Elara Don sent the ssage, then tossed her phone aside.

Just as she was about to put on her lab coat and head to the lab, her phone beeped again.

Elara paused and instinctively glanced at her phone.

It was another ssage from Cole Hawke.

Elara picked it up and opened the ssage.

Cole had sent a genetic test report.

Elara was puzzled, quickly scanning the docunt.

When she saw that the report was a parentage test between Vinny Hawke and Damon Hawke, her eyes widened in shock.

What is going on here?

How could Vinny and Damon be mother and son?

Damon is clearly the son of the Hawthorne elders!

How could his sister suddenly beco his mother!

"Aren’t you coming up? If not, I don’t mind letting everyone see this news."

Cole’s ssage ca again.

Elara quickly typed a line, "I’m coming up right now."

She was so shocked; she needed to find out what was going on!

The rooftop.

It was a sunny day, yet the wind was strong because of the height.

Cole felt the coolness of the autumn breeze against his face and heard hurried footsteps coming from behind.

Elara had arrived.

She had co to confirm the truth with him.

Cole’s lips curved slightly as he slowly turned around.

Elara hurriedly approached Cole, waving her phone, "Senior, is this true? Are you lying to ?"

"Elly, I’m not lying to you. If you don’t believe , feel free to verify with Vinny."

Cole looked at Elara and said.

Elara swallowed, "What exactly is going on? How could Tom be Vinny’s son? He doesn’t know the truth, does he?"

It seed the Hawthorne had always kept this from Damon.

Otherwise, Cole wouldn’t be telling her this.

"He really has been kept in the dark. Damon is not actually a direct descendant of the Hawke Family; at best, they are his maternal kin, while his biological father..."

Cole paused, deliberately leaving suspense.

Elara frowned, "Who is his biological father?"

Why did Vinny have to stay by Damon’s side under the guise of being his sister?

It was too unbelievable.

"His biological father is Andrew King, the founder of the Netherworld Organization."

Cole didn’t conceal anything and told Elara.

Elara stared blankly at Cole for a while and then said, "I understand. So what is your purpose in telling this?"

Although she was shocked by Damon’s background, once she got over it, it wasn’t that surprising.

To her, it didn’t matter who Damon’s biological parents were.

After all, she liked him for who he was, not for his identity, right?

She was just curious about the purpose behind Cole telling her this.

"Elly, I forbid you to marry Damon."

Cole finally spoke his mind.

Elara was startled, finding it amusing, "Senior, on what grounds do you forbid from marrying Tom?"

"On the grounds of this test report."

Cole waved his phone, "Elly, if you want to see Tom’s reputation ruined, then go ahead and marry him."

Hearing this, Elara’s expression turned cold.

"Senior, what do you an? Please be clear with your words."

Damon’s background is big news, but it wouldn’t necessarily lead to his downfall just because it’s exposed, would it?

"Elly, previously, the Netherworld Organization was a gray-area Night Organization; their dealings couldn’t have been all above board. Investigate deeply, and you’ll find sothing."

Cole continued, "You should know, Damon now has two identities. He is not only the head of the Hawke Group but also the leader of the Netherworld Organization. One black, one white—imagine if I expose it now, saying he uses the Hawke Corporation as a front for illegal activities, what do you think will happen to him?"

The tone was flat, but it made Elara’s heart race with anxiety.

She certainly believed Damon wouldn’t engage in illegal activities.

But public opinion can be intimidating!

If he were just an ordinary mber of the Hawthorne, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

But he happens to be the son of Andrew King, the founder of the Netherworld Organization!

If his background were made public, even if he were to prove his innocence repeatedly, he could never completely disassociate from the Netherworld Organization.

The complexity of it all cannot be explained easily.

Just the slightest mishap, and Damon could be destroyed.

Therefore, Damon’s background must not be exposed!

Elara clenched her fingers, glaring at Cole, speechless for a mont.

Cole looked at Elara’s ever-changing expression and laughed, "Elly, have you figured out the stakes? If you don’t want Damon to beco a pariah, then don’t marry him."

Looking at Cole’s smiling face, Elara could only feel speechless.

"Senior, why have you beco like this? I always respected you as my senior, yet you..."

"Elly, I’ve never wanted to be just your senior."

Cole stepped forward, holding Elara’s shoulders, "I was the one who t you first. If it hadn’t been for Damon staking his claim on you four years ago, would you have married him? It’s all his fault!"

If it weren’t for Damon, perhaps she would have been with him!

He was unwilling to give up just like that!

"Cole, you’re simply irrational!"

Elara nearly laughed in anger and shook off Cole’s hand.

Cole didn’t get mad seeing her angry behavior.

"Elly, you can consider irrational. Listen closely, you can’t register to marry him, nor can you hold a wedding with him. Otherwise, I’ll make this test report public."

The man’s tone was full of warning, and Elara knew he wasn’t joking.

"Cole, is this enjoyable for you? I don’t like you at all; even without Damon, I wouldn’t be with you."

Upon hearing this, Cole chuckled, "That’s okay. I’ve waited this long, I can keep waiting. One day, you’ll fall in love with ."

As long as Damon isn’t by her side, as long as she sees he exists, she will surely fall in love with him!

"Cole, you’re simply sick!"

Elara was furious and turned to leave.

"Elly, hurry up and break up with Damon. I have contacts at the civil affairs bureau; if you secretly register with Damon, I’ll be the first to know."

Cole’s voice ca from behind, and Elara’s footsteps paused, then angrily strode away.

This Cole is really sick!

And not lightly!

How much interaction had they really had, and what did he actually like about her?

Couldn’t she change?

It was truly infuriating and exasperating.

What should she do now?

For Damon’s future, must she do as he wishes?

Live under his threats for the rest of her life?

anwhile, on another side.

At the high-end jewelry counter in the mall.

Soft music echoed in the air.

The sales assistant courteously and enthusiastically greeted the custors who entered.

"Wayne, I need to get back to the hospital. I have afternoon appointnts. Why did you bring to the mall?"

Leia Quinn asked suspiciously.

Craig Landers smirked, raising an eyebrow, and sat her down on a chair, clasping her hand.

"To choose a wedding ring."
