“Let’s assu that you forgot this ti,” Lyke responded, having carried the suitcase downstairs, “Owen won’t tolerate this oversight.

“How will you punish ?” Peggy muttered.
She was genuinely curious.
To her surprise, Lyke gave her an ambiguous smile and said, “If you want to know, you can give it a try?”
Instantly, Peggy felt it was better not to try.
She quickly shook her head, “I promise I won’t forget.”
“I kind of hope you’ll forget, so I can try out the punishnt,” Lyke said, making Peggy even more confused.
“Have you finished packing?” Lyke asked.
“I just need to pack my shoes,” Peggy replied, “I need to pack two pairs of shoes.”
Peggy went to the shoe rack by the entrance and took out a pair of high heels for daily office use and a pair of sneakers.
She placed them inside a shoe storage box and put it in the suitcase.
“Are two pairs enough?” Lyke felt like she packed too few.
“It’s enough,” Peggy said with a smile, “I’ll only be at your place for three to four days.”
Lyke smiled and said, “If it’s not enough, you can co back and get more.”
Peggy looked at him in surprise.
Indeed, it was probably enough.

He just asked, “Have you completely packed?”

“Then turn off the power in your house.
