Hearing Damon Hawke’s inquiry, Elara Don’s smile slightly faded, and she lowered her eyes without a word.

Should she tell him about Damon Hawke’s true identity?

She knew the truth wouldn’t remain hidden forever, and one day it would co to light.

But is now the right ti to tell him?

"Elly, stop hiding it from . If you don’t tell , I’ll find out eventually, though it will take so ti."

Damon Hawke held Elara Don’s hand, "Tell , are you being threatened? Is it related to Cole Hawke?"

Upon hearing this, Elara Don decided not to hide it any longer.

She held Damon’s hand in return, "Tom, what I’m about to tell you is related to you. Are you ntally prepared?"

"Related to ? What’s it about? Don’t worry, your future husband has weathered a lot of storms. Just tell ."

Damon Hawke saw Elara Don’s serious expression and gently squeezed her small hand to comfort her.

Elara Don looked around, took a deep breath, and said, "Tom, you’re actually not the son of Grandpa and Grandma Hawke; you’re... their grandson."

The secret was finally revealed, and Elara Don felt both relieved and anxious.

She stared at Damon Hawke steadily, observing his reaction.

Damon Hawke’s first reaction was disbelief.

He’s the grandson of the Hawke elders?

What kind of joke is this?

Yet, since Elara Don said so, he also knew she wasn’t joking.

Is he really the grandson of the Hawke family?

Wouldn’t that make him Vinny Hawke’s son?

Absolutely absurd!

He looked at Elara Don intently, barely suppressing the shock in his eyes, "Elly, tell everything. Are you saying that my biological mother is Vinny? Who told you this? Do you have proof?"

"It was Arthur Hawke. He has a genetic test report of you and Vinny. He used it to threaten to leave you, or he would make it public..."

Seeing Damon Hawke’s surprisingly calm deanor, Elara Don recounted the events.

Damon Hawke listened quietly, with turmoil surging within his mind.

Are his biological parents not the Hawke elders?

Instead, it’s the sister he’s called for over twenty years?

No wonder Vinny never married.

No wonder she always intervened in everything he did!

And his father, the ntor he’s called for over twenty years?

Why weren’t they together? Why did they choose such a way to conceal the truth for over twenty years?

"Tom, Tom?"

Elara Don saw Damon Hawke’s silence, his handso face betraying no emotion, and called out to him twice, looking anxious.

Damon Hawke snapped back to reality and patted Elara Don’s hand.

"Tom, are you okay?"

"I’m fine."

Damon Hawke paused for a mont and asked, "So, you pretended to break up with because of this, then went to Country F to deal with Cole Hawke?"

"Yes, Helen helped out."

Elara Don ntioned how Helen had helped her stage an elaborate sche.

Damon Hawke fell silent again, trying hard to digest this revelation.

The atmosphere was a bit heavy until the two little ones returned giggling, and they noticed sothing was off between the couple.

"Daddy, Mommy, what’s wrong?"

Bea asked with so suspicion.

"Nothing, you two eat slowly; I’m going to the restroom."

Damon Hawke stood up and walked toward the restroom.

The two little ones looked at Damon’s back, puzzled.

"Mommy, Daddy seems to have sothing on his mind? Did you two have another disagreent?"

Bea, with a worried little adult’s face.

"No, nothing like that. Daddy just has a problem to think over. Let’s give him so ti."

Elara Don patted the heads of the little ones and tended to their al.

anwhile, Damon Hawke reached a secluded area, took out a cigarette box, and lit one.

The smoke rose, blurring the man’s handso face.

After a while, he stubbed out the cigarette and took out his phone to dial Arthur Hawke’s number.

The beeps sounded over and over until Arthur’s voice ca through.

"Damon."

"Arthur, let’s et."

"Now? I’m in Country F."

"I’m here too. I know everything. Co to Helen’s place later."

After saying this, Damon Hawke hung up.

He disliked dragging things out.

Since the truth was out, it was better for everyone to put their cards on the table.

After sorting out his feelings, Damon Hawke returned to the dining table.

The mother and children at the table all looked at him in unison.

Damon Hawke curled his lips into a smile, "Coming back to see the concerned looks from you three gives a little emotional lift."

His tone was light and casual, indicating to Elara Don that he had regained his composure.

Indeed, he was a man seasoned by storms; nothing could throw him off balance.

Elara Don smiled back, feeling a bit relieved.

"Elly, we’ll go to Helen’s later; Arthur will be there too."

Damon Hawke said.

Elara Don was slightly taken aback and looked up at him.

The man was calm, as if discussing the most mundane thing.

Is he going to confront Cole Hawke?

...

Helen’s apartnt.

Upon receiving Elara Don’s call, saying that Damon and the two little ones had arrived in Country F, Helen hurried back.

"Wow, boys, let big sister Helen have a look, which one of you is Bea, and which one is Charlie!"

Helen carefully scrutinized the two little ones dressed identically, looking from left to right, unable to tell who was who.

"Are you Bea?"

Helen asked with a smile at Bea.

Bea’s big eyes rolled around, and he shook his head on purpose, "I’m the older brother."

"Oh, so you are Bea?"

Helen looked at Dominic Hawke, feigning realization.

Dominic Hawke glanced at Bea, "Bro, it’s not nice to lie."

"Bro, I’m the older one."

Bea put on an innocent look.

Helen looked at one and then the other, still unable to distinguish who was who.

She grabbed Elara Don, who was trying not to laugh, "Charlotte, tell , who’s the older brother and who’s the younger one?"

Elara Don chuckled and looked at the brothers.

"Alright, stop teasing Aunt Helen, quickly tell her who’s older and who’s younger."

The brothers exchanged a glance, and Bea shrugged, "Alright, Aunt Helen, I’m Bea."

"I knew it, you’re the naughty one, tricking like that!"

Helen grabbed the little guy’s shoulder and pretended to tickle him harshly.

Bea laughed heartily, "Brother, help !"

Dominic Hawke said nonplussed, "Aunt Helen, stop teasing my brother."

"You’re a cheeky one too, calling Auntie! I told you to call Sis!"

Helen said displeasedly, looking at Dominic Hawke.

Upon hearing this, Elara Don glanced at Damon Hawke, her smile fading slightly.

"Helen, co over here; there’s sothing I need to tell you."

Elara Don pulled Bea aside, signaling for him to take Dominic Hawke on a tour.

Understanding the adults wanted to talk in private, Bea led Dominic by the hand to the inner room.

"What’s so secretive?"

Helen asked, then looked at Damon Hawke, extending her hand, "Hi, future little uncle, no need for to introduce myself."
