Chapter 517: I Don’t Want to See Them
“You can be as loud as you want tonight at ho, it’s okay.” Adrian Zhekova whispered in her ear.
Cindy Clarke’s face instantly flushed red, burning hot.
“You better start driving!” Cindy pushed him away, speaking quite irritably.
It turned out that he had been restraining himself when Morgan was around before.
Now that Morgan is not here, he imdiately turns into a flirt.
No wonder Adrian was so eager to leave Morgan at the family mansion.
“Aren’t I driving right now?” Adrian chuckled.

“You’re annoying!” Cindy weakly said.
Yet her tone seed not at all annoyed by him.
It was just her being coquettish.
Adrian felt delighted when he heard that.
At first, his goal was to get Cindy to relax and be affectionate with him.
It ans that Cindy already trusts him completely, relies on him, and no longer has to bear everything by herself like before.
Now, Adrian knows that he has completely achieved his goal.
His eyes filled with warmth as he smiled.
He gently kissed the corner of her eye.
No longer wanting to make Cindy uncomfortable, he went back to driving.
Originally, Cindy thought that returning ho without Morgan’s presence and her chattering would make her feel uneasy.
But who knew that Adrian did not leave her any ti to feel uneasy.
As soon as they stepped through the door, he carried her straight to their bedroom.
Just as Cindy was about to speak, his kisses fell upon her like raindrops.
Then it surged like a tide.
Cindy had long forgotten what Adrian had said earlier.
And she did not listen to the whispers in her ear.
When Cindy woke up again, it was the sound of a mobile phone ringtone that startled her.
The ringing seed to co from a far distance, not very loud in her dream.
When Cindy heard it, she thought she was dreaming.
She turned over, wanting to continue sleeping.
However, as soon as she moved, she felt a sharp pain in her waist, like it was going to snap.
The pain jolted her awake.
Only then did she realize that the mobile phone ringtone was not a dream.
Listening to the ring, she realized it’s not her phone, but Adrian’s.
Just as she was about to call out to him, Adrian woke up as well.
He reached for his phone and looked down at Cindy.
Drowsily opening her eyes, Cindy t his gaze.
Adrian leaned down and kissed Cindy’s forehead, “You continue sleeping, I’ll pick up the call.”
As he spoke, Adrian tried to free his arm from under Cindy’s neck.
However, just as he moved, Cindy felt the cold air enter the small opening in the blanket.
The chill made Cindy shiver and quickly snuggle back into Adrian’s embrace.
Ward by his body, Cindy felt comfortable and sighed, “When you move, the cold air cos in.”
At this ti, the heater hadn’t started yet, but it wasn’t cold enough to turn on the air conditioner.
Moreover, Cindy didn’t like using the air conditioner except for sumr.
Turning on the air conditioner further dries the already dry air in Belfard.
Even when using a humidifier, it doesn’t feel comfortable.
“Just pick up the phone here,” Cindy mumbled.
“Aren’t you afraid it will disturb you?” Adrian said with a smile.
Cindy shook her head, “It won’t bother . Hearing your voice makes feel at ease.”
She did not feel disturbed at all.
Adrian’s voice was low and magnetic, pleasant to hear.
Just listening to his voice, she didn’t need to know what he was saying specifically. As long as there was his voice, she felt good.
Especially when nestled in his arms, hearing his voice while resting her head against his chest, feeling the slight vibration of his chest as he spoke.
It was an indescribable warmth.
She loved that feeling so much.
Thus, Cindy couldn’t help but rub her ear against his chest again.
Her hair and delicate cheek brushed against his chest.
Adrian felt itchy, but it seed like there was an electric current, like a snake slithering.
Since Cindy wasn’t bothered, he embraced her even tighter before picking up the phone.
It was a call from Sheldon Rowland.
Today was Sunday; Sheldon usually wouldn’t call this early on weekends.
Unless it was important.
“Master Adrian.” Sheldon finally had Adrian on the phone and got straight to the point, “Zoe Silverstone went to the Clarke Family, Wendy Clarke just bought three tickets for next Thursday’s flight from Nork City to Belfard. It seems their whole family is coming.”
“Hold on.” Adrian imdiately looked serious and turned to tell Cindy about it.
Before Cindy could speak, Adrian had already sensed her tense up in his arms.
“I know you still have feelings for your father, but what do you think?” Adrian asked.
Cindy shook her head, “I don’t want to see them.”
“If it was just my dad, I would be more than happy. However, with my mom and Wendy involved, it’s not a good sign. They’re probably coming because they think I wouldn’t agree to et them if it was only the two of them. That’s why they brought my dad along.”
“Otherwise, with my dad around, it would be inconvenient for them to say certain things and plan around him.”
Cindy perfectly guessed the thoughts of Christy Xenos and Wendy Clarke.
Adrian nodded, “Then we won’t let them co. If you miss your dad, once we get married, we’ll find a chance to bring your dad over.”
“No,” Cindy shook her head, “I’d rather find an opportunity to sneak back ho and see him. Otherwise, my dad’s presence won’t be concealed from my mom and Wendy. If he returns, he won’t be able to hide the truth.”
“I won’t feel at ease if you go back alone.” Adrian did not object to Cindy’s suggestion, “What if your mom and Wendy catch you and restrict your freedom? I need to accompany you.”
“If you don’t want to show my face, at least let a bodyguard protect you.”
Adrian understood that Cindy didn’t want to expose their relationship.
She was not afraid to let others know about it.
She was just worried that if Christy Xenos and Wendy found out, they would cause more trouble.
Even if Adrian wouldn’t give them a chance to get close.
Having to guard against them because they caused trouble was still irritating.
For example, right now, didn’t Adrian have to have soone follow them to prevent them from causing trouble?
Therefore, Adrian understood Cindy’s thoughts and didn’t feel uncomfortable.
Cindy nodded, realizing the importance of Adrian’s words.
