Adrian defended himself, “I was on the plane at that ti.
I couldn’t use data onboard, and though there was Wi-Fi, the connection wasn’t great, so I didn’t connect.
I only saw your ssage after disembarking.”
With his arms around Cindy, Adrian said, “But I originally planned to surprise you.”
He added a bit pitifully, “Even though you never expressed that you missed , I truly missed you.
So regardless of whether or not you missed , I hurried to finish my work and rush back to see you.”
Adrian then sighed, “You have no idea, I was worried that I might be too clingy, always outside your eyes, not traveling much for work, so that you might grow tired of seeing , hence, not wanting to see anymore.”
“Even if I am gone for a long ti, you don’t seem to be affected; you don’t even miss ,” Adrian said with a sad face.
“I even took a selfie yesterday to see if I’ve beco old and unattractive, no longer able to appeal to you.”
“I even considered sharing the selfie so you could tell what’s not good about how I look anymore.
But I was afraid that you might find it annoying,” Adrian said, sounding very pitiful.
Cindy: “…”
This man really can be too much!

Cindy thought about it and it made sense.
As for Morgan, she wasn’t worried.
Morgan is adaptable and not the type of child who can’t cope without his parents.
With the grandparents here, Morgan really wouldn’t have much ti to miss them.
“Okay,” Cindy agreed readily, “Let’s stick to this plan.”
“Therefore, in the future, you must tell when you miss .
How could saying you miss interfere with my work?” Adrian said, “In contrast, if you don’t tell , I’d be distracted from missing you and lose focus on work.”
“Okay, I understand,” Cindy said.
Adrian sat on a long flight back ho and was still adjusting to the ti difference.
So, even though they say ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder,’ he really didn’t have the energy to do anything else at the mont.
Right now, Adrian simply looked forward to holding Cindy and chatting with her.
At this mont, it was morning at the place where he had been on a business trip.

He said to Cindy, “I woke you up earlier, you can continue to sleep.”
“Are you sleepy?” Cindy asked first.
“I’m still dealing with the ti zone difference, so I’m not sleepy now,” Adrian said.

“You were clearly deep asleep just now,” Adrian worried that Cindy was forcing herself to stay up to keep him company.
“But after seeing you, I’m not sleepy at all now,” Cindy snuggled into his arms a bit more.
Her movent was like a kitten seeking for affection.
Cindy then hmphed, “You said I didn’t miss you.
Now that I see you, I’m wide awake.
I don’t even want to sleep.”
Adrian toyed with Cindy’s hair, “Then shall we chat?
If you feel sleepy, you must sleep.
Don’t force yourself to stay awake for .”
“Alright,” Cindy nodded, “Do you think I’d stand on ceremony with you?”
They were husband and wife now, there was no need for manners.
“By the way, did you see Morgan?” Cindy suddenly thought of and asked.
“Not yet, I’ll see him tomorrow.
It’s all the sa,” Adrian dismissed it casually, “Most importantly, I missed you.”
After a woman gives birth, she unconsciously prioritizes her child.

Cindy then laughed and asked, “How was your trip?
Did everything go smoothly?”

They only resisted a bit when it ca to the conditions he proposed, but in the end, they couldn’t refuse.
“I knew you were the best,” Cindy praised wholeheartedly.
Adrian was so pleased his eyebrows shot up, then he asked her, “What about you?
How was everything at ho during my absence?
Did sothing happen?”
Because of the ti zone difference, they weren’t able to have a proper chat.
When he was free, it would be late at night where she was.
During the dayti, he had to work.
They couldn’t even have a convenient text chat let alone a video call.
They could only leave ssages for each other, but they never managed to have a proper and smooth conversation.
