The whisper barely left his lips when a wave of dizziness overca him.
Zhang Fengxi pressed a hand against his mouth to prevent his dinner from coming up.

He did not sound like his usual self. Xie Jianyu furrowed his brows.
"Do you want
to call your parents instead?"
Zhang Fengxi raised his head and gave Xie Jianyu an inexplicable gaze.
Breathing heavily, he said, "Don’t hate ."

He was the foolish one for taking this drunkard seriously. Sighing to himself, Xie Jianyu repositioned Zhang Fengxi’s body in his arms and continued dragging him along the steps.

so much."
Zhang Fengxi leaned against Xie Jianyu all of a sudden. Xie Jianyu widened his eyes in shock. Unprepared to deal with the sudden weight, he missed a footing and slipped on the steps.
"Arghhhh!!!" Xie Jianyu wailed when he fell to the ground. One of his legs was twisted unnaturally under Zhang Fengxi’s heavy body.
His cry of pain alard the nearby guards, who quickly ca to his aid.
"Your Majesty, are you alright???"
"Yes. Uhh..."
Xie Jianyu pushed Zhang Fengxi off him to no avail. The alpha barely moved. He was as sturdy as a boulder. Thankfully, another person was there to provide so help.
Wu Shenxia grabbed the back of Zhang Fengxi’s coat with one hand and removed the dead weight from Xie Jianyu.
"Your Majesty, are you hurt?" She asked with a polite smile on her lips, but for so reason, her eyes were as cold as the harshest winter wind in the north.
"I am fine," Xie Jianyu quickly answered. "Help
take care of Zhang Fengxi, he is a ss."
Zhang Zhiyuan and Lady Song were notified of Zhang Fengxi’s whereabouts. The concerned parents quickly rushed over to take a look at their son’s condition.
"Fengxi! Heavens! Did I not tell you not to drink so much? Really! Father and son are so alike!"
Zhang Zhiyuan sobered up because his wife pressed cold towels against his face a while ago. The guilty man had nothing to say to his defense.
Zhang Fengxi pushed his mother’s hands away.
"No," he said. "I need to talk to Xie Jianyu."
Xie Jianyu glowered at Zhang Fengxi. He was not in the mood to talk. He was in the mood to change his shoes.
"Talk when you are sober," he snapped before he turned around to leave.
Again, his sleeve was caught.
In front of his parents, Wu Shenxia, and a lot of palace guards, Zhang Fengxi said sothing obnoxious and regretful.
"Jianyu, give
another baby. I promise to protect him with my life..."
As soon as the last word left Zhang Fengxi’s lips, his eyes rolled backward and he dropped to the ground. Stunned, everyone stared at the unconscious alpha. And then, their eyes moved toward Xie Jianyu.
The latter’s face was bright red from sha. Oh, if only he smacked the daylight out of Zhang Fengxi a while ago.
