Relics are inherently mysterious and unpredictable, and it’s not surprising for strange occurrences to happen.
Perhaps these things only appeared after Japan sank.

In response, the rmaid opened her mouth wide, spewing out a torrent of bubbles like a waterfall, each bubble being a peculiar mini squid.

Successfully capturing the ‘corpse pieces’, the Mang Worms returned to the fish gills to report, and Xu Shu clearly felt the rmaid’s body convulsing, indirectly causing him considerable harm.

Under the protection of the Mang Worms, Xu Shu’s body surface beca like a thick city wall, preventing any corpse pieces from approaching.
“Heh, without lifting a finger, I can have these corpse spirits all killed and devoured.”
“This thod is quite intriguing, sowhat like opportunistic scavenging.”
