Chapter 141: Chapter 141 : The Demon King’s Bride (4)

One-sided marking during sexual intercourse without ogas’ heat worked like a temporary mating bond.

Depending on the strength of the ogas’ ntal fortitude, the ogas might just seek out the alphas who marked them to have sex in their next heat periods, thus establishing a real mating bond between the two of them.

This abominable practice was condemned in the Heavenly Realm.

Alas, they were currently in a lawless Demonic Realm. In the hellish, barren, and depraved land, everything was deed acceptable.

Once Xie Jianyu’s back bumped against the window fra, he realized that he had no other viable escape route but the emptiness behind him.

"You wouldn’t dare," he said to the First Demon King.

The high-ranking demon smiled.

"Try ."

The First Demon King did not get to occupy the Dark Moon Throne by spouting a bunch of nonsense. Xie Jianyu gripped hard against the edge of the window.

"Even if you jump, I have ways to recover you," the First Demon King told him. "In fact, it is a lot easier to do when you don’t resist

at all. We don’t want to tear your pheromone gland, do we?"

"Heh, I prefer that to being marked by you."

Without further warning, Xie Jianyu grabbed the end of his gown and jumped off the window.

"...!!!"

The First Demon King rushed forward, but he was only able to tear off the end of Xie Jianyu’s gown. The oga himself plunged into the depth without a slight mont of delay.

"Tsk! How troubleso...!"

The wind whipped against Xie Jianyu’s face as he fell. He spread his arms and legs and called out to his sword with all his might.

"Winter Frost, co...!!!"

Responding to its master’s call, Winter Frost vibrated in its prison. Bright blue sparks flew around the sheathed blade and broke off the iron chains that surrounded it.

The loud cracking sound startled the demon guards awake, but it was too late to do anything. Winter Frost shot past them like a dazzling arrow with purpose.

"ARGHHHHHH THE SWORD!"

"THE SWORD IS ESCAPING! SOONE!"

Before Xie Jianyu even hit the ground, Winter Frost enlarged itself and caught him.

Heaving a sigh of relief, Xie Jianyu patted the blade.

"Thank you, Winter Frost."

His spiritual power might be gone, but Winter Frost’s spiritual power was still intact. Thankfully, the master and the weapon shared an unbreakable bond.

Unfortunately, Winter Frost’s spiritual power alone was not enough to escape from the Demonic Realm.

"Take

away from the palace," Xie Jianyu whispered urgently. Only then was he able to recover his power and leave this place.

The blade remained only a few feet above the ground as it made its way out of the palace’s periter.

"Over there."

Xie Jianyu pointed at a thick forest that lood ahead. Winter Frost obliged and carried its master into the woods.

After flying for almost an hour, Xie Jianyu felt safe enough to land on the forest ground.

He tore off the overlarge hem of his gown indignantly and threw the silk fabric aside. And then, he sat in the lotus position and started to ditate.

As he was still loitering around the Demonic Realm, he was unable to dispel the heavy demonic energy in his body. When he forcefully tried to unclog his ridians, he ended up spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Xie Jianyu chuckled to himself gloomily.

Look at his pathetic self. Instead of advancing his cultivation, he had never been closer to a qi deviation.

Winter Frost vibrated in distress when the leaves above their head rustled with no gust of wind blowing through the forest. In his peripheral view, Xie Jianyu caught a few shadows flitting from tree to tree. Their movents were so smooth and light that the hanging vines remained still.

"Who?" Xie Jianyu grabbed his sword in defense. "Show yourself."

"Kukukuku..."

A beautiful demoness in human skin descended from a tree like a ghost, dragging a cloud of smoke behind her. The ends of her eyes were painted red, while the rest of her face was painted white.

Xie Jianyu slashed his palm open with Winter Frost and established a barrier between him and the demoness.

The demoness tried to touch the barrier, but she withdrew her frostbitten hands in ti before they stuck to the ice barrier. She clicked with her tongue in disappointnt, "Tsk..."

Xie Jianyu’s eyes were pinned on her while she swayed and dangled from side to side like a temptress.

"Food does not co easy around here," the demoness complained. "Sotis, a gourt dish passed by but then it cos with a tough shell."

The demoness winked at Xie Jianyu.

"Handso brother, would you not open up your barrier even a little bit?"

The cloud of smoke spread thin and surrounded Xie Jianyu, blocking his view. The forest disappeared into a curtain of hazy darkness.

Inside his barrier, Xie Jianyu started to ditate. Usually, he was able to block out sounds, but due to his weak spiritual power, the voice of the demoness managed to get through.

"Your body is out of reach, but your heart is as clear as crystal..."

Xie Jianyu gritted his teeth.

"Kukukuku... sweet young man, let

take a peek at your deepest wish, your dirtiest secret, and your worst nightmare."

Xie Jianyu murmured a series of spells under his breath.

"Heaven and Underworld unite,

the sword of heaven shall destroy the creatures from hell.

Evil, be gone!"

The demoness’ voice could no longer be heard. Xie Jianyu had just exhaled out of relief when another person’s voice broke through the barrier.

"Little Yu... my baby."

Coldness crept into Xie Jianyu’s heart. A beautiful face of a gentle lady appeared in front of the barrier, followed by a pair of jade-like hands. The woman had the sa pair of almond eyes as Xie Jianyu.

It was none other than the forr empress of the Heavenly Realm.

"My child," she wept bitterly. "It has been too many years. I miss you so much. Please let your mother hug you."
