But to just give up as if nothing happened, Xu Shu felt rather irritated.
That earth-shattering slap in the ga just now nearly left him with a psychological shadow; he couldn’t rest easy without avenging this grudge!
Sigh!
To want, yet also want, and still want more -- the matters of this world really are a choice between the fish and the bear’s paw, tough to decide~
Xu Shu’s fingers paused repeatedly on the input interface.
After much deliberation and hesitating for more than ten minutes,
he finally settled on a plan and quietly typed:
"Outside of D8B3 area, there’s an injured Frightening Corruptor Euphlius. It’s well-hidden and hard to root out. I, being occupied with important matters, have no ti to deal with it. Anyone who has news of Althias can exchange with for the exact location of Euphlius! Any news will do." ——Tai Chu.
...
"This should be about right, ensuring my status as Tai Chu, while not being exposed, and also having a suitable excuse to prove my identity. Most crucially, the four characters of Althias are definitely enough to bait the hook!"
Xu Shu clapped his hands, feeling sowhat satisfied.
Althias is the na of the pale death god, the King of Infinity, a secret not accessible to ordinary people.
However, historical records show that during the early stages of the Great Catastrophe, the pale death god destroyed many human cities, creating the horrific scene of "a land of thousands of miles littered with bones." Afterwards, He, like the other descending Evil Gods, mysteriously vanished.
Therefore, the true experts within the Human Clan would inevitably have so knowledge of Him, at least a bit.
Even more so, groups like the Star Group where Wuxin was, also had so knowledge of the "Tailed Ksitigarbha", and she was rely a Third Rank Transcendent.
This shows that "Althias" was not a character originally created by using the Tai Chu Scroll, but one that exists in the real world, and my legend likely only took a snippet of history to portray.
The existence of things from the current real world appearing in legends was sothing Xu Shu had always known.
And he found that stories involving "real history" almost all had imasurably strong forces, untouchable to the extent that it prevented him from interfering too much in the legends, as if so mysterious force was preventing him from changing history, leading to discrepancies between the events in the ’ancient ruins’ and reality.
Hence, the "dispute between Ksitigarbha and the death god" that he saw in the legends likely existed in reality as well, with the Tai Chu Scroll having incorporated historical fragnts into the legend.
After all, during that incident, Xu Shu felt he had not caused any interference.
And the parts he could interfere with likely could only manifest in the "ancient ruins" that arrived afterward, a point Xu Shu had also confird through the experiences of the Wang Teng copy and the ruins copy that Wang Teng’s mother went through.
However, even so, Xu Shu purposely ntioned "Althias" rather than His current identity in the real world, "Tailed Ksitigarbha", obviously with so careful thought.
After entering the information, Xu Shu reviewed it several tis, making sure there were no major issues before solemnly clicking "Send".
A brief wait of a few minutes.
Xu Shu’s face showed a bit of anticipation as he looked at the comnts section.
As expected, the first comnts that ca into view were from netizens of First to Third Ranks, posting off-topic comnts.
"Our D8B3 area again? What kind of karma is this, I’m heading back to the city now!"
"Front row homage to Tai Chu, just making myself known."
"As everyone knows, I have been a fan of Tai Chu since birth, I am Tai Chu’s most loyal dog."
"What is Frightening Corruptor Euphlius? Can so expert enlighten ? And who is Althias?"
"Is the big shot still in the Eastern Combat Zone? When will you co sweep through the wastelands of our Southern Combat Zone~"
And so on and so forth, endless in variety.
And most of them were "anonymous", including the one claiming to be Tai Chu’s most loyal dog, leaving people clueless about their identities.
Xu Shu directly ignored these uninformative replies.
Their role was nothing more than keeping his post’s visibility high.
This ti, his targets were not even Fourth Rank experts in his eyes.
At least Fourth Rank Peak Great Perfection, and if there were many of them, they could form groups and perhaps have a chance of hunting an injured Fifth Rank?
This wasn’t guaranteed, of course. The best targets were naturally those on the Heavenly List, the big shots of the Fifth Rank!
"I wonder how long it will take for a Fifth Rank to see this post~"
"It’s said that there are only about twenty or thirty Fifth Rank mbers in the Human Clan; not everyone might be browsing the forums at this ti, so it’s normal if they miss it..."
"Hehe, I’m just complaining with this post, not specifying that only Fifth Ranks can co, it’s not a quest, and by pretending to exchange information, anyone can co, which fits my persona. It matches the attitude of Tai Chu, a new powerhouse who doesn’t want the other Fifth Ranks to know who I am. They won’t suspect anything just because I didn’t post in the Fifth Rank’s inner circle but chose to post in the world channel. On the contrary, they might suspect each other, even thinking I’ve just advanced..."
Xu Shu waited for quite a while, and the number of replies had already surpassed 999 .
Among them, aside from the majority being players who posted off-topic replies, there were already quite a few Fourth Rankers cautiously inquiring in their replies if Althias was the one they were thinking of.
Even so Third Rankers were trying to imply subtly, hinting that they seed to have so information about "Althias", though not current but previous rumors.
