Ti rewound to twenty minutes earlier.
"Wu wu... don't... don't hit... I know I was wrong..."
"Ah... Xu Qingfan, no!"
Xia Xiaoxiao woke up from her dream with misty almond-shaped eyes, flushed cheeks, and a few crystal droplets of sweat on her forehead, like a beauty who had just bathed in a hot spring.
"Huff..."
Upon opening her eyes, the girl looked at the snow-white ceiling and let out a long breath.
But she only got halfway through her exhale when she seed to think of sothing horrifying and held the rest back.
Feeling a trendous sense of relief after confirming that her bedding wasn't wet, Xia Xiaoxiao stretched out her hand.
"Huff~"
She completed her breath, laying her hand on her forehead and staring blankly at the ceiling.
Although it wasn't the first ti she had had such a dream, the content of her recent dream had sowhat shattered Xia Xiaoxiao's worldviews.
[Why would I have that kind of dream... and with a belt... what the hell!]
Xia Xiaoxiao patted her face, trying to snap herself out of it.
Luckily, since it was still dark outside, she had plenty of ti to cover her tracks.
Xia Xiaoxiao slowly got up from bed, with Wu Lingyu and Xiao Ruawen sleeping on either side of her. The other two girls were still deep in sleep, as was Zhang Yiyi nearby, and Wanning too...
[Could Wanning have gotten up already?]
Xia Xiaoxiao's pupils constricted, and she looked instinctively toward the bathroom. The door was ajar, but she could still clearly see through the frosted glass that the light was off.
The next mont.
The initial embarrassnt and guilt on Xia Xiaoxiao's face vanished, replaced by a cold gaze as sharp as ice crystals on a winter day, her brows knitted with a wrath that seed to carry the fury of thunder!
[Why is she doing this again!]
Xia Xiaoxiao clenched her fists in anger, not even bothering about her damp pajama bottoms—she wanted to fight!
Fearing discovery, she still pulled on her school uniform pants over her pajamas before leaving—this ti she had to catch them in the act!
Last ti, she arrived after the two had woken up, and she had to settle with the lousy dog's excuses; this ti she wouldn't forgive them so easily!

Xia Xiaoxiao's chest heaved violently, nearly bursting with anger, yet she was careful not to disturb the three girls who were sound asleep as she left.
But when she finally stood in front of the door, she lost the courage to push it open.
Xia Xiaoxiao reached for the doorknob several tis, only to pull back imdiately after starting the motion.
Admittedly, Lin Wanning had indeed crawled into that stinking dog's bed, and Xu Qingfan had indeed promised her that he wouldn't let Wanning get into his bed, but did she really want to make a scene over this?
Although she often acted at odds with Xu Qingfan, the two of them had actually never quarreled in all the years of growing up together.
This, of course, was partly because Xu Qingfan indulged her, but Xia Xiaoxiao had also been doing it on purpose.
She enjoyed Xu Qingfan's indulgence and was careful not to be disliked.

But what she was about to do was undoubtedly undermining the friendship among the six of them. Even though Xia Xiaoxiao considered herself on the side of justice, she still hesitated.
She was truly afraid that Xu Qingfan would dislike her for it. If that were the case, she would rather pretend she knew nothing and go back to the next room to sleep.
During the few minutes she stood behind the door, she had cooled down a lot and was no longer blinded by rage.
Tears shimred in Xia Xiaoxiao's eyes. Despite deciding against fighting, the more she thought about it, the more she felt aggrieved.
[You only know how to bully ... always breaking your promises. It's always like this, always expecting to give in. Xu Qingfan, I hate you so much!]
The tears, like a kite without a string, silently slid down.
Xia Xiaoxiao took a breath, her nose trembling slightly with a weak cry. She felt mistreated, but she had decided to turn back, to forgo the battle.
She turned to step away, but at that mont—
"Ah~ Brother Qing Fan, no!"
A startled cry from Lin Wanning suddenly ca from inside the room.
Xia Xiaoxiao's forward-moving leg froze in place, and her fists, which had loosened, clenched tight once again.
Next ca the sporadic sound of dialogue between the two, which she couldn't quite make out from outside the door.
Monts later.
Xia Xiaoxiao's clenched fists relaxed again, and she wanted to step back into her room, but her feet felt as if they were weighed down by lead, unresponsive.
"Ah ah ah~ Brother Qing Fan, you're so annoying!"
The second cry from Lin Wanning ca from inside the room, followed by an unpleasant laughter.
At that mont, Xia Xiaoxiao felt as if her lungs were about to explode with anger. Even through the wall, just the sounds allowed her to imagine the indecent scene unfolding inside.
"Hey hey~ stop ssing around!"
"Brother Qing Fan, you're bullying ~ I'm going to tickle you!"
"Hahaha... heeheehee..."
As the laughter of the two rang out joyfully, it seed piercing and grating to Xia Xiaoxiao's ears.
