Damon Hawke was playing chess with his two sons in the study.

He tossed the chess pieces aside, signaling the two kids to play against each other, and he left the room.

Was he hearing things?

Damon Hawke raised his eyebrow, "Where are you? You sound like you’re in a good mood."
"Yeah, I am in a very good mood."
On the other end, Elara Don chuckled and replied.
"Did sothing good happen? Or are you on a date, soone confessed to you?"
Damon Hawke opened the bedroom door, squinting and asked.
He hadn’t forgotten, Cole Hawke went to Country F to have dinner with her.
Feeling this happy, was it because of Cole Hawke?
"What nonsense are you talking about? Just sothing good happened, that’s why I’m happy."
Elara Don said with a laugh.
"So Cole didn’t confess to you? Then why did he co to Country F to find you?"
Damon Hawke insisted, asking.
"He ca because..."
Elara Don blinked, "Wait, how did you know he ca to Country F? Did you have soone monitoring here?"
"Monitoring? I’m protecting you."
Damon Hawke didn’t intend to hide from her, "You’re alone in Country F, do you really think I can be at ease?"
Elara Don curved her lips, feeling a warmth in her heart.
"Tom, don’t worry, I’m fine. Once work is done, I’ll return to Sea City. Wait for ."
Asking him to wait for her?
This sounded like resolving so concern.
Damon Hawke’s eyes flickered, "Elly, what are you hiding from ?"

With things resolved, would she find a suitable ti to tell him the truth?

Damon Hawke was full of curiosity, eager to know what Elara Don was hiding from him.
But since she wanted to keep him guessing, he decided to put it aside for now.

He knew Cole Hawke had thoughts about Elara Don, still worried about this.

"A friend of mine. Alright Tom, I won’t chat longer, I need to find Craig Landers."
Elara Don didn’t want to continue the conversation, she had to find Craig Landers.
Unsure if Leia Quinn had returned ho.
"Elly, why are you looking for Wayne?" Damon Hawke asked.
"Kiki ran into so trouble, the two of them... sigh, a bit of a headache."
Elara Don sighed, and explained briefly.
Damon Hawke squinted, rembering the call from Craig Landers, and understood.
So, it was Leia Quinn who got into trouble!
"Alright, I’m hanging up now."
Elara Don ended the call and dialed Craig Landers.
anwhile, Craig Landers was at the Hook Family residence.
He wore a dark expression, looking at Yuna Wynne hiding behind Mr. Hook, "Tell , did you plot against my wife?"
Craig Landers seed like a demon from hell, surrounded by a terrifying aura.
Yuna Wynne clutched Mr. Hook’s clothes tightly, "No, I didn’t plot against Leia Quinn, you have no evidence so don’t speak nonsense."
"Indeed, young Landers, without evidence you can’t falsely accuse my Wynne. My Wynne has always been very obedient, how could she do such a thing?"
Mr. Hook defended Yuna Wynne.
Craig Landers stared at Yuna Wynne, as if trying to see through her.
Then, his phone rang.
Craig Landers slowly took out his phone and checked the incoming call.
It was Elara Don calling.
Craig Landers pressed his lips, looking at Yuna Wynne, "You better be telling the truth. If I find out you’re secretly up to no good, I’ll make you regret existing in this world."
He’d been looking for Leia Quinn all day, yet hadn’t had ti to find out the truth.
He just hoped Leia Quinn would stand before him, willing to have a proper conversation.
After speaking, Craig Landers turned and strode out of the Hook Family residence.
Yuna Wynne was as if drained, covered in cold sweat.
Craig Landers’ temper was terrifying!
What should she do?
"Wynne, did you plot against Gideon and Kiki?"
Mr. Hook questioned.
Yuna Wynne’s eyes flashed, "Not , grandfather, you have to believe , it really wasn’t . You know I like Gideon, how could I possibly ruin his reputation?"
She would deny it till the end!
She wouldn’t admit it even if it killed her.
Outside.
Craig Landers got into the car and answered Elara Don’s call.
"Elly, did Kiki call you?"
Leia Quinn’s phone was still off.
He just hoped Leia Quinn would contact Elara Don.
"No, she hasn’t co back yet?"
Elara Don’s tone was full of urgency.
Craig Landers felt a flash of disappointnt, "No."
Why did she leave without a word?
Why sign the divorce papers so quickly?
Had she never loved him?
Anyway, their relationship developed too fast.
He had always made her passively accept him.
So when things went wrong, was she able to quickly detach?
"Where did she go? Mr. Landers, are you looking for her?"
Elara Don asked urgently.
"I am."
Craig Landers pinched his brow, looking fatigued.
"Mr. Landers, I hope you’re not searching perfunctorily out of anger. Kiki is a good girl, even if you’re going to divorce later, I hope you can sit down calmly and talk it out."
Elara Don said.
Craig Landers was upset.
"I’m not being perfunctory, I’ve really been sending people to look for her."
At that mont, the phone showed an incoming call.
"Alright Elly, I won’t say more now, I have a call coming in, we’ll talk later. If Kiki contacts you, please let know."
He hung up and answered the call.
It was his assistant calling.
"Speak."
"Mr. Landers, traffic authorities sent a notification that a car went off the mountain road into the sea, I checked, it’s the young madam’s car."

Craig Landers’ pupils shrank suddenly.
"Are you sure! What about my wife?"
"The car has just been retrieved, the young madam wasn’t inside."
