Chapter 474: Chapter 474 Naming

Shen Yiguang carried Lele over to them.

Yang Peimin thought Lele seed taller and thinner, perhaps because she hadn’t seen him for a while.

“Lele!”

As soon as Lele saw Yang Peimin, he wanted to pounce over, but Shen Yiguang held him tightly, grabbed a chair, and sat down next to Yang Peimin’s bed with Lele in her arms. Shen Yiguang soothed him, “Mama is sick, so we don’t need to go over there. We can just stay here and watch, and you can hold her hand.”

Lele couldn’t quite grasp all of that and flung himself toward Yang Peimin, calling out “Mama, Mama.”

This little guy, Lele, could occasionally say “dad” at ten months old, but no matter how Yang Peimin tried to teach him to call her “mama,” he just couldn’t pick it up. It wasn’t until around his first birthday that he finally started to mumble “mama.”

Yang Peimin took his little hand and pulled out a small bell, placing it in his palm. Lele imdiately beca fascinated, trying to put it in his mouth, but Yang Peimin quickly grabbed his hand, “Oh, my son, you can’t eat this, this is to play with.”

When she took the bell away, Lele wasn’t annoyed; he looked up at her with twinkling eyes. Yang Peimin knew what the little guy was thinking—he wanted her to play with him. Although he couldn’t speak much yet, he was very aware and lively and loved to play. So Yang Peimin hid the bell in her left hand and closed it into a fist; she then did the sa with her right hand, crossing their positions, inviting Lele to guess. They had often played this little ga before, and every ti Lele was reluctant to stop.

Soon, Lele was no longer fussing to be held; he was content playing this little ga with her. Really, children are so easy to satisfy.

Yang Peimin and Shen Yiguang exchanged smiles.

Shen Yiguang said, “Are you feeling a bit better, having seen him?”

Yang Peimin nodded, then her face grew worried, “But what about when he has to go back later? He’ll definitely cry again.”

Shen Yiguang spread his hands, “There’s nothing we can do about that.”

Previously, whenever Yang Peimin went out, Lele would cry and want to follow. She would tell him that mama had to go to work and when she would return. At first, it didn’t work, but after several tis, Lele understood. Eventually, when he saw her leave, he would even wave goodbye, looking irresistibly adorable.

After playing for a while, Yang Peimin noticed her mother’s face looked tired, so she said, “Let Lele go back with grandma. You must not have slept well last night. Go rest a bit, and just bring dinner later.”

Zhang Minghua listened and smiled, agreeing to her arrangent.

Yang Peimin coaxed Lele, promising he could co see her again tomorrow, but Lele wasn’t really listening. Seeing he would be separated from her, he started to cry. Yang Peimin gently wrapped her arms around him, “Be a good boy, Lele. Co see tomorrow. I’ll have grandma and granny bring you, and we’ll make it a promise.”

Still crying, Lele was carried away by Zhang Minghua.

Yang Peimin felt like crying too.

Shen Yiguang shook his head, “Stop thinking about it. You should get so sleep, too. You’ll be able to go ho in a couple of days.”

Yang Peimin had stayed in the hospital for five days and went ho with the twins.

Their little girl finally opened her eyes—big, dark, and incredibly cute. Because of her weight, the family took extra care of the little sister.

Shen Yiguang had also made two cribs for the twins, just like Lele’s, and placed them in their room. The three lined up side by side, which was fine since their room was quite spacious.

Every ti Chen Guizhi ca in and saw the three little beds, she couldn’t stop smiling. All three were her little darlings.

“The house will be lively from now on.”

Yang Peimin’s milk was as plentiful for Lele as it was now, and since their appetites were still small, it was manageable. But after three months, who knew?

The contrast between the boy and the girl beca apparent, with the second child eating more ferociously, while his sister was much more refined. Initially, she didn’t have enough strength and would stop after a few sucks, resting a while before breastfeeding again.

However, when placed together, if one of them cried, the other would join in, almost as if they received so sort of signal.

As the children grew a bit older, their features beca clearer. Shen Yiguang especially loved holding his sister because she looked a lot like Yang Peimin. Zhang Minghua had said she resembled Yang Peimin when she was a child.

But during the first month, the babies mostly slept, so often when Shen Yiguang ca ho, he found both little ones fast asleep.

Then he’d stand by his sister’s crib, watching until he couldn’t help but laugh, and softly called out “sister.” She would burst into tears upon hearing him, and soon after, the loud voice of his brother would join in.

Chen Guizhi and Zhang Minghua rushed in from outside.

“What’s the matter, what’s the matter? They just fell asleep; why are they crying again?” The two mothers each picked up a child to check on them.

Shen Yiguang sheepishly touched his nose.

Yang Peimin, who was also woken up by the noise, couldn’t help but laugh in bed.

“These siblings really have a great bond, truly of the sa blood.”

After the full-month celebration, the twins’ nas were also decided.

The formal nas were chosen for peace: Shen Youping and Shen You’an, echoing the second child.

Their nicknas were Fan Tuan for the second child, aning “rice ball,” and Tuantuan for the third, “little ball.”

The second child was vigorous at breastfeeding, so his na suited him well. The third was comparatively smaller and weaker, so naming her Tuantuan was a well-wishing, hoping she would grow up plump and healthy.

Afterward, Yang Peimin’s classmates teased her about the casual way she nad her twins. But then, after saying the nas over and over, they found them easy to pronounce and started to like them. Even people like Li Yue ca specifically to praise her naming skills and asked Yang Peimin to co up with a na for her little nephew too.

With three children now, Yang Peimin tried her best to squeeze out ti to take care of them at ho.

After providing care for the full month, Zhang Minghua stayed an extra half month primarily to help out at Yang Peiying’s shop.

Yang Peiying’s shop had four employees and could manage on its own, but Zhang Minghua couldn’t keep still. She was also wary that her daughter’s dough-like character might be taken advantage of by the employees, so she wanted to help out and keep an eye. Once there, she naturally began working, and no one could pull her away.

Yang Peiying’s shop was located just outside the college gates, primarily serving students and nearby factory workers.

Initially, Zhang Minghua thought her daughter’s venture was trivial, mainly aid at curing Yang Peiying’s timidness, without much hope for making a profit. But when the New Year ca around, Yang Peiying actually brought ho US$500, which genuinely surprised her.

She was both shocked and delighted, and most importantly, she saw changes in her daughter. She no longer hung her head when talking to others, her voice beca clearer, and she seed to be more spirited overall.

Zhang Minghua had always worried about her youngest daughter’s temperant and whether she’d be able to fend for herself when married. Just the thought would turn her hair white. But now, as she let go, her daughter started growing on her own.
