At this mont, Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue sat face to face with Mr. Guo, with no one else present.
Zhu Fei looked at Mr. Guo and took the initiative to start the conversation with a smile, "Mr. Guo, do you have any understanding of that new casino you’ve opened in Macau?"
Right off the bat, Zhu Fei threw out the question directly, without much evasion.
Mr. Guo’s expression was initially one of slight surprise, but he soon seed to realize sothing, his eyebrows raising ever so slightly, he exclaid in astonishnt,
"Mr. Zhu, from the way you spoke just now, could it be that you wish to investigate the affairs of the Glory Casino?"
The Glory Casino was indeed the target of Zhu Fei and his team’s mission—the new casino opened in Macau.
Zhu Fei smiled and shook his head slightly, "I apologize, Mr. Guo, it’s not that I, Zhu Fei, don’t respect you, but this matter is not convenient for us to discuss further. I hope you can understand."
On the surface, it appeared that Zhu Fei was refusing to answer Mr. Guo’s counter-question.
But in fact, he had already conveyed his intentions to Mr. Guo through this suggestive thod.
The reason Zhu Fei didn’t disclose everything openly at the mont was also due to so special considerations. He believed that Mr. Guo, with his shrewdness, should be able to understand the reasons for his actions.

At this point, Mr. Guo suddenly sighed, looked at Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue, and said with a wry smile,
"Since we’ve gotten to this point, there are so things I don’t want to hide from you. In fact, not long ago, people from the Glory Casino had a conflict with our Royal Society, and the result of this disagreent was that neither side got the upper hand."
"You should be aware, with the foundations of our Royal Society in Macau, clashing with a newly opened casino without gaining an advantage, that’s sothing we’d rather not admit to... so—"
Mr. Guo stopped there without going on.
But both Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue understood that Mr. Guo wasn’t speaking not because he didn’t want to, but simply because it was embarrassing.
From this situation, the two of them also realized that there must be an extrely powerful force behind the Glory Casino—so powerful that even they felt a hint of pressure.
In an instant, Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue’s hearts felt heavy.
"Mr. Guo, if I now wish to apply for a job as a croupier at the Glory Casino, do you think you could...?"
Finally, after a brief silence, Qiu Ruoxue, who had not spoken until now, suddenly looked seriously at Mr. Guo and asked.

"Don’t get wrong, I don’t say this because I don’t want to help. In fact, in every casino in Macau, there are undercover agents from other casinos, and naturally, I have so as well."
He paused for a mont then went on, "If Miss Qiu truly wishes to apply as a croupier at the Glory Casino, I can make use of our undercover agents to help you secure the position."
"However, once you get inside, your safety will be..."
Mr. Guo didn’t finish his sentence, but he believed Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue could understand the implication.
"Ruoxue, I think we should hold off on this for now."
Zhu Fei also voiced his concerns. He hadn’t expected the situation inside the Glory Casino to be so complicated.
Such a dangerous endeavor was sothing he didn’t want Qiu Ruoxue to get involved in any further. As for the mission and such, bullshit, he, Zhu Fei, really didn’t care.
However, Qiu Ruoxue was resolutely determined.
She lightly shook her head at Zhu Fei and suddenly said to him, "Zhu Fei, how my parents died, you must have already heard from my grandfather, right?"
She paused, then went on, "In the past, they died during a special mission, and the target of that mission was a foreign Superpower Organization."
As Qiu Ruoxue said this, a faint smile appeared on her beautiful face.
"Zhu Fei, now that things have co to this, I don’t want to hide anything from you. In fact, this mission was sothing I actively requested."
"Do you really think I, Qiu Ruoxue, would be so foolish? Knowing there might be soone else’s shadow involved, wanting to trap , and yet I still took it on, heh, do you think that’s plausible?"
"But even if there’s a Superpower Organization behind the scenes of the Glory Casino, it might not necessarily be the sa killers who murdered your parents."
Zhu Fei also beca sowhat anxious. He truly hadn’t realized that Qiu Ruoxue’s mission involved such secrets.
But he also knew that even though Qiu Ruoxue usually seed cold and indifferent, when it ca to her parents, she was always incredibly determined.
Not to ntion just her daring to accept such a mission behind everyone’s back was proof enough that even if he argued until he was blue in the face, she was unlikely to turn back.
Sure enough, Qiu Ruoxue shook her head, "Even so, it’s a chance for , one I absolutely cannot afford to miss."
Pausing, she looked at Zhu Fei, her eyes slightly complex, but eventually she said,
"Zhu Fei, don’t worry, even if I really uncover sothing, so long as my strength hasn’t grown, I won’t take unnecessary risks."
"Alright, I’ve made my decision. You need not say more, and also, I hope you’ll return to Donglin City tomorrow, is that alright?"
Zhu Fei let out a small breath and couldn’t help but laugh.
Looking into Qiu Ruoxue’s eyes, he asked with a smile, "What do you say?"
At this mont, the two of them were dropping their caution and no longer avoiding any topics, to the point where Mr. Guo, listening on the side, couldn’t help but chuckle.
By now, he had ford a definite guess about the identities of Zhu Fei and Qiu Ruoxue.
Yet he didn’t say anything more, quietly waiting on the sideline for the two to finish their discussion.
