347: Chapter 77: The Secret Divine Mother, Earth Store Bodhisattva Crossing Catastrophe (Seek Monthly Pass)_3 347: Chapter 77: The Secret Divine Mother, Earth Store Bodhisattva Crossing Catastrophe (Seek Monthly Pass)_3 Xu Shu was really surprised.
That being said, this ti wasn’t a waste of effort after all.
At the very least, he figured out a characteristic of the Evil God, Izanami.
According to certain principles, Xu Shu knew that legends and reality intersected; therefore, he suspected that Izanami might be one of the many Evil Gods who had really participated in the destruction of the world during the “Great Catastrophe.”
If not, so be it.
If true, then understanding so of her abilities was indeed useful for him.
After all, Xu Shu didn’t aim too high.
He possessed the Tai Chu Scroll and might very well have the opportunity to face Divine Spirits in the future!
After all, the true enemies of mankind were those bizarre and terrifying Evil Gods.
A Transcendent who didn’t want to slay gods was not a good Transcendent.
Of course, these were matters for later; at this mont, although using the sche of “Izanami” to resolve the crisis of his 2.5 Articles of Understanding had failed,
Xu Shu still had plenty of strategies.
He imdiately continued his legend:
[You give a soft chuckle, with your knowledge of many secrets, you are fully confident in pulling the wool over the eyes of the 2.5 Articles of Understanding.]
[This ti, you don’t bring up Izanami; instead, you change direction.
You let Lan Ran speak for you.
“I have no intention of opposing you; I must prevent a matter, a matter related to the survival or extinction of the entire Cursed World.”]
[Sure enough, the 2.5 Articles of Understanding took the bait, asking, “What matter?”]
[“A group of powerful Curse Spirits is plotting; they want to summon Yuzaoqian, the Great Demon who was sealed a thousand years ago.
Surely, you also understand what it ans for Yuzaoqian to return to the human world.” You said confidently, feeling at the sa ti that the Soul Realm and the Cursed World indeed had connections, all related to events from a thousand years ago.]
[The 2.5 Articles of Understanding recognized the seriousness of the matter but still arrogantly said, “What does this have to do with your wicked sacrifice?
You haven’t answered ; where did you send the Spirit Crossing Zen Master?”]
[You had no idea about any Spirit Crossing Zen Master, but that didn’t stop you from pretending: “These offerings are the answer, why not let try?”]
[Faced with your feigned mystery, the 2.5 Articles of Understanding looked at the Korean criminals scattered on the ground, thinking it wouldn’t hurt to try.]
[You imdiately followed an old mory and carved the altar array, the sa array you saw the first ti you encountered Tailed Ksitigarbha.]
[After a simple setup, Lan Ran killed the total of 108 Korean criminals—their sentences ranged from six to seven years, so with over ten years.
Regardless of their cris, they had at least the chance to live.
Unfortunately, they t you, once known as the “King of Hell,” who directly turned their term imprisonnt into imdiate death sentences.]
[Lan Ran, naturally a ruthless executioner, wielded her blade skillfully and swiftly; the sinful blood flowed backwards into a river, flooding the entire array in a crimson, eerie hue.]
[Under your guidance, Lan Ran began to perform the ritual properly, picking up the “Purple Orchid Scepter,” and sang aloud, “Supre being who governs the domain of space, great Infinite Tailed Serpent of dual nature, it is Ksitigarbha!” ]
[Then, you recited a poem, “Undefeated through Heaven and Earth, acclaid as the foremost from ancient tis to the present.”]
[Although you were just trying this out, it would have been best if Tailed Ksitigarbha appeared; but if it was still King Althias, you wouldn’t lose; after all, Althias was an old acquaintance, and you could take the opportunity to score so points with him, claiming you were truly seeking Ksitigarbha—rember, you are a powerful spiritual entity known as the ‘Divine Favored’; you bear the blessing of Althias and have a mission.]
[After a period of concealnt, the blood on the ground started to surge, then suddenly evaporated.]
[“The sacrifice went as smoothly as ever, just wondering who might co this ti…” you mused expectantly.]
[The next second, the air solidified, and brilliant golden light burst forth, a golden six-ard Buddha statue appeared in the center of the array, exuding an aura of compassion and rcy, holding a Treasure Bead, dignified and solemn.]
[Buddhism, has descended here!]
[“You’ve already confird that it’s not Althias.”]
