Chapter 439: Chapter 439 : Releasing The Seal (1)

This story took place several weeks ago, one day after Zhang Fengxi returned to Longjing Palace and was found out by his dear sons.

Zhang Fengxi’s plan upon being sealed by the Binding Seal Of Heaven was to lock himself up in Longjing Palace and find ways to release the spiritual power bind as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t get a mont of peace at all.

"Fengyu~"

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Sitting alone in the middle of opened books and unrolled scrolls, Zhang Fengxi’s mouth opened in amazent as he watched his two sons -- now the sa size he was -- tumble into the ssy library.

"Fengyu, don’t read every day, co out and play," Zhang Mingrui cheerfully pulled at Zhang Fengxi’s arm.

"I can’t," Zhang Fengxi replied. "I am searching for sothing."

"What are you searching for?" Xie Junjie asked. "I already read all the books in Longjing Palace and Fuxi Palace. Maybe I can help."

"..."

Zhang Fengxi’s mouth dropped open.

When did Xie Junjie swallow all those books again, and how did he, the father, not know about it?

To Zhang Fengxi’s knowledge, the only books Zhang Mingrui had ever read were story books for children, filled with a lot of colorful pictures. He could not morize, let alone recite a poem!

While Xie Junjie was the hardworking little brother, Zhang Mingrui was the proud big brother who felt the constant urge to brag.

Draping one arm around his little brother, Zhang Mingrui cackled loudly and said, "Junjie is very smart and diligent. Cousin Fengyu, if ever you encounter any problem in your studies, you can always ask for Junjie’s help!"

The tiger boy then lowered his voice to a whisper and told Zhang Fengxi in a conspiratorial tone, "Junjie has been helping

do my school assignnts. Don’t tell the adults, especially Daddy. Daddy is going to spank ."

"...."

So this little rascal knew that he was going to get spanked, but he still made his little brother do his howork every single day???

Zhang Fengxi did not know where this naughty boy inherited his lazy trait from!

Fuming inside, he exercised every bit of self-control in his body to not glare at Zhang Mingrui.

"So, what can I help you with, Cousin Fengyu?" Xie Junjie asked again.

Zhang Fengxi stifled a groan in his throat.

Oh, what would he give to return to his adult body at once. First and foremost, he wanted to give Xie Junjie a big hug, and then he was going to give Zhang Mingrui his well-deserved spanks.

"I, uh..."

Zhang Fengxi bit into his lips.

It did not matter how many books Xie Junjie read. He was just a five-year-old boy. He might not even understand what he read.

Zhang Fengxi, on the other hand, could make use of any piece of information.

That being said, there was no harm in asking for a little help, right?

Zhang Fengxi gulped.

Yes, there was nothing wrong with telling the boys.

"I have these weird markings around my arms and legs," Zhang Fengxi slowly spoke. He unrolled his sleeves and his pants to show both boys the dark shadows that encircled his wrists and ankles like malicious serpents. "I want to get rid of them desperately. Do you know how?"

"Eeeeek, what is that? A curse???" Zhang Mingrui shrieked.

"Uh, kind of."

"Which horrible witch did it to you, Cousin Fengyu? Did you tell Grandpa and Grandma about this?" Zhang Mingrui took Zhang Fengxi’s hands and flipped them around several tis to take a better look at the dark chains.

"Ah... Yes. Yes, I did. They told

to stay put and not do anything for the ti being."

"Absolutely unacceptable!" Zhang Mingrui cried out. "We can’t let evil go unpunished!"

Ah, Mingrui.

Zhang Fengxi did not know whether he should cry or laugh.

He was the one being punished here. By definition, he was the evil who committed a grave sin in the Human Realm.

In stark contrast, Xie Junjie remained a statue of silence. His gaze, sharp as a hawk’s, pinned itself onto the curious markings snaking beneath Zhang Fengxi’s skin.

He held that unwavering gaze for quite so ti, before he finally lifted his head and t Zhang Fengxi’s eyes in slow, deliberate movents.

"Warm water," he mumbled.

"Huh?"

Zhang Mingrui cupped a hand against his ear.

"What did you just say, Junjie?"

Xie Junjie blinked at his twin brother.

"Warm water, infused with honey lemon and mixed with ground Silver Mist Dream Flower and Immortal Fairy Fruit, can erase these markings."

Zhang Fengxi gaped at Xie Junjie in utter confusion.

"Really? That easy?"

"Yes, you just need to rub your skin with the mixture," Xie Junjie confird.

Zhang Fengxi could hardly believe it.

To think that unraveling the Binding Seal Of Heaven was rely a matter of knowing the right concoction mix and rubbing it all over the affected areas!

Zhang Mingrui grinned at Zhang Fengxi.

"What did I just tell you, Cousin Fengyu? Junjie knows everything! He is like a walking... Walking..."

Zhang Mingrui was unable to co up with the right word, so Xie Junjie ended his sentence for him.

"... Compilation of records...?"

"Yes! A walking compilation of records!" Zhang Mingrui cried out in glee.

Xie Junjie heaved a sigh.

"Awww, Junjie, I was just kidding. What did you just say? Lemon and warm water?"

"Warm water, infused with honey lemon and mixed with ground Silver Mist Dream Flower and Immortal Fairy Fruit..."

"Right, right right! My little brother worked so hard to recall this amazing mixture. You and Fengyu rest, I will go get us the good stuff!"

Zhang Mingrui sprinted out of the library like a little storm cloud.

Left alone with Zhang Fengxi, Xie Junjie turned on his heel and stared at Zhang Fengxi.

"Daddy, why are you being sealed by the Binding Seal Of Heaven?"
