The morning sun poured through the glass panels of Olbia Costa Sralda Airport, painting the terminal in soft gold.

Near one of the boarding gates, two figures stood facing each other — Lucretia Zola and Asahi Aito.
The witch’s violet eyes were calm, though faint traces of reluctance lingered in them. Her usual confident smile was softer today, almost wistful.
"Are you sure you’re going?" Lucretia asked quietly, folding her arms. "I don’t mind taking care of you a little longer, you know."
Asahi gave a small chuckle, his travel bag slung over one shoulder. "I appreciate it, Lucretia-nee, If I stay little longer I might get carried away with your spoiled but I have to go back. Soone’s waiting for at ho." Thinking of it, Grandma Chiyo and Grandpa Ichorou called everyday to go ho, especially Shizuka-chan.
Then he bowed — deeply, sincerely.
"Thank you for everything. For teaching , for feeding ."
Lucretia’s lips curved into a small smile. "You’re such a polite boy. I’m going to miss your cooking, though."
That made Asahi grin, scratching his cheek in mild embarrassnt. "Don’t worry, Lucretia-nee. It’s not like this is goodbye forever. You have my contacts and my flying golem, you can chat again so I’m sure We’ll et again — I promise."
For a mont, the witch said nothing. Then she nodded once, firmly.
"Make sure you keep that promise."
"Of course."

Just then, the airport speakers chid — a crisp female voice announcing:
" Boarding call for passengers on Japan Airlines Flight 721 to Tokyo. Please proceed to Gate 6."
Asahi turned toward the gate, the boarding pass in his hand trembling slightly. He looked back one last ti.
Lucretia stood there, her long purple dress fluttering gently in the air-conditioning, her hand raised in a calm wave.
"Take care of yourself, " she said.
He smiled. "I will. Goodbye, Lucretia-nee."
And with that, Asahi walked toward the boarding gate — his footsteps steady, yet his heart strangely heavy.
Asahi turned toward the gate, boarding pass in hand.
For so reason, a sudden thought crossed his mind.
He’d never actually checked Lucretia-nee’s status before, had he?
Out of mild curiosity, he whispered the command. "[Status]."