[“Because this ti, he didn’t put any pressure on you, and if it had been Althias, even soone as strong as you, now comparable to a Special Grade Curse Master, couldn’t have stood at all.”]
[“As the Buddha statue turned around, revealing a young bald head, both Er Dian Wu Gou and Lan Ran Jing Xiaohua almost gasped simultaneously.”]
[“The forr exclaid, ‘Spirit Crossing Zen Master?!’, while the latter said, ‘Funeral Monk!'”]
[“The Buddha statue seed to co to life, turning into a real monk, and he clasped his hands and said, ‘Respected patrons, we et again.'”]
[“This sowhat odd scene didn’t perplex your imaginative mind at all, and you instantly realized that the Spirit Crossing Zen Master Er Dian Wu Gou was searching for, and the monk who spread new ideas to Lan Ran Jing Xiaohua, was one and the sa.”]
[“And, as expected, he was likely none other than the legendary ‘Ksitigarbha’!”]
[“He looked at you all and then suddenly turned to look towards the sky, and then turned back to you, not even waiting for you to speak, this monk with six arms abruptly waved his hand.”]
[“Following that, first a mantra decree landed in Er Dian Wu Gou’s hand, the monk told him, ‘This is the thod of cultivating the Three Corpses.
You go ponder over it.
Your karma lies in the West; what you seek, the stubborn entity, His na is Vishnu.'”]
[“After he had spoken, you saw Er Dian Wu Gou involuntarily fly up, heading west like a shooting star, vanishing at the horizon.”]
[“Following that, you saw the monk turn his gaze towards you, and his eyes showed unspeakable sorrow.
He sighed and said, ‘It’s difficult to avoid!
What you have just chanted might indeed be a prophecy, but for , even facing certain death, it’s worth a try.'”]
[“‘Ah?’ Question marks popped out of the top of your Purple Star Scepter, and this mysterious sentence made you feel very, if not utterly, confused.”]
[“What certain death?
Is he talking about Althias pursuing him?
Does he feel he’s no match?”]
[“‘Bodhisattva, you need to brace yourself!
If not, let’s avoid the sharp edge for now.’ You felt an affinity towards Ksitigarbha.
No longer hiding, you erged from the Purple Star Scepter, trying to cheer him on.
After all, Althias seed very evil, and the Ksitigarbha before you overlapped slightly with soone you know from mory.
Naturally, you were inclined towards Ksitigarbha.”]
[“Sadly, Althias, who over the years has helped you increase your spiritual pressure and blessed you, never won your heart.
Isn’t this a kind of emotional betrayal?”]
[“However, facing your persuasion, Ksitigarbha only shook his head, and with a long chant, said:
Clouds and mist appear before my eyes, among mortals you and I are wise!
Without emptiness, there is no Buddha, through all beings, enlightennt is pursued!
Today I enter the final calamity, even facing death I harbor no regrets!
When the days disrupt yin and yang, I’ll rise from the earth and reclaim my reign!”]
[“After reciting the poem, Ksitigarbha stood silently.”]
[“The inexplicable poetry response from him made you absolutely sure that this person indeed had connections with Tailed Ksitigarbha.”]
[“As soone who doesn’t dally, you quickly seized the ti and asked, ‘Bodhisattva, I encountered a strange monster calling itself Tailed Ksitigarbha.
It claims to have many deep-sea creatures as followers.
Please clarify for !”]
[“At this, Ksitigarbha’s gaze deepened, he remarked, ‘So that’s how it is, so that’s how it is!'”]
[“You were getting pretty irritated, damn it, stop talking in riddles, just tell what’s going on with Tailed Ksitigarbha!”]
[“But before you could speak, you saw Ksitigarbha’s hand rest on your head, then your spirit was peeled away.
Your ‘Purple Star Scepter’ fell into Ksitigarbha’s hands, his form changing from originally holding a Treasure Bead to now holding a scepter in one hand and a bead in the other, and he smiled saying, ‘Your karma is in Japan, yet fate makes you unseen, you go and try.'”]
[“As for you…” Ksitigarbha looked at Lan Ran Jing Xiaohua, shook his head and sighed, ‘Looking for Spirit Mountain, you may follow him, he will lead you to a glimpse of vitality; for , all that follows is my final fate.”]
[“As he finished speaking, your bodies floated up, flew across the four oceans, glided over volcanoes, stepped over ice fields, and finally landed on a temple on an island in the sea.”]
[“Engraved with several large characters: Capital City, Shimizu Temple.”]
