artists was sowhat of an understatent—they had no real ans to deal with them at all.

The police force had lost several officers to this point, yet they had not even seen the real face of the murderer. The difficulty, or rather the impossibility, of ordinary police dealing with martial artists was evident.

Zhu Fei didn’t call Qiu Ruoxue out on her statent but rather beca curious about the "departnt" she had ntioned, "What departnt were you referring to just now that can even match martial artists?"

Zhu Fei’s question caused Qiu Ruoxue’s heart to skip a beat, realizing she had spoken without guard and let slip more than she intended.

Her expression changed slightly as she seriously said, "Zhu Fei, I know you’re not just any ordinary person, but rember not to repeat what I just said to anyone. It’s a ’national’ secret. Speaking of it out loud, whether for you or , will bring no good."

Seeing Qiu Ruoxue’s earnestness, Zhu Fei did not press further, and with a shrug and a smile, he reassured, "Don’t worry, as long as they don’t provoke , I naturally won’t take any particular interest in them."

"Hmph! As if they would co to provoke you?"

Qiu Ruoxue was clearly dissatisfied with Zhu Fei’s response and looked at him disdainfully as she huffed.

Though Qiu Ruoxue was not deeply acquainted with Zhu Fei, she knew his temperant well enough to avoid furthering this topic and turned the conversation back, "Zhu Fei, from what you were saying earlier, it seems the perverted murderer has possibly set his sights on ngyun as his next target?"

Seeing Qiu Ruoxue return to the topic at hand, Zhu Fei did not dwell on their previous exchange and his expression grew serious as he nodded.

"If I’m not mistaken, the murderer must be soone with an extrely fanatic character. Since he expressed interest in ngyun in front of , it’s most likely that she will be his next hunting target."

After a short pause, Zhu Fei continued, "Even if my suspicions are wrong, I won’t risk ngyun’s safety on a gamble."

"aning you intend to..." Qiu Ruoxue’s curiosity was piqued upon hearing Zhu Fei’s words.

"Mm, my intention is to provide covert personal protection for ngyun over the coming period."

Continuing to look at Qiu Ruoxue, Zhu Fei added, "I only hope that if my suspicions do turn out to be wrong, you’ll notify the mont you receive any information regarding that murderer. I absolutely cannot allow him to continue living!"

Zhu Fei’s final words were delivered with a face full of murderous intent, his voice filled with ominous overtones.

Qiu Ruoxue’s insides turned cold as she looked deeply at Zhu Fei, but ultimately she nodded, "Agreed. This ti, I’m afraid I may not be able to apply for a reward on your behalf."

She paused briefly, then explained, "After all, this ti you’re acting on a personal invitation from , so..."

"Heh, Police Officer Qiu, do you really see , Zhu Fei, as soone so petty? You should know there are so things that could never be replaced by anything in my heart."

Zhu Fei’s final statent seed to remind him of sothing; his gaze beca profound, wistfully staring into the distant sky.

Qiu Ruoxue felt a sudden jolt in her heart, gazing dumbfounded at Zhu Fei as if truly seeing him for the first ti, a faint envy of Tang ngyun rising inexplicably within her.

He seed to harbor many secrets. Surely, he was soone with a story?

With these thoughts, Qiu Ruoxue got lost in her reverie. When she finally ca to, she looked up, but where was there any sign of Zhu Fei?

Zhu Fei had already left the place, unnoticed.

This, in turn, gave rise to an uncomfortable feeling in Qiu Ruoxue for the first ti. Her face resud its usual coldness, and after biting her lip in frustration, she too turned and departed.
