Chapter 405: Chapter 405: Useful

The two families had thus fallen out, and Li Hong was also sent back to her parents’ ho by Yang Peijun to reflect upon herself.

Zhang Minghua too had steeled her heart, and tacitly approved her son’s actions, although she was still sowhat worried about the child in Li Hong’s womb.

Within a couple of days, news of Li Hong’s miscarriage reached them.

The Yang Family imdiately went to demand accountability, but the Li Family claid that it was Li Hong who miscarried due to excessive sadness and regret, and it had nothing to do with them, implying that it was the Yang Family’s fault for having abandoned her there, leading to her grief-induced miscarriage.

Seeing the haggard and seemingly thinner Li Hong, the Yang Family couldn’t bear it and took her back.

Yang Peijun, however, did not want to face her, especially since she had lost their child; he couldn’t get over it and did not share a room with her. He moved into Yang Peiying’s room instead. anwhile, Li Hong cried day and night, pitifully pleading for forgiveness from Yang Peijun, who felt not pity but only annoyance.

He felt that even after losing the child, she still hadn’t learned to reflect and keep a low profile, incessantly disrupting everyone’s peace.

Zhang Minghua then asked him to persuade her to stop crying and not disturb everyone anymore.

But Yang Peijun felt that he could no longer communicate with Li Hong. Whenever he spoke, she would start crying non-stop, continually admitting her faults, and even when she could no longer cry out loud, her tears still flowed. Yang Peijun barely held back his temper to avoid yelling at her.

What more could he do with soone like that?

He felt he couldn’t stay there any longer.

He then thought of Yang Peimin and wrote a letter to her.

After reading Yang Dahai’s letter, Yang Peimin spoke to Shen Yiguang, “Now my second brother is terribly annoyed by Li Hong, who is in a foul mood daily. It’s not just him; our parents are also distressed. They’re finding their current situation unbearable. Li Hong is still in her postpartum confinent, while my brother can’t move past the emotional barrier. Divorce isn’t discussed, but dad thought if it’s convenient here, let’s have the second brother stay with us for a couple of months.”

Shen Yiguang had no objections, “If there’s room at ho, let him co. It will also be good for him to help Yingzi out.”

Upon hearing this, Yang Peimin had a playful idea and laughed, “Then let him work for Yingzi. Let Yingzi pay him a salary. It would be quite amusing since he always bullied Yingzi when they were younger.”

Yang Peijun was a troublemaker in his childhood, often fighting with his sibling; his sibling was always tattling, thus Yang Peijun often got disciplined by Yang Dahai. Lacking the authority of an elder brother at Yang Peimin’s, he shifted his bullying to Yang Peiying, who was four years younger and dared not complain. He made her do many chores and would catch bugs to scare her until she cried, which was truly despicable.

Now it was ti for Yang Peiying to turn the tables.

With this thought, Yang Peimin sent a telegram back with the address, inviting Yang Peijun to co.

Yang Peiying was happy to hear that Yang Peijun was coming but beca nervous when Yang Peimin ntioned that he would be coming to work for her, imdiately shaking her head, “It won’t do, third brother will never agree to it.”

Yang Peimin glared, “He won’t agree? Does he expect to freeload here? No way!”

Yang Peiying whispered, “Just let him work with .”

“Isn’t that what it is? You’re short-handed right now, so his help is perfect. But we shouldn’t just let him help for nothing, let’s pay him a market-rate salary. That would be fair to him and he’d definitely want to do it too. He’s been wanting to work for a long ti at ho. Now that such an opportunity has presented itself, we’re just giving him a hand, aren’t we?”

Yang Peiying nodded blankly.

Shen Yiguang chuckled and shook his head beside her, relieved he hadn’t offended her. He could imagine just how delighted his uncle would be—her ideas were truly sothing.

Yang PeiMin didn’t care too much about their opinions as she was incredibly busy every day. The clothing side was constantly pressuring her for drawings. Shen Yixiang barely understood half of it, and it wasn’t sustainable. She needed to find a few designers or train so on her own.

The orders were already spreading to nearby cities. Inspired by her cousin, Sister Liu had people selling at train and bus stations to attract big clients, which helped expand their orders to other cities. So daring ones even made regular trips to restock.

Sister Liu had recently approached her to discuss hiring more people, suggesting they bring in about ten more sewing machines and workers. Although this had been agreed upon initially, Sister Liu, being sincere, thought it necessary to inform the shareholder, Yang PeiMin.

Beyond feeling reassured, Yang PeiMin also felt she was lacking energy.

She asked Sister Liu to look for so educated people, at least high school graduates, as such individuals had different experiences and mindsets from those who hadn’t attended school. She planned to set up a design departnt, and if no talent was found, she’d train so herself.

Gao Lingfeng had so news; he provided several equipnt prices to Yang PeiMin and could help with shipping them back, but the costs and freight were alarmingly high.

Yang PeiMin urgently needed to gather funds, aiming to invest in skincare. Given the situation, she had to hold back for now. Although the clothing side was doing well, the finances were still insufficient.

Classmates Li Yue and Tang Zhao had already been influenced to join her, but at this stage, they were just finalizing the product. The raw materials were a headache—though mostly doable, Yang PeiMin wasn’t thrilled with the outcos, and the process was lengthy. She had to find sources from her past life knowledge, which she couldn’t locate anyti soon.

Yang Peijun had arrived; Yang PeiMin felt he was sowhat useful apart from helping Yang Peiying with work; having him run errands for her was not a bad idea.

Yang Peijun finally reached amidst their mutterings.

When he reached the door, he almost got chased away by a neighbor.

It was dusk when he had arrived. Yang PeiMin went to open the door and nearly jumped in fright—goodness, he looked like the chief of the Beggar Gang.

“Minmin!” The shock was trendous, resembling a scene of family reunion.

Yang PeiMin quickly stepped aside, not letting him touch her, “Okay, okay, I get it. We just boiled so hot water—go take a shower first, then we can talk.”

Yang Peiying also ca out and called, “Brother,” which excited Yang Peijun. He ran over and grabbed Yang Peiying’s arm.

Yang PeiMin hugged her own arms, glad she had moved away quickly.
